Chapter 355 NEVER 1

Anna read through the post Lola kept sending for her. The only messages Lola sent where serious ones and unfortunately, all of the speculations about Anna were serious. The news of her childlessness and the royal family doing her a favour were all out. And to make matters worse, the news about the Declan's cutting ties with her was already publicized too.

The Declan's never make official statement on amy of their social media accounts unless it's important. Seeing the messages from them was eyesore.

Anna sent a text to Lola immediately. "How did things get like this?" She asked.

"We have no idea, I woke up this morning to this news. What am I hearing about your marriage to the royal family, is that true?" Lola asked and Anna sighed.

"Did you really dump Mr Declan? Oh ma'am this is not looking good for you or any of us. If this continues like this, we might go into oblivion." Lola texted. She was thinking this is all Noah's doing, it should be the reason the news kept coming and no matter what they did to stop it wasn't working at all.

It was just too much. The accusations were too much on Anna.

"Apparently my family are behind this not Noah." She confessed. It was he aunt and cousin. She really didn't know what to do with this two. She has endured their bullshits for years and have let them step on her however they wanted. She couldn't take it anymore. Once bitten twice shy.

"I and Noah are perfectly fine. I doubt he's even aware of this." Anna sent the last text before her cellphone was snatched by Nari. Luckily for Anna, Nari had accidentally turned it off due to the force she used in snatching the phone so she couldn't see anything in the phone.

Anna knew these tricks all too well. It has happened to her before, three years ago before her career was tarnished, news like these kept spreading everywhere about her. There were so many speculations going around and all wasn't true, but whoever was pushing it had made it seem like a legit news.

This is Nari's oldest trick in the books and Anna was well familiar with it. Everything is not always as it seems to these people. They're the biggest manipulators.

"What else do I have to say? Give me back my cellphone." Anna said to her.

"Oh so suddenly, you have nothing to say anymore. I thought you had big mouth before and called us liars?" Nari asked staring at the girl who seemed unfazed with everything going on. Anna's confidence is what irks her the most. She would do anything to watch this girl breakdown before her. Just like she did two years ago.

"The news online are mere speculations planted by you two. You don't fool me." Anna laughed. "Not to worry, I'm perfectly fine and my life is, everything would be resolved with time."

"And how will you do that Anna?" Nari mocked. "Hosting one of your numerous press conferences? Oh wait, running back to your sugar daddy to help you out this time?" Nari laughed. "We both know he won't cause you two are over." She added with confidence.

If Noah and Anna are still together, he would have been here by now with everything going on. Infact Noah would never let his wife visit them alone.

"Aww, poor baby. The news online seems true to me." Nari took a step close to her cousin, while she swung her cellphone in her hands.

"There's a way out." She whispered next to Anna. "Everything will go like it never existed if you release Mack from wherever you kept him." Nari said casually. She smiled victoriously thinking she has Anna covered. If only she knows her little threat was like pouring water on a rock.

Anna only smirked. These people really don't know who she is do they. Did Nari think her little threat could do anything to her?

"And if I don't?" Anna asked. She knows how desperate Nari was to get Mack back. Speculations were already going on about them, the clock was ticking and if she doesn't provide Mack quickly, she might lose her contract with JK.

No matter how much Kate has invested in the company, they are more than willing now to cut ties with Nari. To them, she wasn't doing anything for the company, she has rather caused more trouble the last few months than the coin she made for them. They felt like she is useless and have now come to a conclusion that not everyone can turn nagative press into their favour.

Anna is a born star, that is why she made all of it seems so easy when in truth, it is the hardest thing to do.

Nari frowned at Anna's words. She raised her hands immediately to hit Anna but Anna was quick this time and held her wrist. She pushed Nari's hands away and slapped her herself. The slap resounding in her brain.

"How dare you!!" Kate couldn't hide behind her victim mask anymore as she walked up to Anna.

"You ungrateful child, haven't caused so much pain to us already?" Kate raised her hands to slap her neice, but before she did, Anna caught her wrist again and pushed her aside. She wasn't the little girl her aunt could slap and step on anymore.

"You should have all of these energy for your daughter and her failed marriage." Anna said.

"I will never let Mack go, unless she's willing to pay the price for it." Anna picked her cellphone from the floor and turned it on. Lola had already sent a whole lot of messages, but the one that caught her eyes was the part where she said, someone had hacked into all of the accounts and posted those vile things about Anna.

The people who posted them were now debunking the news one after another. Clearing Anna's name and apologizing for the damages caused. Anna smiled at this.

"You have two hours to return the dowry aunt Kate. Else you'll face the wrath of the royal family." Anna warned.

"I wouldn't want that if I were you." She started leaving. Her mission there was done. When she reached her car, she got in and sat next to her hubby.

"How did your mission go?" Noah asked her and she smiled. "It went great sugar." She said. Noah took her hands in his as he pressed his warm fingers on her palm, "It sure did." He massaged the redness still lingering from the slap she gave Nari.
