"Si."
He hung up and I looked at Royalty who was slowly processing what Xavier had just told her.
"Neveah? You knew?" she asked and Neveah turned to her
"I couldn't tell you. I'm sorry."
Neveah went and wrapper her arms around her friend.
"If I could have told you I would. You're my best friend and I love you. He'll tell you the truth Ro. He didn't have to and he was protecting you. Please don't be mad at him."
"That's just it. I can't be mad at him Veah." Royalty cried "Even if it hurts to break up with him and after everything with Jennifer I still love him. I still want him. I still want to be with him and love him. Neveah I love him."
"And he loves you like crazy." Neveah said "I've never seen him so head-over-heels-crazy for a girl. He loves you so much. Forgive him for lying."
"I want to know why he lied." Royalty sniffled "I want to know the truth."
"Talk to him Ro. Ask him and tell him how you feel about him."
Royalty nodded and looked at me and I smiled.
"Let's go then." I got off the table and Rocco got off the ground
We all left and got into the black SUV waiting for us outside. I had some of the other men come along while some kept an eye on Cardinal. The drive to the club was silent and I knew the girls were anxious. We pulled up to the club and to my surprise Cristiano and the others were already there.
Geovanni's POV
My phone suddenly rang while the others and I sat in a meeting trying to find Xavier.
"Hello?" I answered quite annoyed at being disturbed
"Vanni." a voice said making my jaw drop
"XAVIER!!" I realized the voice and everyone turned to me
"What?!" Crisitiano leaned over and grabbed the phone from me "Xavier?"
"Si."
"Where the heck are you little bro? You have me worried."
"Meet me at the club at midnight. I promise that this time I'll show up."
"Alright. We'll be there."
He hung up and looked at me.
"He's meeting us at the club. He wants us there at midnight." Chrissy said to me
"Then let's go." I stood up "It's almost midnight anyway."
The ride to the club was loud as we were all talking at the top of our voices. Was Xavier really going to show up or was this another prank? We had some of our men in case Cardinal did anything stupid.
We got out the car and stood around the club. It had been closed ever since Xavier disappeared about a week ago. We suddenly saw headlights approaching and black SUV pulled up.
"Is that Xavier?" Alex asked
"Don't think so." Cristinao pulled out his gun
"Drop the gun Cristiano." I saw a figure come out of the SUV
"Damanico?" I gasped as he stepped into the light
He had gotten taller over the past four months since he disappeared.
"What the heck are you doing here?" Cristiano asked putting his gun into his pocket
"Xavier." he answered "Him and your sister."
Cristiano tensed.
"Where's Neveah?" he asked ready to pull out his gun again
This is not going to end well if something happened to Neveah!
"With me." the SUV door opened again and Neveah and Royalty stepped out
"Royalty? Neveah?" I gasped "You were with Damanico?"
"Damanico's my bodyguard and he took me. I was alright though." Royalty smiled "It's a long story. Is Xavier with you?"
"No we're waiting for him." Alex spoke up "What are you doing with my cousin Neveah?"
"Dating him and sleeping with him." Neveah answered softly and Cristiano snapped
"WHAT?!" he yelled at her "You slept with Damanico behind my back? NEVEAH!?"
Neveah flinched a little but stepped up to her brother.
"Stop treating me like I'm a child. I'm grown up too. I do what the heck I want. Stop deciding my life for me." she said it plain out and he was about to reply to her comment when another SUV pulled out and a long time friend jumped out before the vehicle came to a complete stop.
"Felix!" we all looked at him
"Who?" Royalty asked confused
"That's Felix Toronto. A long time friend of the mafia in America." Damanico explained
Felix walked towards with a grand smile and a backpack on his back.
"Boss showed up yet?" he asked
"You're here too?" I asked "Is this a reunion or something? If it is then Vannah's missing out."
We laughed then Felix's gaze fell on Royalty.
"Is that the pretty lady that's got Xavier all messed up?" he looked at Royalty who blushed
"Yep." Cristiano nodded "That's Royalty."
"Pleased to meet the pretty lady." Felix smiled at Ro "You've got things to sort out with Xavier. Just know that he lied for a pretty good reason."
Ro nodded.
"He's going to tell her?" Alex asked Felix
"When he gets here." Felix answered "I see he's finally found a girl to settle with and he wants her to know the dam truth. About time the player found girlfriend material. I hope she's wife material too."
Ro blushed and Damanico playfully pushed Felix.
"Saying it as it is bro." Felix shrugged "I heard you were hiding her Nico. Tell me about that."
Damanico sighed then told us everything that he told Royalty about his family and the family deal. The sound of soft footsteps made us stop talking and look up. A shadowed figure was approaching us. Damanico and Crisitano pulled out their guns and pointed. The figure just kept walking and suddenly stopped a few meters away from us. The figure lifted its head and we soon saw that familiar face we've all missed.
"XAVIER!!!" Neveah yelled and he smiled.
"Twin." he opened his arms for her and she ran into them crying
"I missed you so much." she cried and he hugged her
"I missed my other half." he smiled into her hair
