What just happened?
Just moments ago, everyone was fine, now everyone was stunned staring at the girl on the floor with blood all over her dress.
Laying next to the woman on the floor was none other than the shocked Anna who had been pushed to the floor too. Beth was now bleeding from her stomach.
She had seen the dagger with Hannah, she knew Hannah was going to do something stupid to her, but she never thought the woman would try to come for Anna.
She would never let her brother lose his children again. Her niece and nephew deserve better. Everything had been her fault. It's all her fault things had to be this way. If she didn't encourage Cara the way she did back then, her best friend wouldn't have been so delusional.
"What have you done." Nari screamed in horror.
Noah rushed to his wife's side like a mad man as he picked her up. He had no idea he flew all the way from the stairs till he was standing before his wife.
"Beth!!" Evelyn and Lionel rushed to their daughter's side as they helped her up. Luckily Beth had been lucky enough and the dagger only gave a small cut on her skin and dress. It was enough to draw blood, but not enough to kill her.
"I'm fine mother, it's just a scratch." Beth whispered.
"Seize her!!" Vincent yelled at the security men and they all rushed to Hannah's side and grabbed her. Everyone was still stunned at what had happened tonight.
"Do whatever you want with me now!" Hannah raised her voice as the guards seized her, the little dagger in her hands made a loud bang as it kissed the floor.
"Break me, kill me, destroy me, because if I survive tonight. I'm coming back to kill her." She pointed at the Anna who was still trying to recover in Noah's arms.
"I will not rest until she's paid for everything she did to my child." Hannah yelled.
"My Cara has not been the same anymore because of her, yet here you all her partying and drinking like nothing happened." She continued.
"Bunch of heartless people. You all will pay. You will each pay with your life for the damages caused to Cara. I'll make sure of it."
"Take her away!" Lionel yelled at the guards. He didn't want to listen to her empty threats anymore. How did such a lovely party almost turn into a blood bath? Today, if not for Beth's intervention, he would have lost three people tonight. His grandchildren and his daughter in law.
Shocked Anna and Noah had already left the scene before anyone would notice. It's a good thing they hadn't noticed how Noah flew all the way to save his wife except of course one person that has been disappointed by the outcome of tonight. But that didn't mean Nari hadn't noticed and she was jealous herself.
Just now she was happy Anna was in a scandal. She wished so badly Hannah had hit the right spot. What would the news be?

As Nari stared at the scene as well as everyone quietly, she couldn't help but notice the woman at a corner. The one that had attacked them when they arrived earlier. Allies like Roseline are the people they needed around them if they wanted to take Anna and the Declan's down for good. But Roseline is a proud woman, she would never want to mingle with them, especially because of Anna.
To Rose, there would have been more blood bath if Hannah did a wonderful job. Roseline clicked her tongue as she drank from the glass in her hands. One should never worry about drama from the Declan's because it will always come. They've made the worst enemies trying to be good to everyone.
It was obvious the party was over as everyone in the hall were now all being escorted out of the mansion one after another. Their phones and garget were all checked for fear of the news leaving the mansion. Evelyn could handle little rumors about her family, but not when there are evidence flying around.
As for Hannah, she would deal with her for even thinking of harming her child and daughter in law. Anna doesn't deserve any of the treatment she was getting. She's just a girl who somehow got tied up in a system filled with jealous people all around her for simply just existing.
The doctor's arrived at the mansion in no time with their ambulance. Noah had hired two doctors to check up on his sister and wife. He was still very upset by the outcome of tonight. This is the reason he hates parties, people tend to take advantage of the situation and do the worst things at every gathering.
His sister's birthday would have been a disaster tonight. But all hell would have broken lose of anything had happened to his children.
The world was yet to know about their existence, yet nature was already testing his patience. He couldn't imagine what he would have done tonight if that dagger pierced through his wife's skin, but he sure would have gone berserk.
Noah seated in the room, he stared at the woman all tangled up in his arms. Anna was still shaking a little. Her waist and hands still hurt because of how she had fallen, but she was okay. She hadn't said a word due to shock. Never in her life did she think anyone would attack her the way Hannah did.
She had let her guard down for a moment. A momentary relapse and she had almost lost her two children again. She squeezed her stomach at the thought.
"It's alright you're safe now." Noah assured her, rubbing his hands on her back tenderly when the doctor stepped in.
