The servants didn't waste anytime to walk up to the general as they carried him out of bed and placed him on his wheel chair. This isn't the general's morning routine. He's meant to be cleaned first, then after that, they would take him around the mansion, especially to his favorite spot, the fields before bring him back for breakfast.
Breakfast is the last thing he always have in the morning.
"Ma'am Nari, the general will not eat that food." A maid tried to explain but the excruciating pain that followed her words made her silent again. She held her chin with her palm as tears welled up in her eyes.
"How dare you challenge my words. You're nothing but a filthy maid, you should stay in your place." Nari yelled. She didn't have her complete sleep because of this old man, no one would have peace today. She was ready for everyone.
After the servants have successfully placed the general on the bed, Nari picked the tray of soup from the table where she placed it before and walked up to him.
"Now listen old man, today is going to be different. You better eat or I hit you with this stick." The maids exchanged glances between themselves. She general wasn't so strong to be treated this way. They had no idea whether to call Grace or not, but Nari will never let them leave the room.
Nari was not going to let him mess her up today again. The general is not a child to not know what he's doing, even if he's in a pitiful state, he is still very aware of what he's doing.
She scooped the hot soup with blowing away the hotness and forced it into his mouth. The soup was too hot for the general to drink and he spilled everything on his body and a little splashed on her too. Nari gritted her teeth in anger. Her wrath has reached it's highest level as she raised the stick immediately and started hitting the general.
"You old fool." She yelled. "I warned you didn't I?" She asked.
"How dare you spill that disgusting soup on me." She hit him again, this time harder than the last and the general screamed for the first time since he returned. A single tear fell from his eyes at the brutality of his adopted granddaughter.
Even if he is unable to speak of do anything he was still so sane to see everything happening. Thoigh he couldn't recall anything from before, he just hate Kate and Nari so much. He had no idea why he wasn't seeing his pretty granddaughter and was seeing this heartless girl.
Everyone called her his grand daughter, but he couldn't recall ever having a granddaughter like this. This person is not a part of their family.
General Sui gritted his teeth and spit on her again admist thee pain he felt. He was trying to fight back. This girl was mistreating him and he wanted to fight back.
His action only angered Nari and she spilled the entire bowl of hot soup on his body. General Sui cried out more, his scream reverberating around the whole mansion, that had Grace and Kate running out of their rooms.
Grace hadn't woken up so early today for some strange reason and waking up now to hear her father's scream made her scared. She wondered who had tried to harm him again, oh they better not do anything to him. She would never let it, not when she's alive and well.
Grace arrived at the general's room to the most devastating scene before her. "What do you think you're doing Nari, how dare you spill this on my father?" Grace's words were heard coming from the general's room as she yelled at the girl before her. She had only arrived in here to see Nari spilling hot soup on the general.
She could see how red his skin has turned. His skin was already spilling and the general was letting out series of painful cries.
Nari didn't say anything to Grace and just started walking away, Grace grabbed the girl by the hair and pulled her to the floor. "You don't walk out on me when I'm talking to you." She barked.
"How dare you spill hot soup on my father?" Grace asked. Grace wasn't pleased seeing her father being treated this way by nobody but a stranger in his own mansion. She was furious, she has never been this angry with anyone before.
As always, Kate came to her daughter's rescue and blocked Grace from harming the girl even more.
"What are you doing Grace, don't you dare raise your hands on my daughter." Kate yelled.
"Did you see what she did to father. He's not in the best condition to be treated that way." Grace yelled back. She walked to where her father weeped profusely to see series of red mark on his soft skin. Kate frowned more. This stupid girl hadn't only spilled hot soup on her father, but she had hit him with something.
"Didn't you see the food he spilled on Nari's body first. This old fool knows what he's doing, he has been doing this on purpose for a week now." Kate defended her daughter. Everytime Nari tries to feed him or get close to him, he would spill his food on her. They were both tired of this.
"Father isn't dumb to treat her that way without a cause. She must have done something to trigger that." Grace defended her father. She feeds him all the time and never has he spilled food on her.
The servants who had seen everything with their eyes agreed to Grace's words with a nod. They all didn't like the way Nari had treated the general, if she knows she couldn't handle the general she would have left him for Grace or them.
