Chapter 326 TRUE COLOURS 1

Everyone was happy Grace was back to help, especially the maids and servants, except one person. Now standing before a room door is Kate who had a tray of food in her hands. She had woken up so early today to beat Grace to whatever she was doing.
Kate hadn't had the time to go one with her plans because of her sister. If Grace hadn't returned, the general will be dead by now. She would make sure of it.
Kate had let her do whatever at the begining thinking she would give up in a week or so, but Grace didn't. She has been consistent, stopping them or anyone from taking care of the general and his health seems to be improving so much.
Kate walked into the room, her eyes falling on the sleeping girl on the table. She wanted her plans to go through, anything to destroy Grace and lock her up. She needs Grace to be as far away from the family as possible to be able to deal with Anna.
"Nari." Kate's voice rang in the silent air as she woke the girl up but Nari turned to the side without responding. One thing she hated was anyone disturbing her beauty sleep.
"Nari." Kate called eagerly her tap getting more firm than the last and Nari was up in no time. She stretched the sleep away as she sat up. She wanted to yell at whoever had disturbed her beauty sleep but when she saw Kate, she relaxed a little.
"Mother." Nari called like an innocent child, but she still had a frown on her face.
"Run to father's room and feed him first today." Kate said to her passing a tray of porridge to her. Nari frowned more.
She couldn't believe she had disturbed her sleep for that useless old man. There are maids in the mansion. She wasn't a maid.
She had been happy the task assigned by her mother to feed the general will be out of her hands since Grace returned, but seeing Kate wake her up so early to feed the general...
"No way, he doesn't like me mother. Let Aunt Grace do her job." Nari said in annoyance.
"Nonsense. Grace has been feeding him for a week now. How the hell are we going to succeed with our plans if you don't feed him?" Kate asked with a click of her tongue feeling so irritated by her daughter's stubborness. She knows it isn't easy, she would have done it herself if her father didn't hate her already.
Each time she goes into his room, he always points his fingers on her as if trying to accuse her of something, making the other people suspicious about her.
"Let the maids do it then. That old man doesn't like me." Nari protested. The last time she had tried to feed him, he spilled all of the soup on her, this time who knows what he would do?
"You know no one else can know about our plans. Go on now and feed him, unless you want to be kicked out of this house." Nari got up and carried the tray of soup out of the room without another word.
When she stepped out of her room, she noticed only a few maids moving around, most of them still feeling so sleepy.
"Good morning miss Nari." A maid who had seen her greeted immediately.
"And what's so good about this morning?" She yelled at the girl. She was too upset to respond to anyone playfully like she always does. She wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. She had no idea why she was the one doing this, they can easily hire a maid, pay them good money and their mouth would be sealed.
It wasn't even morning yet and she was already out of bed to feed that stupid old man. The things she has to do because she's being sponsored by the Sui's. If only Mack can return so that they can run away with their money like they planned. They would reduce the Sui's to nothing by the time they're done.
As Nari walked into the general's room, she placed the tray of soup on the table and stepped back a bit. The general irritated her more than anything, he's the last thing she would want to be near, but she had no choice. They needed to find out where he had kept his will and who his lawyer was.
Kate didn't believe Bean's words about Noah's stealing her father's will. With the animosity she has with Anna, if anything of such had happened, she knows Anna wouldn't hesitate to kick her out of the mansion. Not after everything she had done to her.
"Wake up old man, it's time for your breakfast." Nari hit the bed post with a stick but the general didn't wake up. It's almost like he has turned into a little rebellious child always attacking her.
Nari struck the stick on the bed post again firm enough to scare him and the general was finally awake. Though he was now getting better, he's still unable to walk or move his body. He hasn't been able to utter a word except making strange sounds each time he sees Kate or Nari around.
Nari tried to get him off the bed but he was just too heavy for her. She turned to the servants in the room who just stood there idly watching her suffer alone with the general.
What are you doing standing there, help me get him up to eat his food." She yelled and they all rushed to get the general on his wheel chair.
It was 6 in the morning, the servants had been surprised when they saw her carry food to the general's room. He wasn't even awake yet to eat anything.
