"Who's that?" Another woman asked, she looked like the later, but a little younger. They both looked so beautiful and fashionable. One thing the Sui's were known for was their ability to produce beautiful women. That is why they can discriminate whoever they wanted because they're beautiful.
"She looks crazy." Another sister remarked. Kate rolled her eyes at them. These three witches were here to poke her again. Are they not tired of always seeking her attention and keep failing?
"Did they invite a mad person in here?" The first sister asked.
"She's Nari Sui, Kate's newly adopted daughter." Another one answered staring at the hideous girl.
"She's hideous." The last remarked again.
We don't need such in our family." The first one added finding a good spot to place her butt. She has been speaking to her sisters all these while, but they made sure their voices were loud enough for everyone to hear.
"What do you expect. She's Kate's daughter, the woman had no eyes for good things."
Still in the silk white dress she had won from the metal asylum, Anna walked in with Noah. She barely wanted to be here, they were all here to discuss about her aunt Grace and grandpa like they weren't alive. But no one knew both people were still very much alive.
She couldn't wait for the reveal day and the punishment she had in store for Kate and her adopted daughter. Nari and Kate would regret ever messing with her family. She didn't care if Kate was her aunt, she had tolerated her bad attitude for so long that she couldn't take it anymore.
One of the women noticed Anna and Noah walk in, along with everyone as they all turned to their direction. There's no way one wouldn't notice
"How are you doing Anna?" One of the old women turned to her. It was Anna's favorite elderly aunt, she recalled always visiting her aunt Brenda while she was little, but since the woman fought with Kate, she was forbidden from seeing her.
"Aunt Brenda." Anna called and hugged her. The last time she had seen the woman was when she was fifteen, how time flies. She looked older now, with wrinkles all on her face. Who knew she would see her lost relatives in this gathering?
"Is that you Anna? Wow you've grown to be so beautiful." Alice said. She is the younger sister to Brenda. These ones didn't like Nari because she was Kate's daughter. They haven't let their previous beef with Kate slide and they wanted to poke her so badly.
"A true daughter of the family, bold and beautiful." Ivy the youngest remarked. All three women eyed the man with Anna.
Nari who couldn't take the embarassing remarks from their family members ran into her room to get ready. She was glad a lot of people have not seen her, else, it would have been so embarrassing for her. There's no way she would let Anna steal her shine again.
She would never let Anna win, Never. Nari fixed her face and hair and sat before the dressing mirror as she started her make up. At these time, the entire Sui family had already began to gather in the lounge. They all had one question in mind, what is wrong with Gabriel Sui's household?
Never has it been heard that the Sui's, no matter how notorious, would always be in the news for one scandal or another. They are always very careful and secretive with their lives. But Kate, Nari and Anna have been an issue to them. They're always found on the news for one scandal or another.
Nari stepped out of the room once she was done. She was dressed in a beautiful blue dress, her hair neately tied and pinned. She looked like Nari again. Kate seeing her walk back into the room felt so proud of her daughter.
She sat next to Kate her head raised high as if challenging someone to say she wasn't beautiful. She had made a mistake once and looked so awful, but she would never let her guard down again. It's a good thing majority of the people in here hadn't seen how horrible she looked.
She stared at the three women that had attacked her earlier. She had no idea why they suddenly hate her so much. She hasn't even seen them before to do anything that would make them hate her.
They were now on the list of her most hated people. She would make sure they pay for their remarks about how she looked. How they judge her. Nari knew when compared in looks to Anna she was nothing, that is why she does heavy make up to look better.
Kate's shoulders was raised high now as she looked at the faces of the three witches that thought they could embarrass Nari.
But Brenda, Alice and Ivy weren't at all moved by the girls new look. They barely cared about her, but just wanted to annoy Kate. They ignored Kate's little actions and turned to Anna.
"Anna dear, how are you holding up? Losing your grandpa and favorite aunt must be devastating." Brenda turned to her neice. She had seen Anna cry that day, but she was also too heart broken to approach her neice. Everyone was saddened by the news.
"I'm fine now aunty, all thanks to Noah." Anna said proudly. She didn't mind flaunting her hubby a little before these people. Only her immediate family knew he was Noah Declan so she's safe.
"That is sweet." Alice said.
"And he's so handsome." The older women blushed over him. This made Kate so jealous. She always isn't happy when people praise or give attention to Anna.
"Where is Mack, why isn't he here?" Kate turned to her daughter.
"He said he has things to do." Nari said. Mack had left to find other solution of the situation at hand, besides he was nothing compared to Noah when it came to looks, money or power, so it's best he isn't here.
"Of all days, he had somewhere to be today? How will he get introduced to the rest of the family?"
"Oh he's so handsome."
"My young self is crying so much."
"Lucky Anna. You two would make the perfect couple and the perfect children."
"Yes, after the burial we can arrange for that."
"Nari, you're married right, why isn't your husband here?" Alice turned to the girl. She had been there that day when Kate introduced her son in law. While everyone pitied them, the three witches had laughed their hearts out.
Kate frowned at her question, even the dumb can understand what they meant.
"How can you be so shameless Anna. We're here for aunt Grace and grandpa yet here you are showing off your man before everyone." Kate said acting like the miserable witch she is. Blaming it all on Anna again.
Anna smiled at the hypocrisy, the same people had introduced Mack on the day her aunt Grace and Grandpa was announced dead and no one found it a problem. But when she does the same, it was a problem.

"Not as shameless as you were when you introduced Mack to the family too. Did you forget so soon?" Everyone looked between themselves at Brenda's response.
"What a hypocrite." Ivy responded.
"Can we all just forget our previous fights and hold this meeting in peace?" An elderly woman from amongst them said. They were all tired of the constant fights and silly shades between everyone. They had lost two important family members the fights were not needed at all.
"Of course we can, Brenda isn't as miserable as the people in here, she can control herself." Alice said.
"But Kate isn't wrong either, and what is a none family member doing in our meeting?" One woman asked staring at Noah.
"You have no right to disrespect our family like this Anna. Bringing in a stranger is the height of it. He must leave." She continued with all certainty. Kate and Nari laughed at the drama. This is all they wanted, get Anna into trouble everytime and they always succeed.
The family members all looked between themselves, "He's a member of the family Eunice. He's Anna's husband." Martha said this time. She hadn't believed it either, it's a shame her brother decided to hide such union from their family and the public eyes.
"What are you talking about." Eunice asked.
"Noah is Anna's husband. It's sad Gabriel never announced their marriage." Martha explained. Eunice was stunned for a moment, they all thought Anna was useless.
"That's not possible." Eunice shook her head. She didn't have to look at Noah twice to know he's a man of importance, Anna cannot be married, she's as stupid as her aunt. Everyone saw Gabriel's family as stupid because they were all women.
"Is it true Kate? Is he Anna's husband?" Eunice asked.
"Yes." Kate couldn't deny it.
