Noah had not read or responded to her text which had her wondering what was wrong. He usually doesn't waste any time to respond to her no matter how busy he is.
"Come Anna, we can't stay in the car all day." Beth called for her and she bit her lips. Oh today's going to be the worst day for her. She didn't know if she should come clean to her sister in law or do it before the entire family. Yes they'll be mad at her, but she'll have to blame her silly husband more.
Noah is solely responsible for the lies and deciet. After all, it was his idea in the first place. She was willing to tell them the truth, but he refused, and now he is not here to defend her or stand up for her.
Biting her inner cheek, Anna stepped out of the car. She would have to come up with a plan out of the his mess sooner or later, but for now, she knew she had to comply with whatever the demand may be. She couldn't expose herself like this. This was truly a disaster.
"Come Anna, we're already late for the appointment. Mother is already so furious." Beth said as she watched her sister in law step out of the car. She couldn't hide her excitement knowing what gender the baby is going to be. This was Noah's first seed, unlike the other pregnancy where she wasn't really involved, for this child, she was ready to give her all.
She would love and nurture the baby like hers. She would give to Noah's child all of the love she should have given to his father. She knows she owes Noah a lot. A lot of apology for the way she has acted these past few months. Her attitude has been so uncalled for and she was deeply sorry for it.
"Anna, what gender do you think it is. A boy, or a girl?" Beth asked as they both walked into the large building. She couldn't believe she would be an aunty soon.
"I don't mind any. I love all genders." Anna said calmly. She hasn't thought of what gender of baby she would need since she wasn't pregnant but now Beth had brought it up. She would really love to have a son that would look just like Noah. She would love to have little Noah's in her mansion, and then she would also love to have her mini her.
A daughter she could play dress up with and try all of her crazy fashion ideas with. It would be the most beautiful thing. Anna had no idea she was smiling and say dreaming again until a familiar voice broke her out of her daze.
"What took you so long?" Noah asked staring at his wife. He was standing with his family. His mother, father and grandfather. They have all already arrived.
Anna couldn't believe it. Noah was already here? But he said he would be too busy to attend. Is this part of his plan to keep hiding the lies? They couldn't go on like this, it's time they told the truth once and for all.
"You're here?" Anna asked.
"I couldn't miss my babies reveal doe anything in the world. Didn't you receive my text?" He took her hands in his life it's the most precious thing in the world as he pressed his lips on it. Anna blushed in embarrassment. This man, he just knows how to make her flutter every damn time.
Though she was still very much confused as to what his actual plan was. Only the two of them knew she wasn't pregnant and that they have been decieving his family all this while, was he willing to continue with the lies?
Why was Noah lying to everyone?
"I'm glad you're finally here?" Vincent said. They have all been waiting for Anna's arrival excitedly, waiting patiently for the moment where they would get to finally do the gender reveal. This was a massive celebration in the Declan family. Evelyn had already started planning out a massive baby shower for Anna. It would be one for the books.
When they're done with the gender reveal, or would be Noah's turn to finally tell the world Anna was his wife. There would be no need trying to hide her or their business anymore. Anna is a member of their family, it's best the world knows about it. The news about it, was long overdue.
"Let's get to it." Lionel said as they stepped into the doctors office.
"Is she here?" Anna was greeted by a massive office with large desk and chair and a small man seated just on the chair. She hasn't expected the doctor would be this small, but that was the least of her worry. Right now, she needed a little alone time with Noah. She was tired of trying to decieve his family. She has no idea what games he's trying to play, but it was time to stop.
Just how long will they continue. Plus, the lies are all useless now.
"Welcome miss Declan, I've been waiting to see you. I'm doctor Chinchillas." The doctor introduced himself and he smiled.
"What a full house." He complimented and Evelyn smiled. They were all just excited for Anna's first scan and baby reveal, no member of the family wanted to miss this for anything.
Thought things like this was supposed to be between Anna and Noah first before anyone else, Evelyn had just been too excited.
"Shall we go to the ultrasound room. There's no need waiting since the patient is already here?" Anna could feel her heart summersault for the hundred times in her chest.
