Chapter 442 PART OF THE FAMILY 1

1506words
Noah had thought about making his marriage to Anna known to her family and his to avoid confusions like these. It's normal for their families to know about their marriage. Since they wanted it private, they could make everyone sign an NDA and shit their mouth.

Signing an NDA was easy since Anna was a celebrity unless the person have an ulterior motive.

The family members who had no idea about the marriage all began to murmur amongst themselves. Most people were angry Gabriel had kept the Sui's heiress's marriage a secret and others were just curious to know who the man Noah was. What family he belonged to.

Some of them recalled he was here with Anna the day Grace and the generals death was announced. Everyone in the room were curious to know who the young man was.

"What family do you belong to young man?" A man there couldn't hold his tongue. He's Gideon, Anna's far relative.

"Yes, and Kate, why would you and Gabriel hide such news from us, this is something to celebrate about. Our Anna is married and yet no one was invited?" Carolina said.

"If you had said anything Kate..."

"Anna's marriage was impromptu, even I didn't know when she got married." Kate didn't like that they were blaming her or the fact that they were talking about Anna, it's not her fault Anna had to be irresponsible. Why does her life have to revolve around Anna.

It's always Anna this, Anna that, Anna, Anna, Anna!

"Hahaha, I knew it. She went ahead to trap a street drunk and dressed him to look important." Eunice laughed. Anna frowned at her words. She didn't understand what Eunice's problem was or why she was attacking her.

"Watch your tongue Eunice..." Brenda warned.

"Or what? I didn't bring a street rag into the family. No one knows he's married to Anna so he has to leave." Eunice declared.

"But he's married to Anna, Kate just confirmed it." Gideon defended Noah.

"It doesn't matter whether he's a street drunk or a wealthy man. He's Anna's husband and should not be disrespected." Martha said.

"Why should I respect a street rag?"

"Because your husband is also one, that's why you never take him to events or social gatherings." Anna said this time with the sweetest smile. Her action only annoyed the woman more.

"How dare you!!!"

"But that's the truth Aunt Eunice. You're miserable and ashamed of your husband that's why you attack everyone. I am not miserable and my husband is not a street rag." In the family, Eunice and her husband are the poorest that's why she attacks everybody else. Noah smiled proudly at his wife's words.

"Kate I will not sit here and take insults from a child."

"So in other words you cannot take what you give out." Anna added.

"If your husband is so special why hasn't he uplifted your family from the humiliation your stupid aunt caused." Eunice clapped back.

"Because some mistakes need punishments and are not just amended overnight." Anna responded casually. The other family members stared between each other, everyone wondering where the calm sweet Anna had gone to and why she had big mouth today.

Even Kate felt hit by her words. She frowned. She felt insulted by her neice, just because she's married to Noah, doesn't mean she could speak to her that way. Anna on the other hand, didn't care about anyone, she was super angry with both Kate and Nari and would do anything in her powers to spite them.

"I'm married legally to Noah, though our marriage was not planned, Noah is my husband. I'm a public figure and I would love it if these information remain between us." Anna started.

"Now if you want to know anything about my husband and his family, you will all have to sign an NDA first. We have more than enough slip to go around." Anna sent a text to Lola immediately.

While they all argued, Nari was focused on Kate's purse than the insults flying around. She stared at the purse and quickly snatched it from the table. It's the reason she had sat next to Kate.

Nari quickly opened the purse only to find it empty. Her eyes went wide as she wondered where everything had gone to. If the bank card and reciets are not in here, where the hell could Kate have kept them?

"Did you think I wouldn't notice Nari?" Kate mumbled the words and she froze.

"What did you take me for, a fool?" Kate asked and Nari bit her lips. She didn't mean to hide things, she thought she couldn't trust Kate, that's why she had not talked about her parents. She's never considered Kate her mother, she only agreed to the adoption because she needed it. She needed the money. Money was all Nari cared about.

Right now she was in serious trouble. She has watched Anna all night but the girl has shown no sign of blackmailing them. Almost immediately, Nari saw a text on her cell phone. "You have less than an hour." She panicked. She needed the money now. Where's Mack, they're going to expose them.

"I asked you about your real family countless times but you said nothing about them. You told me they were dead." Kate was hurt. Just recently, she also discovered Nari had been the one to sell off her jewels, and now she was trying to steal her money?

"I..." Nari couldn't say a word, nothing. She was going crazy, there was no explanation she could give to Kate at the moment. She had no idea Kate would find out about it. But what did she expect, the woman was online, plus the news had been everywhere. She had been trending nonstop for hours and this is all thanks to Anna.

"I've seen the news online, I've seen your real family, why didn't you tell me about it?" Kate asked. And to make matters worst, the person she trusted the most was trying to steal from her. Kate felt betrayed.

Nari got up immediately and dashed out of the room like a mad woman. She needed help. She needed assistance, anyone who would help her. The entire family watched her run out of the room.

"What wrong with her?" Debra who had just finished signing the NDA papers asked. Anna smiled as she saw Nari run away.

"She had an emergency, can we continue?" Kate asked and everyone agreed. One person running off meant nothing, besides, they can continue without her.

"Since everyone has signed their NDA's, I'll introduce myself to everyone. I'm Noah Declan, Anna's husband." His words turned the entire table into choas as everyone was shocked, curious, impressed and amused at once.

No wonder the Declan's have visited the day Grace and the General were announced dead, it was because, they were in laws. The news was mind blowing, no one expected Anna to be associated with such wealth.

Eunice lips twitched at the revelation. She's never been more ashamed of herself. First it was Anna was married, and now, it's Anna is married to the richest man in Summerlane. They were seeing Noah Declan in flesh and blood for the first time ever.

Noah Declan was dinning with them. Of what a privilege. He was not everything the magazines and news outlets described. He was beyond that. Beyond beautiful. He was magnificent.

The older woman envied Anna. The girl was beautiful, it's normal she would attract a man like Noah Declan.

"Noah Declan?" Gideon asked with wide eyes.

"Noah Declan, as in, the richest man in Summerlane?" Carolina asked.

"That's impossible, you cannot be Noah Declan." This was Noah Declan, a man no eyes have seen yet many have felt him in one way or another. This is a dream come true. The Declan's are now related to the Sui's.

"Anything is possible when you put your mind to it." Noah smiled.

"I should have done a public introduction, but there are a few issue between my father in law and my family. Now is still a good time, at least you all know Anna is my wife and should be treated with respect." Noah announced and Kate rolled her eyes.

Noah was eye catching, she also fell in love with him the first day they met, but when she found out who he was, she couldn't anymore.

The family completed the meeting as everyone surrounded Anna. They all wanted to be friends with her now.

"Anna wow you look stunning tonight."

"Anna congratulations on you marriage, I wish I was there."

"Anna I hope you love a happy and fulfilling life. If you ever need help with the mansion work, I could send my daughters over to help." Another relative who was shameless said.

"We have enough maids aunty."

"I know, but you need assistance and my girls are more than available." The woman was persistent.

"Alright." Anna nodded and walked away.
