"I'm sorry." Anna quickly said admist her cries.
"Did you tell them about your recovery?" Anna nodded. She didn't mean to. Maybe visiting Janie was really a bad idea, but how would she know she was now barren?
How would she know she can no longer have a child ever again.
Maybe that's the reason Noah no longer loves her and the only reason he's keeping her around is because he pities her. She was his wife who was once pregnant for him, but how long will he endure?
Noah and his family has done so much for her, and she just cannot pay them back this way. She is basically useless right now. She has caused so much trouble to the Declan's since her arrival. Evelyn probably hates her so much now.
"I didn't mean to. The words just came out." Anna explained.
"I told you not to visit or let anyone know about it but you didn't listen." Noah was furious but Anna is one person that he couldn't stay mad at. He just didn't want anyone to know about her recovery just yet, not when they haven't yet figure out who had tried to kill her that day.
It is obvious whoever had pushed her down had tried to kill her, but his child had died instead.
"Don't hate me Noah, I promise never to bother you again." He stared at her, wondering what she was talking about. He was worried about her safety and here she is thinking of him hating her. Why will he ever hate her?
"I'm angry at you. But I don't hate you, why would you think that?" Noah asked clicking his tongue in irritation.
"Because you're raising your voice at me." Anna could barely meet his gaze. For the first time in her life she felt worthless. She felt useless. Maybe it's best they both go their seperate ways, she would stay away from the internet and away from the Declan. That way she would not cause so much trouble anymore.
"I'm sorry." Noah quickly apologized keeping his emotions at bail. He was angry at her for not listening to him, a little punishment from him wouldn't be too much would it? He has spoilt his wife so much and now she thinks him correcting her is him raising his voice at her. He stared at her, her eyes were already swollen from crying.
He hadn't even said anything to warrant such act from her. What happened to the bossy Anna Sui? The one who destroyed people's career like he heard?
"No need to apologize, I've learnt my lesson." Anna said. "I want a divorce Noah, we're not compatible for each other anymore."

Kate was yet to get herself ever since Anna's confession of remembering a few things that happened that night. That couldn't be, the report she got from the doctor was that she had damaged a few part of her brain and will never be able to remember anything ever again.
She was so sure her neice will never remember anything that happened anymore, but after this mornings confession, Kate was beginning to doubt everything she thought she knew. She didn't know what to believe anymore.
Anna couldn't just remember everything, she had been the one to assign the nurse that almost killed Anna. The nurse had been foolish herself, rather than giving Anna the right drugs, she gave her one that would help her recover quickly.
Thouvh the foolish nurse no longer exist, she still wanted to kill her over and over again for destroying her plans. If everything had worked back then, it would have saved her the trouble of Anna being around now. That little mistake changed the hands of time and everything they planned.
Even if Anna was blaming herself now for her child's death, it is only a matter of time before she remembers everything that had happened. If she does remember, both Nari and the Shen's will be doomed. This is a secret they have all struggled to keep away from everyone, yet for some reason it still keeps coming back to hunt them.
"You must really be ashamed of your neice Kate." Roseline asked staring at the woman. Noah's presence had made them all loose their appetite and now they were all gathered in the lounge, everyone still shocked at Anna's confession.
Roseline has never hated anyone as much as she did to Anna now. Having a little detail of what had happened, she didn't like the girl, especially with the other things she's heard about Anna.
"I had no idea she would do something of such. But we must all remember she lost her memory that's why she's apologizing now." Kate came to her neice's defence. Shen who was seated with his wife at a corner narrowed his eyes at the woman. What other games was she playing this time? Was she saving face before this people?
She knows the Declan's have no idea of the truth, was she trying to play another game? She sighed. Kate is just an impossible woman. So cunning and difficult. You never what's going through her head, yet she's so dumb.
"After everything Anna has done to you mother, you still speak so good of her." Nari added, understanding her mother's game immediately. They say braids of the same feathers always flock together.
"What can I do Nari, she's my neice and her father entrusted her to me. Though she acts exactly like her mother, I cannot hate her." Kate said. The only reason she hated Anna's mother was because she isn't the woman she wanted for her brother.
Her brother had fallen in love with a nobody and had married a nobody.
"What a good girl, you would have been the best option for Noah, had he not found that girl first." Rose took a sip of her tea.
"I should speak to Janjan, she really needs someone to talk to.

After putting his wife to bed, Chalamet left crying Janie in the room as he joined the others in the lounge. Somehow, he had gotten involved in the mess Shen had placed themselves in. That is the main reason he didn't want Anna close to his wife again. Anna coming close to any of them will make her remember everything that happened that night.
It's just frustrating to see that Noah had been right all along. He couldn't begin to imagine what his cousin would do if he eventually finds out the truth.
Janjan on the other hands was still hurting from her friends words, she didn't like the way her family humiliated Anna. If what Roseline had said about Anna never being able to have a child is true, then she felt sorry for her. She could recall how both of them had talked about their future and about having children at the same time.
Janjan wanted to have that future with Anna, but with how everything was going, she doubts such future will ever come. She misses her friend. Even if no one saw the hurt in Anna's eyes when she spoke, she saw it. She had been with Anna long enough to know when she's hurting and when she isn't and Anna had been hurt today.
She laid with her back on the bed as she tried to pull herself together. She had lost her child too so she knows what it feels like to lose a child. But Anna's case was different, she doesn't remember what it feels like. She had lost her memory that night after the accident.
"Do you think it's safe, the girl is beginning to recover her memory." Mia asked Kate when Roseline and her husband left the lounge. She had thought about it too. She was scared herself.
"I don't think it's anything to worry about. She will never remember anything." Shen cut them off immediately. He had also spoken to the doctor back then and the man said it was humanly impossible for Anna to regain her memory. Her recalling anything last week was just luck.
"But she remembered a little thing even if we had changed the entire mansion, now imagine what more she would have remembered if we hadn't." Mia but her lower lips, if she wasn't involved she wouldn't have bothered.
"She's right, what do we do if she remembers anything?" Kate asked.
"Leave matters for me, I'll handle Anna this time, you've done more than enough Kate." Shen said. He had the money, power and Influence now to deal with anyone. Anna is just a piece of cake compared to him. Eliminating her wouldn't be a big deal, he'll just have to figure out a way to deal with Noah when he's done.
