Anna could be close to any member of the Declan family, but everyone knows Evelyn and her son Noah are the hardest people to impress in this world and yet Anna made a woman like that speak to her normally. Erica and Martha were both impressed.
They suddenly realized they had been too quick to judge the girl and throw stones, when in fact, she's the one with the substance and connection.
Who wouldn't want to be close to Evelyn Declan? The mother of the richest man in the country.
"How lucky is your neice Kate, if she plays her card right, she could be Noah Declan's wife." One of the women there couldn't hide their words. This is every mother's dream. To be related to wealth and Kate just had it at the tips of her fingers. The only thing she didn't like is the fact that the good things were going to Anna and not Nari.
To her, it would be better if it was Nari and not Anna.
Until now, they all thought Anna is just a notorious public figure and nothing more, but seeing her hang around the biggest names and stars in the industry...
"I am super proud of my girls Anna and Nari, they have been my biggest back bone. It would have been better if Grace and my father were here to celebrate them with me." Kate wiped her tears.
"That's enough, Grace and your grandfather are happy and proud of you all wherever they are. I don't think they would want you to keep crying Kate."
Paul was having an eyesore where he sat. He was tired of the constant lies and crying games when he knows the truth. Kate is the most heartless woman he has ever met in his life. She and her daughter deserve nothing but the worst coming their way.
He couldn't just wait for his boss to do what is in his heart to do. He couldn't wait for his boss to deal with this people as planned. But Noah said Anna would be the one to deal with them and he would make sure of it.
"I'm perfectly fine now, thanks for all of your love and concern." Anna said to them. She didn't want to be around such company, these women are no different from her aunt Kate.
"Wow, I can't believe I'm standing next to Evelyn Declan." One of the women that had rushed to Anna's side couldn't hide her words. She had been star struck from the moment she met Kate. It's not everyday one get to be in the company of greatness.
Evelyn said nothing to the woman and just focused on her daughter in-law. Nari wanted to bring up the news of the pregnancy so bad but Anna had warned her never to bring it up. If she did, her family would be exposed.
She was tied down between her reputation and the lies she thinks Anna was telling. All of these love and sympathy on Anna was be a use of the lies. She hated that they showed her so much love and respect.
"Anna are you sure you don't want to come back home with us tonight?" Evelyn asked.
"No, Anna cannot leave." Nari quickly said.
"I will, I need air, I'll be back by tomorrow." Anna corrected. She really didn't want to stay next to Kate and Nari, she didn't consider those two her family. Grace and her grandfather are the reason she even kept talking to them, there's no need pretending like they love each other when they clearly do not.
"Well, on behalf of Anna and the us we humbly gift you these gifts miss Kate. We're so sorry for your loss." The a list stars that had arrived started dropping their gift for the family one after another. There were flowers hanging from all angles, money gifts and so on. Kate couldn't be happier. She had made a whole lot just by announcing her father and sisters death, she could only imagine how much she would make when their funeral begin.
The gift Anna has gotten from a few guest were all passed down to Kate as she didn't need it also. She wasn't in a gift parade, she had actually lost lives.
Anna and Noah left the mansion after their gift to Kate. Both people went separately to avoid more talks but got to seat together on the way. Noah couldn't spend a second without his wife especially at the moment. Now cuddled up in his arms, Anna could finally cry the way she wanted.
She held his shirt and cried her eyes out. Right now, Noah feared whether it was too late to break the news of her aunt being alive to her or not. He wondered what she would do when she finds out Grace isn't actually dead but she had wasted her whole day worrying and crying over nothing.
Now Noah thought about it again, he realized how stupid it sounded. Oh his wife is going to kill him for not telling her in time. She had warned him and made him sweat to always tell her things before hand. Noah took in deep breaths as he pat her back softly.
"You told me aunt Kate had her." Anna asked. She has held all of these questions since morning wondering what went wrong. Noah had assured her countless times that her aunt was okay, he told her Kate had her. Did her Aunt Kate finally kill them?
"She did have them." Anna wiped her eyes and looked up at him. She didn't care if she looked hideous at the moment, she needed to know what was happening. Everything had been so confusing for her.
