Chapter 330 PEACE MAKING 1

1009words
It was a sunny day and as always Anna was already up in bed as she carried her phone from the bedside table. The internet has been calm for three days now and it seemed somewhat peaceful.

At least there isn't any bad news about her or forged lie which seemed strange. There would have been a certain blog carrying misinformation and lies about her by now and some certain people on the internet would have insulted her by now.

"Good morning Aunt Grace, hope you're fine today." It would also be the third day she was texting her aunt without a response. She would only view her message and never respond which was so unlike her. Grace would always respond to her no matter what and ask about Noah.

"What is it?" Came Noah's voice from where he laid. The last thing she wanted to do was worry him with her problems, but he noticed even without her saying a word to him.

"Nothing. I just texted Aunt Grace and she hasn't responded back." Anna said nonchalantly waving the feelings off like it was nothing. She should not worry too much over nothing, maybe she's in one of her moods or she's probably too busy taking care of her grandfather.

"How long has it been?" Noah asked.

"Three days." Anna said, immediately there was a knock on the door.

"Come Lurch." Noah ordered and the old butler walked in. Anna put on her act immediately and wrapped her arms around her hubby as she hid in the sheets. For this time, she was the pregnant wife being pampered by her billionaire husband.

"Good morning master Noah." Lurch greeted with a small bow. He could see his madam on the arms of his master and he forced himself not to smile. The love between this two is something every couple should take note of. They're unbreakable and they understand each other perfectly.

"What is it Lurch?" Noah asked.

"Madam Evelyn had prepared breakfast this morning and she ask that you two join her for it." Noah stiffened at his words but then he nodded.

"Did she prepare it herself?" He asked and the man nodded. He sighed before saying, "We'll be there shortly." Lurch bowed again and stepped out of the room. Anna was curious to taste what Evelyn's food taste like. She's never heard a woman of such high standard cooks.

"Your mum cooks?" She couldn't hold her question anymore and Noah nodded.

"One time she had the urge to cook for her kids, she hugged 20 world best chefs to write recipes for her to try." Noah rubbed his hands across his chin.

"And...?" Those curious blue eyes met his grey ones. Anna loves his mother more than anything and it is somewhat strange to him. Who loves Evelyn Declan that much aside her family?

"We were turned into her tasters each time she was cooking something. Most dishes were good on good days and on bad days, the bathroom became our second home." Noah said.

"She should be better now." Anna murmured.

"No one knows, it's been years I guess since my father let her step foot in the kitchen." He shrugged.

"Come, let's get you cleaned and ready for breakfast." Noah picked his wife from the bed before she could protest and carried her into the bathroom. After showering, both people got dressed and stepped out of the room. Anna had nothing else to do today except the meeting she had with Lee concerning JK entertainment.

JK entertainment used to be the leading entertainment before Eclipse came in. In other for their entertainment to sky rocket again, they need Anna Sui back again and the only way to get her is threaten her with the previous contract they once signed.

What JK Lee wasn't aware of was that this Anna Sui isn't the one they usually stepped on. She's a changed so much and would not be bullied by anyone again.

Both Anna and Noah stepped out of the room. Anna knew she had to get into her acting again before Noah's family. As always, she's the little pregnant fragile wife who just wants to be pampered by everyone. Noah said if she passed this test he had a special gift for her, she was letting her curiosity get the better at her while at the same time hurting Evelyn and the elders.

"Anna dear." Elder Vincent called when he saw walking down the stairs.

"Good morning grandpa." She poked the elders nose and that alone was enough to make up his day. He has loved Anna from the first day he met her, the first woman that turned his cold hearted grandson into a man with heart. Since then he has treated his granddaughter in law as the most precious thing in the world.

"I wanted us to go out today Anna." Vincent began walking with her as they headed to the dinning room. He has stolen her from the hands of Noah.

Anna couldn't believe one day she would feel this way, but her in-laws treated her like family than her actual family. She couldn't recall the last time she was loved and cared for like this in her family.

It was always something. One little mistake would make Kate yell at her or her grandfather threatening her with her inheritance. Even if Noah had told her from the begining that his family was crazy, they aren't at all. Infact they love each other more than anything in life.

"Where to, I can rearrange my work schedule for the day." Vincent drew out a chair for her to sit which she did. He sat next to her. Noah took the next seat close to his father who was already seated.

"Good morning." He greeted and Lionel responded with a nod.

"Good morning father." Anna greeted. "Morning Anna, how are you feeling today?" Lionel asked. Pregnant women always have the worst mornings, his wife did for his two children, that was why he asked.
