"They don't have to say anything at this point sweet heart. And I found out that they didn't actually leave the country." Anna's face lit up immediately. Her aunt Grace had talked about Grace and her grandfather leaving the country and how it would be difficult to find them.
But hearing that they didn't leave in the first place, made her relax a little. Then she thought of something else. If they didn't leave the country,what vacation did they go for? She turned to Noah and the look on his face said everything she needed to know.
Anna shook her head in denial.
"I found out the day before the everyone did. Bean called me, but I couldn't find where they had taken them to." Noah confessed. He knew all along, he knew her aunt and Grandfather had been kidnapped.
"But why would she do that?" She asked still unable to believe anything. She had foolishly fallen for her aunt's tricks time and time again, making them take her as a fool. She had eaten and dined with the enemies tonight.
How could she have forgotten how sly and evil her aunt Kate could be? The woman was very calculative with everything she does.
"Your inheritance seems to be very important to her. Taking Grace and your grandfather out seems to be the first step before getting to you. Maybe." Noah shrugged.
"She'll never see a dime from me. Two can actually play her games perfectly." Anna declared and Noah smiled. He should have known his wife was more than just pretty face and perfect body. He has forgotten so soon the reason he had fallen for her.
"My mother is hosting a party next week for Beth's birthday party, it's compulsory we attend." Noah announced.
"That's not an issue, I'll shop for us both." Anna said as their car accelerated calmly through the city. This life, her life, it was filled with so much trouble that sometimes, she wonders when all of it will ever be over.
She had no idea why she had so much enemies for doing nothing. While the world fought her, her family fought her too. Sometimes it's exhausting, but she knew she needs to be strong for herself.
When both people arrived back at home, Noah didn't let his wife's feet touch the floor as he carried in bridal style into the mansion. She has been through a lot today and now, it was his turn to make her forget the world and focus on just him.
"Noah." Anna called when he kissed her before the maids who stepped out to welcome them. The servants couldn't hide their reaction as everyone tried to avoid their master and madam's affection. They should have gotten used to it by now, but they weren't.
"Hmm." Noah responded as he threw his bag to Lurch who was ready to collect it. After collecting whatever he wanted from his boss, he sent all of the maids out of the mansion and to the maid quarters to give his master and madam the time they need alone.
"You can't do this in front of them." Anna whispered.
"Do what, kiss my wife?" Noah asked teasingly and she blushed. He sat on the couch and placed her on his legs, then he started taking out her shoes.
"We can go to the bedroom." Anna suggested looking around. There could be maids around and this shameless man was hellbent on embarrassing her tonight. Once he starts, there's no going back with him. He would never stop until she completely lost all of her strength.
"It's too far." He whispered on her neck, his hot breath fanning her skin made her shudder. Was he planning on having sex with her in their lounge? With a few maids still moving around?
Anna panicked immediately. She would want anyone seeing the kind of abomination they always commit while they're together. She'll never forgive herself if such happens.
"People might see us." Anna bit her lips when his tongue touched her skin again. She couldn't remember the last time she's felt Noah touch her this way. His action was only rekindling the fire in my body as her entire body lit up immediately. She's missed him and his touch, Noah giving her a little space, made her feel like he didn't want her anymore or was no longer attracted to her anymore.
But she had been wrong.
"You don't know how long I've wanted you my sweet girl." Noah moved down to her already perking mounds longing for his affection once again. At this rate, Anna had forgotten all about the maids and servants in the mansion. She just wanted to be touched by her husband.
Her elegant fingers searched for him and when they found him, they roamed around his body. Noah's hands searched for her too. In the now empty room where they stayed, Anna could feel her zipper roll down her back and in the next second, her dress had slipped all the way down from her shoulders.
"Come my sweet girl, let me remind you how much I love and treasure you." At his words, Noah sealed their lips together, stealing all of her breaths away. Anna was consumed by desire and passion that the next time she was conscious again, she was lying on a soft surface in their room.
The sun bathed her face with a captivating warmness as the wind moved the curtains every now and then. She opened her blue eyes to the now quiet room, it was morning already, how long did she sleep.
As she sat up, she recalled everything from last night. Noah made her pass out many times as they had sex in the lounge. There wasn't a place he didn't lay her in there. One moment they were on the couch and the next the table, other times... She had lost count after the first three orgasms.
She smiled, biting her lower lips. She had no idea how much they destroyed, but she was sure she heard so many bottles breaking. That's how wild they had gotten.
"Good morning my sweet girl." She lifted her head to see her hubby smiling down at her. He was all dressed and ready for work, holding a cup of tea in his hands.
"Good morning sugar." She responded bashly, still unable to look at him fully. She never thought there would be a time in her life where she would go wild and crazy like last night.
"How was your night?" Noah asked.
"Perfect, your's?" She asked back trying to mask her embarrassment with boldness as she got out of bed.
"Ashley and his crew are here to see you. Do you have work today?" He asked sipping his tea.
"Not that I know of." After everything that happened yesterday, Anna could barely check her schedule for the day. She knew they would send her something, but she didn't have the time to check it.
"I should speak to them." She hurried inside the bathroom to freshen up and then speak to them.
When Anna was done preparing, she hurried to the lounge, surprised to see everything still intact. It's almost like they had done nothing, but she was sure they broke a lot.
"Good morning madam." Lurch greeted as always.
"Good morning Lurch." Anna responded trying to get her mind off a few things. Who knows, maybe she's imagining things again.
"You have your usual visitors." He turned to Ashley and his crew who eyed him. They hated the butler because he was so strict around them. This is not the first time they were coming here, yet every single time, Lurch treats them like complete strangers.
"I can see that." Anna responded and the butler bowed and walked away.
"Good morning Madam Declan." Ashley teased walking up to his boss. He was excited to see her smart and happy today, with everything going on in the news about the Sui's, he loved that she was still very much happy.
"What are you doing here?" Anna asked. She couldn't remember them telling her about anything today.
"We're here to prepare you for the official announcement post Lola talked about. Didn't you receive a message from her?" Ashley asked.
"What post?" Anna asked.
"Your family released a statement yesterday about your grandfather and Aunt being kidnapped and it has caused an uproar online. Why did they do that knowing you're a public figure?" He asked. Things like this should be kept hidden for a while, them exposing such information could place her aunt or grandfather in more trouble. But Anna didn't care. She knows the full story of what had happened.
Kate is the master mind behind everything.
As Anna spoke to Ashley and her team, Lurch delivered the letter they received early this morning, with a royal seal. Since it was royalty, he felt like it was for his boss. He handed the letter to Noah who was just about to leave for work, before walking away.
Noah took the letter and broke the seal from it.
"Order from the royal palace. You have 24hours to release the prince's wife."
