"I'm not sure if they'll even accept me," she murmured. "I hope they've forgiven my mother for what she did.."
"Don't worry, baby doll," Draco muttered from the driver's seat. If anything goes wrong, let me know and I'll take care of it."
She smiled at her mate who was so caring. "Thank you but.. you don't need to do anything like that anymore. I'll try to face this on my own."
He held her hand as he turned to glance at her frame. "I'm proud of you."
She gave a sly smile. "Thank you, my Alpha."
The ride on the way to the Crescent pack was long and tiring. Anastasia was already getting sleepy on the way. Behind their vehicle they had many trucks following their path, Beta Edward and Wendy are on one and on the other was Beta Charles who was beaten up by the Alpha and Beta Edward. Anastasia had looked at them with disapproval when she found out but her wolf was strangely enjoying the torture of her enemy.

Two hours had gone by until they've finally arrived at the Crescent pack. Gates shaped like the moon opened before them and Anastasia looked in awe at their beautiful buildings and homes inside. She had to say they had a unique kind of architecture, one that looked gorgeous and mind blowing.
Alpha Draco proceeded to park in front of a large mansion. A few had gathered around them. Anastasia walked out the truck only to meet a tall guy with blonde hair who looked at them with a smile.
"Welcome to the Crescent Pack, Alpha Draco and Luna Anastasia. My name is Paul and I'm the main butler of Aloha Fred's house. We heard you have some concerns regarding our ex-Beta Charles."
"Yes," Alpha Draco answered with a serious face. "We've something urgent and very important to tell Alpha Fred and Luna Rea."
"Of course, please follow me," he turned around and led us inside the mansion, giving a tour of the wonders of the place. "We are extremely grateful you brought him back."
"Why did he leave in the first place?" Anastasia asked with curiosity.
He turned and gave her a frown. "You don't know? He betrayed the Alpha, tricked him into drinking a poison. Until now, he is still recovering. His intentions of doing so had become clear over time. He desired to be the Alpha so he tried to murder our leader. He left the pack before we could catch him."
Alpha Draco gave her a look. "Apparently he had also done something terrible and succeeded which concerned Alpha Fred as well."
"Then we must tell him at once," Paul said, finally opening a large double door and informing their arrival. The room revealed a very dim yet sweet scented place. From the king sized bed at the corner of the room, they found the Alpha in bed looking sick and weak. His Luna was beside him tending to his sickness. The moment they walked in, Alpha Fred and Luna Rea looked at Anastasia with surprise written all over their faces.
"Alexandra," Alpha Fred muttered with realization. "You came back."
"My dear Alexandra," Luna Rea had tears in her eyes as she ran to hug Anastasia.
All Anastasia could do was receive the hug, speechless. "I'm sorry but I'm not—"
"My daughter!" Alpha Fred exclaimed, standing up from the bed and trying his best to approach her. He held her face and kissed her forehead. "After so many years, you still haven't changed. You looked as beautiful as when you left your home. Despite my state of weakness, I'll have a celebration for your return! I'm so grateful to Alpha Draco for bringing you back—"
"With all due respect, Alpha Fred," Draco interrupted. "I don't know how to say this but.. She is not your daughter."
Alpha Fred gazed at Anastasia and back at Alpha Draco with confusion. "What on earth are you talking about? Are you telling me I don't know my own daughter? It's been years but I can still recognize her face, even in my dreams!"
"Forgive me but.. Lady Alexandra is dead. She was killed by your ex-Beta Charles. Before that she had built a family with a human and this girl is her daughter, your granddaughter. Her name is Anastasia."
The gasps that echoed cannot be unheard. Anastasia watched as Alpha Fred pulled back from her, tears gathering in his eyes. As the realization sunk in that his daughter was dead, he fell weakly on his knees and Luna Rea rushed to help him.
"My daughter.. killed by my most trusted Beta.. I can never forgive myself! How could I've let this all happen! I couldn't even protect her!" He screamed painfully.
Anastasia looked down at them with grief and sadness pooling in her broken heart. Slowly she approached the broken Alpha and got down on her knees to meet his sad face. "I understand how you feel, Alpha Fred. I went through the same realization and self-doubt when I found out. We can't bring her back.. But all we can do now.. is bring justice to my mother's death. She always said that certain things happen for a reason.. and that justice will be served to those who fairly deserve it."
"My dear child," Alpha Fred murmured with teary eyes. "You have your mother's features and wisdom.. It's like she lives through you.."
Anastasia helped him stand up, his arm wrapped around his Luna while looking at her with so much love. "My granddaughter speaks wisdom beyond her years.. Tonight, we'll bring Beta Charles to justice!"
Anastasia turned and hugged Alpha Draco who stroked her hair and kissed her head. She was finally seeing it. Her family and pack uniting together. Beta Charles would pay for what he had done to her family and she would make sure he'd suffer.
