If Damien didn't plead for Anna to be accepted again, they would have never accepted her back. The embarrassment the Declan's caused them was too much.
"Her family called last night asking if the offer of her being married to Dalton was still open." Elizabeth explained.
"And what did you say?" Raven asked his wife. She couldn't have accepted Anna after everything Noah made them do could she.
"Your son accepted immediately." Elizabeth said and Raven frowned.
"How could you do such Damien, you can never love a woman that much. Loving a woman that much is like digging a grave for yourself." He spat at his son. He couldn't understand Damien's obsession with the girl, she's used and not pure anymore. There are so many other woman in this world to chose from, what does it have to be Anna Sui?
"It's my choice. You both wanted me married and now, I want to get married." Damien said. Anna had treated him so nicely that day without realizing who he was or what he does. She has a special touch to his heart. He had fallen in love with her at first glance, and even after finding out she has been dumped and can no longer bare a child, he still wanted to be with her.
They could always figure out many ways of having children. Children aren't really the ultimate in relationships, men like his cousin will never understand. He would make sure Noah regrets hurting Anna Sui.
"She cannot even bare a child." Elizabeth added even if she had just condemned other for the same thing. It is in everyone to condemn barren women whether you agree with the society or not. A woman who can never bare a child will always be seen as useless. And Kate had exposed Anna to the royal family, because of Anna's inability to have a child, they had sent half of the dowry rather than the whole thing.
Kate pleaded with them to help her uplift Anna's shame and that she didn't want the world to know that her neice can never bare a child.
"You're willing to marry a barren woman Damien? This is so unacceptable." Raven barked. He would have considered a decent wedding since the said girl wasn't pure anymore, but hearing she couldn't have a child.
Why else would people be getting married if not for children? Everyone knows marriage was about building a family and expanding lineage.
"There are other ways to have children. I can have as many concubines as I want. So many women would want to have my children, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't marry who I want. Anna will be my wife and it's final." Damien declared.
"You..." Raven was distracted by the ring of his phone. When he checked the caller, his eyes turned wide immediately. He contemplated whether to answer the call or not. Why was Noah suddenly calling him, has he finally decided to give him the seal?
"Who's that, pick up your call honey." Elizabeth said to her husband who smiled at her words. He gulped as he stared at the ringing phone. The reason he was nervous was because he had already told his wife he has cut all ties with Noah Declan since the seal incident. What they didn't know was that both men kept talking because of the important business Noah helped them with while he kept his sister.
He has gained a lot from just speaking with Noah, he couldn't just cut such man off. Yes he may be an asshole, but Noah was a business lord.
"H... Hello." Raven voice was heard from the other end.
"You promised me your son and wife will never bother my wife anymore as I won't to you all." Noah said as he watched his wife walk into her family mansion. He had told her to talk to her family even if he knows her talking to them would do nothing.
He just wanted to buy more time to talk to king Raven himself.
"Wife?" Raven asked, shocked my Noah's words. He was confused because whatever Dalton and his wife had said just now was totally different from what Noah was asking.
"Are you playing games with me Raven. Do you want your sweet wife to know about your little dealings?" Noah threatened.
"No that's not it. It's just that... Just now I heard that you already dumped her, that is why Damien decided to ask for her hands in marriage." Noah smiled. He knew the seal was fake and all Kate's ploy all along.
"We're not divorced yet. I'll never divorce my wife and I need a little favour from you." Noah said with a smile.
"Anything for you." Raven said.
"Who's that?" Elizabeth asked as her husband hung up. Raven maintained a stoic expression as he walked away. He would never let his wife know about his plans with Noah, even if it makes them fight daily.
Noah made another call to Paul immediately. "I need all of the Sui's account to crash right now, including my wife's accounts." Noah said. He had crashed Anna's so that she wouldn't have to help her family while he punished them. He would give Kate a taste of her own medicine while he also pretends like he knows nothing about it.
He smiled at his plans already.
"But sir..." Paul paused, shocked at his boss's words too. He has never asked for his wife's account to be locked, were they fighting? What was he planning this time?
The divorce circulating around was it true? Did Noah want to really cut ties with the Sui's for good?
There was news already flying around, about Anna getting married to the prince of Crownsville, is that true.
The news was flying around because Elizabeth didn't stop the publicists from publishing the news when Raven arrived and the man just went on with whatever she had said before.
