She couldn't believe she had fallen for their tricks over and over again. If Noah hadn't already found out about the truth, she would have blindly followed whatever it was they had planned for her. The fact Kate would try to harm her Aunt Grace and grandfather, Anna couldn't imagine what they could do to her.
Anna wished more than anyone to confront her, but she couldn't. Not yet. She has no evidence against her. It was the word of Bean against the owner of the mansion, no one would believe her. Plus she knows how much her aunt love to twist people's words. She'll only cause problems for herself and Noah. Accusing Kate would be the dumbest decision.
"Welcome miss Anna." Collin greeted. He turned back to the car that was still parked in it's position as if looking for someone. It is because his madam had told him Anna wasn't alone and that she would come with someone.
Kate had expected to see Noah arrive all angry and mad ready to confront her. She wanted to see him breakdown before her. She would love for nothing than see the man protecting her neice crumble before her. She knows the only way she can get to Noah is by hurting his wife, that is why she was doing everything to destroy her neice.
"Are you alone?" Collin asked to be sure and Anna nodded.
"Yes, where's my Aunt?" She smiled trying to sound friendly. She would take this as another movie practice she has for her upcoming role. The audition starts next week, she might have all of the influence to be a lead but if she's not good enough, she would never get the lead role. The producers might just put her in the movie to gain traffic as always.
"Anna." Nari called immediately rushing out of the mansion. She acted all shocked to see Anna return even if she already knew and was waiting for the drama at hand. Before Anna arrived, Kate had already told her about what she had done. She had even been present when her new mother shamelessly lied to the royal family, begging them to accept her neice. It was a shameful act, but she would accept anything, as long as Anna is embarrassed.
"What are you doing here this early?" Nari peeked around but could not find anyone. There was no sign of Noah anywhere, not in any part of the mansion. He should be here. Kate had really tried to play him this time, he should be here ranting and threatening them and then they'll make him look like a fool.
"To see Aunt Kate, she must not be feeling well after everything yesterday. Did the detective arrive already, he promised to be here. Infact I came here this early to speak to him personally. I might have an idea of where aunt Grace and grandpa would be." Anna said, dodging from whatever Nari wanted to here.
Nari stared at Anna with narrowed eyes. This is suspicious. Has she not seen the news speculating everywhere? This time is wasn't from any useless blog, but the royal family have declared it themselves. Their publicist had already announced the marriage of Anna Sui and the prince of Crownsville.
The internet was already in shambles as shippers had already began shopping them. With everything happening around the Sui's, this news was a good distraction, but it would leave a bad image on Anna's career as a whole. If she eventually claim the news to be false, it would make the royal family look stupid, because the information came directly from them.
Nari stared at the girl she had been trying her hardest to humble and break for the longest now. She couldn't believe how composed Anna was with everything happening.
"Aunt Kate is fine. But I don't think she would want to see you today." Nari confessed innocently. It's alright if Anna has no idea about anything happening on the internet. She would be more than happy to tell her about it.
"Why not?" Anna asked so innocently too.
"Haven't you seen the news Anna? You're married to Noah yet you go behind his back to have an affair." This is what she had practiced to say before Noah, so that she could spoil his heart against Anna. Nari felt like if she managed to convince Noah that his wife doesn't love him, she would be able to weaken his love for her and maybe create mistrust between them.
But she had no idea, the couple she was dealing weren't an ordinary couple. They're partners in crime. Two broken souls who found solace in each other's embrace and have come to fall in love.
Noah and Anna are forever inseparable. One cannot exist without the other. They complete each other perfectly.
"After everything Noah has done for you Anna. After everything he had given you. Even if he knows you can't have a child, he still choose to be with you." At some point Anna thought Nari had seen Noah to be speaking like this,but their car had to ted glasses. No one can see whoever's in the car.
"What are you talking about Nari. I and Noah have no issues whatsoever. He had been the one that had asked me to visit today." Anna confessed seeing the rigid look on Nari's face which was quickly hidden.
Did Noah not see the news too?
This people, they were changing the script both her and Kate had meticulously crafted all night waiting for the opportunity to destroy and ridicule Anna. She should have used this news to hurt her pride and make her insecure while acting like they care. But if Anna's doesn't know what she's talking about, how does she even hurt her?"
