It had all been Nari's idea because she wanted to see her family after years of placing them there too. She hasn't found the courage to tell Kate about them and she doesn't think she would tell her about them. Anyone who heard of what she did to her parents never sees her the same anymore.
It happened with the Yong's, Veronica sees her as a bad child till this every day.
The doctor had called and issued a warning about her mother getting more violent and causing trouble. There isn't nothing Nari hasn't done to keep that woman at bail, but nothing seems to be working anymore. With money no longer in her hands, she was scared they might throw them out.
If they do throw them out of the asylum, it would be a big problem for her and her brand. This is the secret she doesn't want anyone to know about. This is the real Nari.
She had locked her siblings in there too, and they didn't give her these much trouble, but her mother...
Their hired car arrived at the mental asylum at the same time a black sleek car arrived. Nari and Kate didn't pay attention to the car that arrived, neither did the members of the car pay attention to them. They were here on a different mission, and that was finding out who Nari's parents were.
Once they have found her parents, they would have so much to hold against her. Nari might never be able to lift her face to the world anymore.
Anna didn't need much disguise, she wore a casual hate and glasses and a big coat to cover up her identity. It was times like this that such dressing doesn't fail her.
"You still haven't told me what we're doing at a mental asylum." Vincent asked. When his daughter in law told him they were visiting this place he had thought it to be some joke. But here they are. In the den of mad people.
He couldn't understand why they were surrounded by mad people. Was his daughter in law trying to sell him off?
"Not everyone here is mad Mr Declan. Plus we're here to visit a woman whose family have abandoned her in here for so many years. That woman turn out to be of importance to us." Lola explained without giving out so much information.
For someone like Nari, Lola knows the girl must have paid a fortune to keep her family matter a secret for years. There's no amount of money they can offer than can make these people talk, Lola has tried before. That is why she's come up with the perfect plan, that could be beneficial for both Anna and everyone.
They have decided to make these mental hospital public a little bit. With Anna hosting her first ever charity organization in here, they'll have all of the information they need about the woman.
"You're here madam, welcome welcome." A nurse hurriedly went to welcome them in. It's not everyday a celebrity as big as whoever had arrived get to visit the slum and help their hospital. And it wasn't easy accepting a public figure in here, especially with the illegal activities going on. But Anna's money was huge, and they couldn't recall the last time anyone supported them with such amount.
The hospital was going bankrupt, they needed all the help they can get to help these patients. Even though most of the patients in here are from the wealthiest families, many of them have been abandoned and neglected by their families. To make matters worst, they cannot be thrown into the streets because they'll get violent with normal citizens.
"With all of the negative news in the press lately grandpa. Lola suggested I start a mental health awareness program and charity in other to help the poor." Anna said even if she knew these charity was only a facade to finding out about who she wanted.
Vincent nodded in understanding as his daughter in law spoke. This was a good thing, at least he knows she has a heart of gold.
"That's not a bad idea, I can support with a few amount of money." Vincent suggested. He would do anything for the mother of his great grand children. Anna seems like a genuine and good daughter, she deserves all of the happiness in the world.
"Please be patient madam, the doctor will be with you shortly. He had other guests to attend to." The nurse smiled at Anna and she nodded in understanding. She could wait a little longer, it's nothing hard to do.
"Your sister had gotten very violent recently Madam. She even killed one of my nurses, who's going to pay for that?" The doctor said to Kate who frowned at this. Grace would never hurt a fly, not even for a second and these people want her to believe that her sister would just kill a full blown woman just like that?
Are they trying to extort money from her?
"Uhm, doctor where is she now?" Kate asked.
"She's been sent to the underground dungeon where she'll be kept with her fellow toxic mad people." He said casually.
"You can't keep her there, you know Grace is anything far from being mad." Kate smacked the table. Her sister has only been here for a week, she couldn't be kept with real mad people. Kate never signed up for this, all she wanted was proof that her sister and her father were running mad and are being too toxic around her. She wanted an easy way to kick them out of their mansion.
"Take her back to where we agreed upon." Kate ordered.
"That will happen when you pay off your debts madam Sui. We can no longer afford the kind of lifestyle you want for your sister, we don't have anough facilities anymore for it." The doctor confessed.
"What do you mean you have no facilities for her treatment? I've pumped hundreds of millions into these place, so how dare you do this to my sister?" Kate asked furiously.
"It's only so much hundred million can do. I have an important guest to attend to at the moment, if you'd excuse me." The doctor go up and walked away.
Kate scoffed as she watched his figure disappear. This people really are a pain in the ass. She couldn't believe he would say such thing to her.
Almost immediately Nari barged into the doctors office. "We need to leave now mother."
