Since they both shared the same interest, it was easy to convince her to do her did. Kate had everything planned. She would do every trick in the book to get Anna out. Her neice will not know where it hit her, but before she knows it, she'll be gone for good.
The Declan mansion was bustling with servants moving in and out of the mansion as always. It was early in the morning and they all had their duties to do before the owners of the home wakes up. Roseline stepped out of her car quietly as she stared at the large mansion before her.
She had wanted to speak to her dear friend Kate, in hope that she would listen. The Sui's girl her nephew was married to us bad news. Since her arrival, Anna has brought nothing but shame to their family name. Roseline was so sure Evelyn would agree with her demand, especially after everything her daughter Elizabeth just went through in the hands of Noah.
No mother loves a woman who has such power to turn their son against their family. She would have to talk some sense into her dear friend, to reconsider accepting Anna into their family.
"Good morning madam Roseline." The butler greeted taking the women's coat and bag in his hands. He was shocked to see her come here this early, it means the matter at hand must be serious.
The family had been busy since Beth's return. Their young miss has barely left her room because of shame, and there have been rumors going on in the higher ups about her. Which is the reason Evelyn decided to throw a birthday bouquet to shut some mouths.
"Where is Evelyn?" Roseline asked the man.
"She'll be out for breakfast soon. Please join the rest of the family in the dining room." Roseline raised her hands to stop him. She wasn't here to eat anything, besides she had already had something to eat. She had limited time and wanted to discuss business with Evelyn before the news start flying as Kate had promised.
They are all out to get rid of Anna. She couldn't believe that girl had made Noah destroy her son's marriage not once but twice. It was time to pay Anna back for her deeds.
"That won't be necessary, I'll be in the waiting room waiting for her. Just tell her I'm around." The butler nodded.
"I'll get you refreshments then." He announced and left the room. After a few moments, two maids walked back into the room, one holding a tray of two glasses and juice. And the other carried a tray of fruit and Roseline smiled. She knew Evelyn was here.
"Rosey my dear." Evelyn walked in with the brightest smile. When her butler had informed her about her dear friends arrival, she had thought it was a joke. But then her workers never play such way with her because they know they could lose their jobs in seconds.
She wondered what had brought Roseline to her mansion this early.
"Evelyn, you look so good." Roseline got up and hugged her friend.
"I had no idea you would visit today, I would have asked the maids to prepare your favorite breakfast." Evelyn said. She and Roseline have been close for as long as she remembers. She knew almost everything about the woman as Rose did her. But only one person had big mouth, and it was Rose.
"I heard what happened to Beth and decided to come visit myself. How is she doing?" The topic about Beth was a sensitive one for Evelyn which is the reason she was planning to clear the air soonest. She was tired of all of the gossip and rumors tarnishing her image and that of her family.
One thing Evelyn would always protect is her family. She loved when secrets remain in the family and it had been her fault that the news about her daughter got out in the first place. If she had just kept on talking to her so and didn't try to double cross him when he locked Beth up, no one would know about it.
"She's perfectly fine Rose." Evelyn smiled.
"Oh that Anna. How does she sleep at night knowing she is the cause of this?" Rose started with the reason she was here. To tarnish Anna's image and convince her friend to kick her out. Everyone knows Evelyn Declan controls her family and everything in it. Once the control is poisoned, the family can no longer function as much as before again. If Rose can make Evelyn hate Anna, then she's convinced that girl will be out of here.
"It wasn't entirely her fault. It was all Beth, she should never have tried to harm her brother." Evelyn said waving it off like it was nothing. Her daughter in law had nothing wrong. Anna had no idea Noah had arrested his sister that day because she had been with her through the night.
Rose laughed out loud as she watched the maids pour out the juice into her glass and she took a sip. "Evelyn dear, I know all you want is peace and you're tired of the constant fights and quarrels. But that is no reason to lie to yourself, the evidence is right in front of you." Roseline started.
"I have witnessed what Anna is. Since she arrived in your mansion..."
"Anna did nothing." Evelyn's words were firm. Her daughter in law had done nothing wrong. She didn't know how many times she had to repeat the same thing over and over again to everyone.
It wasn't Anna's fault, if Beth hadn't been too conniving with thet stupid Cara girl, she would never have gotten herself into trouble with her brother.
