It was obvious Noah was angry. He was upset with her, who wouldn't be. Not with an aunt like Kate. Heartless and lazy to the core. This was her time to punish her for her wrongs, but she still found herself helping the woman. Anna could punish the world, but not her Aunt. No matter what, she couldn't just hurt her Aunt.
"What does she want?" Noah asked, as if he hadn't just read everything. He couldn't believe Kate was still trying to blackmail his wife, even after making sure they were left with nothing. These women just has been way around everyone and everything. And it irked him that it was his wife who has to go through the stress of facing her.
Maybe locking his money will not really do anything since she would still need to face Anna for everything. But controlling it will. He would have to control how much his wife releases to Anna. He was almost at the point of finding Grace, just a little more search and he would find the place Kate has kept the woman.
If there's no money with Kate, then she's powerless, which means it's only a matter of time before she either release Grace or kill her and the general. Noah knows the detective scheme was fake and so does Anna, but now they have to both pretend so that Kate doesn't suspect a thing about it.
"Aunt Grace investigator is demanding for money to continue his search." Anna confessed. She hadn't meant to get exposed this way, but here they are. She had thought she could come up with something before the end of the week, maybe a few millions by the time she does a photoshoot.
"I'll handle this by tomorrow you have nothing to worry about." Noah said calmly.
"But..." Anna's words were cut short when his lips met hers in what she would call a heavenly kiss. Though the shortest they've had in a while, Anna could still feel lingers of his lips and breath on hers. It's been like enternity since she's gotten to kiss her hubby like this. She abruptly forgot about her problem for a few second as her brain tried to register the kiss.
"No buts beautiful. Leave our financial problems to me, I'll handle them. All you need to do is rest my sweet girl, our babies needs all the peace and rest they can get." Noah fixed the final hook of her shoes and dropped her feet down.
"Let's go." He said casually handing her her little purse on the table and Anna got up. She twirled before the floor to ceiling mirror with the most beautiful smile on her lips. Two seed might be growing in her, but she looked pretty normal, like every other day.
Both people stepped out of the mansion once they were done. The maids and servants who had no idea what was going on wondered what adventure their boss and his wife must be up to. These two, were like the biggest stars by day, fighting every and anything and at night... They're just two individuals that want to love each other and live in peace.
Noah had already arranged for the private dinner at one of the best restaurants in Summerlane. He had locked the entire place before their arrival and placed security everywhere for fear of UNWATED paparazzi. Just because he wanted to be broke for a few days doesn't mean he was actually broke. He felt terrible for decieving his wife, but it is worth it.
He wanted to teach Kate and her daughter lessons they would never forget. First he'll make them suffer for what they have done, but that'll be after he finds Grace.
"Welcome Mr Declan." The man at the door greeted as he led them in. It was only now Anna realized there was no one around and that they were the only one. Noah had shit down one of the biggest and most valuable restaurants and on the biggest day just for her. He did it for her safety.
Both people were led to their table where she ordered what she wanted. She's been craving steak for hours now, but her appetite was long gone so she decided to have sushi instead. Anna didn't believe how much she ate that night, and Noah didn't stop her, he ordered for more and more as she ate to her heart content.
After eating a large portion of the sushi, she didn't hesitate to vomit all of it. It was too much for her body to take and she vomited everything she has eaten. Her hubby didn't complain and just helped her all through.
"Noah, I don't like this place anymore, let's go to a new restaurant. I want to eat some street food." Anna said. Tonight is her night of being a spoilt wife and she wanted to be spoilt to the last.
"Alright, anything you want." Noah said as they left the restaurant. He knew cravings like this comes with pregnancy. He noticed because of the way she's been eating lately, plus Anna has gained a little weight even if he has refused to say anything to her.
"Where in the streets do you want us to go?" Noah asked as they moved through the city at night. They were both searching for a street food stamp where she could get the roasted potatoes she was craving so badly.
Since Noah couldn't find the place, he has asked Paul for help and in no time his assistant found a place and called immediately. The place they had both gone to was in the lock part of the city, but they both didn't mind as long as they had their security with them.
Anna didn't want much attention so she wore the little disguise she always brings with her, which was her glasses and hat. And also Noah's coat to conceal her identity as they walked in.
