"Noah, you're leaving so early." Chalamet who had noticed his cousin leave walked up to him immediately. He had seen the way Janjan treated Anna, though he scolded her, he still wasn't happy with what she did.
"My wife is not feeling so well." Noah said calmly and his cousin nodded.
"I'm sorry Anna for what Janie did. She didn't mean it." Chalamet apologized immediately trying to clear the air. It would be bad if Noah comes for his family. He wouldn't be surprised, a man that has locked his sister up in another country because she threatened his wife.
The news had gone around the family. All of the higher ups knows Noah Declan is with the kings seal. They know he had locked his sister up over a small matter with his woman. Most people frowned at his attitude. It is always a law among the wealthy people, family comes first before anything else. But Noah Declan had broken such law over an ordinary model.
What they all didn't know is that she's his wife. His life and everything. This woman hadms turned him into a mad dog, he obeys her command and hers alone.
In other to be in Noah Declan's good Grace, you need to be noticed by Anna. Anna is the key to the man and that is why Chalamet apologized to her.

"It's nothing." Anna said. She was hurt by Janjan's attitude, but there's nothing she can do about it. At least she knows now that she does not have any friend anymore. You can trust no one in this industry, not even yourself.
"Thank you so much. I want to have a little word with Noah." He asked for permission and Anna couldn't refuse.
"Don't take long." She said. Chalamet did nothing to her, he had even apologized for his wife. Noah and Chalamet walked forward but not away from her eyes as he kept stealing glances at her. Anna smiled. This naughty husband of hers, he just doesn't know how not to show affection in public.
Though Noah had only stolen a glance at her, his action didn't go unnoticed by the single women around who were all jealous of Anna. It's no news Noah Declan is the most handsome man in the building tonight.

"I'm so jealous of her." She heard one girl finally confess and she smiled.
"Why would you be jealous of a whore?" Another girl asked and Anna frowned.

"She's the same person that had Noah lock his sister up in that dungeon, if you ask me, I would say she's a devil that should not be trusted." She said.
"I'm sure Mr Declan doesn't love her, he only wants to mess with her and then dump her like the other girls." She giggled.
"It's only a matter of time before everyone finds out who she truly is." Anna turned to look at the two girls and they both started walking really fast. She scoffed.
That's the only thing gossipmongers like them do. They talk behind people's backs and never before them. Anna felt exhausted already, all she wants is to leave this place and never return.
She finally saw Noah walking towards her, after his long talk with his cousin. He had a smile on his lips as he approached her, the smile he always has for her and her alone.
"Come with me, I want to show you something." He said softly and Anna started walking with him. Noah Declan was more than happy his brother has granted his request of allowing him do the one thing he has always wanted to do since he got here.
To take Anna back to the place where it all started. Maybe if she sees this gs the way they were that night, she might remember who had actually tried to kill her.
Chalamet didn't have a way out. He has asked his inlaws countless times and each time they said they did nothing to Anna and they have no idea who did it. They said they were innocent and were only being punished. It's time for them to prove themselves tonight.
Chalamet led both people into the innermost part of the mansion, the part where only family members have access to. The part Anna was almost killed.
As they reached the lounge which was bright with different bright light. Chalamet who was in front, led them into the lounge. Noah frowned as he stared at the place. It looks completely different from the last time they were here. Shen must have changed his entire mansion after the accident to cover up their tracks.
"There was no need coming here, there's nothing to see." Noah said coldly. Anna who didn't understand what was happening, left with her husband.
