She felt so neutral about everything...
These past few days have been draining for her. From finding out she was barren, to Grace being missing, to her family losing all of their money to the royal family, and now she's found out she's pregnant at the stage of their lives when they're broke.
It was overwhelming for her that she couldn't hold her emotions in anymore. A tear fell from the corners of her eyes and she caught it. She squeezed her stomach lightly. She couldn't believe two lives were growing in there.
She has heard her children make sound during the ultrasound today but she couldn't celebrate because she was too shocked to. Just when she thought she was pranking Noah's family, Noah had turned around to prank her too.
"Come." Now seated in the car alone with Noah, she fell into his embrace and cried silently. The whole news was too much for her to take in all at once. These explains why she's been so emotional lately. It's because of the babies.
She had two babies growing in her. Her last pregnancy has been a disaster, she would never let anything happen to her children again. She would just have to cope with work and her health till she can no longer hide it anymore.
"Don't hide anything from me anymore Noah." Anna sniffled.
"I deserve to know everything." She added and her hubby nodded in agreement.
"From now on, I'll tell you about everything." He agreed immediately as he pat her back.
"For hurting me today, you'll have to spoil me tonight." Noah smiled at her words. This silly spoilt wife of his, now she's demanding to be spoilt more?
"What do you want, name anything and I'll give it to you." Noah declared.
"A dinner date tonig..." Anna paused as if recalling something. She only realized Noah couldn't treat her to dinner, not when there were paparazzi around looking everywhere for her. Especially with the news on the media, everyone was looking for her as she has been silent for a few days now.
Lola had advised her to be quiet for the first time since any scandal, but the concern of her fans and a few people were becoming unbearable. Everyone wanted to know if everything happening was just a stunt for her movie campaign. Truthfully, Anna has no idea how to get out of these one. She didn't even know where to start from. This news has ruin her image bigger than she thought it would ever do.
"There'll be no need for the dinner Noah. We could just go home and cook something to eat." She said being the considerate little wife she was. She has forgotten they didn't have anyoney at the moment.
"Nonsense, if it's a dinner date you want, then I'll give it to you." Noah declared as he watched his wife adjust on his body.
"You don't have to stress over anything Noah. You could just cook me dinner or something simple." She suggested.
"No, we'll get back to the mansion, and you'll change into something sexy as we go out together." He whispered next to her ears and Anna smiled.
"But we don't have money for dinner now. If we spend everything we have, how do we take care of the kids?" Noah smiled at her words. They aren't out yet here she is worried about what they would do with them.
Anna had never imagined bringing any child into this world to suffer, that's why she always worked her ass out. She didn't want her children to go through any pain at all, she would protect them with everything in her.
"Let me worry about that one now my sweet girl. You should be more concerned about taking good care of yourself." Noah's deep voice echoed through her ears she buried her face further into his clothes. Anna loves being pampered by her hubby, she loves when he carries her like a child and treat her as one.
When they arrived back at home, she didn't waste my time to change her outfit into something more sexy as Noah had asked. Now staring at her reflection through the mirror, Anna stared at her still flat tummy in awe. She couldn't believe she was turning into a mother. It's only a matter of time before her baby bump doesn't hide anymore. When that time comes, whatever shall she do?
She had a lot of work to attend to for the rest of the year. She couldn't just forget her career now could she?
She has worked so hard to get the lead role of her upcoming movie, how would she cope with that. Anna tried to clear her thoughts. She might just drop out of the movie and maybe focus on something else till she's delivered. Her babies are more important than any movie or career.
As she stared at her reflection, her mind drifted to what she would look like if she actually had a baby bump. Would she still look sexy in black outfits like this?
Would Noah still find her sexy and love her with the imperfections?
Moments like this is when she really wish her aunt Grace was around. Even if she has no experience at all, she would have said a few encouraging words to her. Maybe they could browse about being a first time mother online. They would then laugh and cry at their foolishness, and then her aunt would scold her and tell her new means of seducing and pleasing Noah.
"Are you done?" Noah's words distracted Anna from her little day dreaming and she met his gaze.
"Almost." She said picking her earrings but before she could place it in her ears, her hubby caught it. Noah's skillful hands placed the earings in her ears slowly. His hands dropped down to her chin as he lifted her head gently to face him.
"You look beautiful." He complimented with a little perk on her lips. He was already dressed in his usual black suit, but there was something different about his appearance tonight. Something Anna couldn't place her hands around until she noticed his hair. Noah had gotten a new haircut.
"Already keeping the daddy hairstyle." Anna teased. He looked so different and handsome in these new haircut.
"I'm a proud father of the two most beautiful children in the world. I need to prepare myself for them." He declared. "What do you think they'll say when they see this hairstyle?" He asked.
"They're not formed yet sugar." Anna smiled.
"Say's who?"
"They're the smartest little humans in the world. They took right after the beauty in front of me."
"Well, why don't you ask them yourself." Noah didn't hesitate to bend low to her stomach level. His hands caressed her stomach a little as he rested his head gently on it.
"I feel connected already." Anna couldn't control her laughter anymore. Other people are scared to die from pain and sorrow, but she was scared to die from being overly happy.
"Babies, don't stress mummy too much with the usual early morning sickness when the time comes. Grow beautifully, I'll be with you along the way until I can hold you in my hands." He pressed his lips on her stomach.
"Hmm, I could do this all night. Just the four of us, cuddled up in bed." He murmured.
"Come my sweet girl, lets get you something for your feet." He carried his wife in bridal style and placed her on the table before stepping further into the closet to find the best shoes that match her dress. After finding what he was looking for, Noah returned back to his wife.
Noah took her leg, one at a time as he placed her shoes gently on them. Both people smiled at each other, grateful for a second chance at parenthood when Anna's phone beeped. It was none other than Kate and she knew the reason her aunt had sent her a text.
