As early as 6am, Anna and her hubby were already present at the Declan's mansion. They have arrived these early to spend their day with the Declan family, while also helping with a few errands before the party.
The birthday girl was already in a red robe moving around the mansion as she packed gifts from all angles. Today's the best day for her, the first birthday she had woken up so happy and free.
"Miss Beth, breakfast is served." A maid announced to her and she hurried in to the dining area with the rest of the family. Maybe her mother was right, today marks a new beginning for her. She would forget about her old life and focus on building a new life for herself.
"Happy birthday baby Beth." Everyone greeted including her pregnant brother's wife who has now become her favorite person.
"Everyone is allowed to call me baby, except Anna." Beth declared. She's no longer the youngest in the mansion, Anna was, and should be treated as that. Yesterday had been a little dramatic and Anna's baby reveal could not be celebrated as they all wanted to celebrate it.
"Age is just a number." Anna said gulping down a mouthful of the juice in her hands but Noah was quick to pull it out before she chokes for the one hundred times this morning. He would never have guest pregnancy would make his sweet wife so clumsy.
Anna's shock yesterday seemed to have destroyed everyone's mood, but it didn't mean they didn't have their little party to celebrate when they got back home. It turns out her brother and his wife has been lying about the pregnancy and God literally punished them with not one but two children.
If you ask Beth, she would say that's the best punishment for thinking they could lie and decieve them.
Vincent has already come up with several names as promised. He was hellbent on naming the twins. Those two rascals. They aren't even out yet, but the love on them is already so overwhelming.
"How are you feeling today Anna?" Beth asked as she took her seat next to her brother's wife.
"Today's not about me, so let's focus on you baby. I arranged a manicure section with my assistant later he'll be taking you there." Anna said.
"And you?" Beth asked.
"Oh, I have some important matters to handle with my manager. I'll be back once I'm done with that." Anna smiled glancing at her hubby who's gaze was already on her. Noah has a thing of always wanting to protect wherever she's going to so she understood his stare.
"What's more important than Beth's birthday party?" Noah asked, he couldn't hide his curiosity and Anna rolled her eyes. She knew with a husband like Noah, she'll never be able to get her me time till she gives birth.
"I have a few things to settle with my aunt and sister sugar. Don't worry I'll be fine, you can even ask for more security just to be sure." Anna suggested like the spoilt wife she was. She was fed up by his overprotectiveness but would get mad if Noah doesn't care even for the slightest bit.
She shouldn't be upset with him, but for some strange reason, she gets extremely emotional with everything recently.
"There's no need for you two to fight Noah. If you want, I can go with your wife while you visit the new site with your father. Evelyn will prepare for the party and Beth will get her manicure." Vincent suggested. He has been pretty much useless around, being his pregnant daughter in law's handbag for a day wouldn't cause so much harm would it.
"That's perfect." Noah said. It's the only way he can concentrate at work with his wife away from his eyes. Anna has a thing for attracting danger wherever she went, it's best he knows she's in safe hands. Vincent is someone that would kill himself to protect his family member.
"That seems like a good plan then." Beth declared. After their breakfast, everyone went about their day. Both Ashley and Lola had arrived at the Declan's mansion. Anna didn't waste anymore time as she left with a few guards, Vincent and Lola while Ashley waited to treat Beth out.
With Evelyn beingeft alone in the mansion, she handled the party as always. Handling things like these was her specialty, but she's so scared her two daughters might never be able to do things like her.
Arranging parties and hosting guest is one essential thing for every woman in the upper echelon. But Evelyn doesn't think both her daughters are up for the challenge. Maybe she'll let them handle the next party and see how very much they do.
Anna might not disappoint her, but she couldn't say the same thing about her cute daughter. Beth is the least interested in things like this.
"So where are we going to today daughter in law?" Now seated in the car with Anna and Lola, Vincent asked his daughter in law. He was excited about the day and wanted to see the things his daughter in law does on her free days.
"To give you a tour of what celebrity lifestyle is actually like. Don't you want to know grandpa?" Anna asked.
"Of course I do. I want to know what you do with your everyday life." Vincent agreed. He would agree to anything as long as it keeps him closer to his great grand children. Most people often misinterprete Vincent's playful side for weakness, but not Anna.
She knew the old man is as sane as everyone around her. Playing the foolish old man, might just be one of Vincents litle tricks to decieve everyone else.
"Don't mind me grandpa, we're going to the metal asylum to visit someone."
