Her family have been somehow chosen by the charity organization. This was good news, especially since she didn't have the money for their upkeep anymore. If they're being cared for by strangers, then she doesn't have to worry about them anymore.
Nari was too engrossed in her little victory that she hadn't noticed Kate who quickly rushed to her new safe to check on her box of jewels, just to be sure Anna hadn't touched more jewels as she walked in. She knew it was pointless protecting the box of fake jewels, but she still had little hope that maybe one, just one could be real in there.
In due time, she would have to check them herself. She had no idea why Anna decided to be so heartless and cruel towards her. Since her neice had decided to punish her like this, it was time she paid back. She would be ereg this slide. She might have let every other thing slide, but not this one. Those jewels meant the world to her, and Anna had stolen, not one, but all of them.
"Their visit was rather strange." Nari said to her mother as she packed the tea cups and tray back in.
"Hmm, at least we know they didn't steal anything." Kate joked.
"Bring the dresses my neice had ordered, we need to start preparing for the event at hand." Kate said to her daughter.
"Cars will be available at exactly 8pm, we have limited time mother." Nari said.
"Then let's hurry and get ready to ruin the night for Anna."

While the trio drove back to the Declan's mansion, "Slow down a little." Anna suddenly said and Vincent and Lola wondered what she was up to this time. It's strange she decided to stop the car at the middle of nowhere.
"Grandpa, please come with me, I need to get food from my favorite spot." Anna said.
"You have a favorite spot?" Vincent peeked around the place. They were in the same metal asylum street they left off this morning. He didn't understand why his granddaughter in-law wanted to eat from a place like this.
"Pretty daughter, if it's food you want, I can take you to the best restaurants in the country. This place." He peeked out the window again. "This place..."
"Is the best place." Anna completed his statement. She had eaten to her satisfaction when Noah brought her here last night. Infact today, she wanted to try the steak and the potatoes. When she saw the stake last night, it was so juicy and sweet.
"It's what the babies want Grandpa, don't you want to give them what they want?" Anna said like the spoilt daughter she was. Vincent loved her like his own child that she was always much free with him than her own grandfather. She can never be this spoilt before the general, even if he loves her dearly and would do anything for her, she wasn't always allowed to behave some certain ways around him.
"Of course, anything for my great grand kids." Vincent agreed immediately. Their car was packed by the road side. Rather than Anna adding all of the heavenly disguise on her body, she only wore her black hat, her coat and glasses. She didn't want to draw more attention, yet her presence did more than enough.
Vincent stepped out of the car with his daughter in law. He didn't like the idea of eating food from the streets, but he's done this before. Evelyn had the same taste bud when she was pregnant for Noah too. Oh how times flies, he had wished to experience such again in years, and luckily his grand daughter in law was pregnant.
"Be careful while you're stepping out my pretty daughter." Vincent said softly. Anna couldn't tell who spoils her better, her caring husband, or his family.
When they reached the shop again, she went to their usual spot. As always, Vincent demanded that the place was closed for the time they would be there. He didn't want anyone disturbing his grand daughter in law while she eats. He has ignored the countless text and calls and Noah
"Welcome madam." The shop owner rushed to their side to get their orders. Luckily this time, Meredith and Faith were already settled in the shop so there was no way they could go out now.
Today has been one hell of a day for Grace, her work had been the largest in the field since there was no one to provide or pay for her bills. Since her so called family had somehow abandoned both her and her father, she had to work harder for the food. Meredith had kept her company and helped her the little way she can.
Even if Grace has refused to say a word to her to speak about her family, she still kept the woman company all day. That would be the sanest mad woman in the building and Grace has done a good job maintaining a low profile lately. She has learned a good lesson and has stayed away from trouble while trying to find a means of escape.
"Isn't she the same woman from last night?" Meredith asked Faith calmly.
"And she's here with another man. A much older person. I told you about these shameless women." Faith said as a matter of fact my as she stared disdainfully at the unknown figure.
It was moments like this she wished she could get a glimpse of whoever the person is and just expose them. But that is none of her business.
