They had supported Anna, but hearing everything Anna was from the Shens, she has had a second thought about the girl.
And to think she's the reason Noah Declan even hurt his little sister.
The news was all over the higher class people in Summerlane. Everyone saw Anna as a bad wife and daughter. She had no idea why Evelyn should have kicked her out of her family by now. She would have to discuss matters like this with her friend.

"We did nothing aunt Kate. When will you let that subject go? If we did anything Noah will never return our money back after months of punishment." Janjan barked as she held her stomach.
"The boldness of you to show your face here Anna after all of the accusations. Did you come to mock me for losing a child too? When will you and your husband leave us alone?" She yelled and Anna's eyes went wide. Janjan was pregnant?
"We didn't kill your child. I was your best friend yet I had no idea you were pregnant, you couldn't even say anything to me."

"There is no bad influence Kate, your neice is equally as heartless as her husband." Mia said with a frown.

"Do you have an idea how difficult it was for us, especially for my baby? You almost killed my child Anna because of your wickedness. You locked your aunt and cousin out of spite and locked Janjan up too on her wedding day." Mia accused. She remembered that day like the back of her hands.

Kate and Nari who had been quiet till this moment suddenly turned surprised at Roseline's words. Anna couldn't have a child, how did she know?

"Have a child you say. Don't tell me no one has told you. You're barren Anna, your overprotective husband didn't tell you?" She mocked.
"What are you talking about Rose. I would appreciate anything, but my family has never been known to be infertile." Kate defended her neice even if she is the happiest person in the room. Nari couldn't stop smiling stylishly too.
"Yes mother that's a very strong accusation." Chalamet finally said something after staying silent and watching his family tear Anna down.
"How funny can life be, the same girl who had caused my family so much pain is barren. You can as well kiss your marriage good bye." Shen laughed.
"What accusations Chalamet, Evelyn told me herself. She cried to me that day, telling me how the accident Anna framed has caused her her other children." Rose said.
"What good is a woman without a child." Mia chimed in.
"That is impossible." Kate exclaimed. Anna tried to maintain the calm composure she had walked in with, even if her mind was a rollercoaster right now. Noah knows she couldn't have a child anymore, is that why he has refused to give her one when she asked.
He knew she couldn't have a child anymore. Anna blinked to stop tears from falling more, this is the worst way to hear something like this, there's no way this people wouldn't spread rumors like this around now.
"It wasn't my intention to mock Jan. I had no idea she had a miscarriage." She started, her composure stable, like these people in the room didn't just ridicule her. Nari frowned at this. She had been happy that they had humiliated her, yet here Anna is trying to act like it's normal. She clenched her hands into a fist.
Whatever can she do to break Anna Sui? How does she destroy this girl before her.
"The night I fainted in the mansion, I had a little memory of what had happened that night and I recalled I fell myself. It was all me and not you guys. I'm sorry if Noah had reacted the way he did and accuse you wrongly, any father would do that." Anna said.
"Jan, I bought you a gift. I don't mind if you don't forgive me or if we're never going to be friends again. I deserve whatever treatment you give me from now on. I should never have acted the way I did."
"I should leave now before Noah finds me here." She picked her purse and started walking away. Anna knew if she stayed there one more second, she would crash. Her calmness would crash. The last thing she wanted was cry before all of these people. She would never let them see her pain or tears ever.
Before she could reach the door, it opened wide with Noah standing before her.
Everyone on the table unknowingly stood on their feet at the presence of the man in the room with them. They hadn't expected Noah would come here today.
His face looked deadly. Noah was furious,and it's the first time anger has shown on his face. "Noah." Chalamet called.
"Did you think I wouldn't find out?" He spoke calmly to his wife, ignoring the call from his cousin. Before she could say anything, he held her hands and dragged her out of the dining room.
