Anna has been too busy with her career lately that she didn't have the time to settle things with Janjan. Maybe tonight's the night.
Even if things may not be as beautiful as they used to be, Anna wanted to know they were in good terms. She misses her friend dearly, but Noah demanded she stayed away from Janjan for now. Maybe untill everything is resolved with their families. They are the same people that almost caused her her life and that of the child she lost.
Noah should be the last person in attendance of tonight's event, but Chalamet had begged him to attend, plus, he wanted to do something else with his wife. He needed to confirm something himself.
Since this is a private dinner party, there was no need masking anyone, especially since no one would be with their phone tonight.
The Shen's family mansion is the last place Noah Declan wanted to be with his wife, but it was time Anna got her memories back. He was tired of being patient. He wants to know who had destroyed the family he worked so hard to build. Who killed his son and ruptured a high percentage of his wife's womb. It is almost impossible for Anna to have children anymore and what kills him every time is that she doesn't even know about it.
He has thought of ways of telling her but he just doesn't.

At exactly 10:30, a black Bugatti Chiron stopped at the entrance of the Shen's residence and four legs stepped out of it. A pair belonging to a well polished shoes, and the other silver stilettos belonging to a very beautiful and elegant woman.
Anna's hair was already weaved and styled to the back. The last thing she needed tonight is steal the show, but she couldn't help it. Not when she has a man that is more than willing to style her at any time.
The black dress she wore exposed her perfect curves and a little skin, but it was still so decent. Anna had her diamond crown on her head and neck. That diamond will be a part of her life for now till a new diamond is crowned.
"Are you ready?" Noah who had been standing beside his wife turned to look at her and she smiled. This is no mask party so she couldn't conceal her identity. Tonight, the entire Declan family will finally know she's married to Noah Declan. Now she thought about it, she doesn't think she's ready for it, but she knows she has to.
"Yes." Noah took her hands in his as he started leading her into the large mansion. There were other people walking in and out of the mansion who turned to look at them. The one's who recognized Anna Sui were starstruck, and others just walked by since they neither knew. Noah or his wife.
As they walked in, both people were ushered in by the servants. "I am so glad you could make it Noah." A voice spoke from behind and when both people turned around, they saw it was Chalamet. Dressed in a black Suit and that perfect smile hanging on his lips, he came to greet them both.
"Chalamet father wants to talk to y..." Janjan's words were trailed when her eyes fell on Anna. She has wishes to see her best friend on this special night and here they are. Anna was in attendance, looking all beautiful and elegant in her dress.
Janjan couldn't point out where things have changed, but she knows Anna has changed a lot since the accident. She knows their friendship will never be as solid or as normal as before ever again.
"Anna." Janie called.
"Congratulations on your marriage Janie. I'm sorry I didn't come with a deserving gift for a friend." Anna said to her ex friend with a smile. She wished Noah had I formed her earlier, she would have definitely gotten so ething for Janjan.
Janjan is that special friend. The one Anna did practically everything with even if they hadn't met for long.
"Thank you Anna. I'm glad you could make it." Janjan responded.
"The refreshment room is this way, specially designed for you. I'll meet you two there." Chalamet pointed at the room by the left before walking away with his wife to be.
Noah and Anna started walking at the direction of the room. There were a few other guest still inside the room. Other dignified family members who are almost as powerful as Noah's family.
The room was lively, bustling with chatter and laughs as everyone kept in touch. Most people in here haven't had the opportunity to speak to each other in years and they saw this as an opportunity to catch up from where they stopped.
There was a large round table in the room, several large round tables in the room. The tables were big enough to convey the number of people in the room. A few other young women danced at one side to the musicians in the corner. It was a gathering for the rich and wealthy.
While a few bragged about their worth and accomplishment, others were just there to have fun and mingle.
But for tonight's event, Both Evelyn and her husband were both absent for the first time ever. They never miss family gatherings like this one, but not tonight. Infact if they found out Noah and his wife were in attendance, Evelyn would be so mad at them.
This was a family gathering, which meant everyone should be present, but yet, Noah's parents were no where to be found.
"Your parents..." Anna trailed already realizing why they aren't here. Chalamet is getting married to the family that cost her child's life. But what if no one pushed her? What if she had fallen herself? All of these fights would be pointless.
"They hate the Shen's so they couldn't attend." He said calmly to her as they found their seat. Noah drew the first chair and let his wife settle in, he was about to draw his when a man approached him from behind.
"Noah Declan." At his words the other people who had heard the man's greetings turned their faces curiously. Most people in here have seen the boy grow so much, but not to a man.
At 18, Noah Declan decided to cut himself as well as everyone from his life as he grew alone. The infamous Noah Declan.
The world may know about him, but only a few have been able to see him. It is indeed a privilege for them to be in the same room as him. It is something they could only wish for.
"Grato." Noah greeted the man. He had been avoiding attention like this all night, who knew this man would recognize him.
"Your parents, I couldn't find them here." The man said turning his gaze to Anna who nodded in greeting.
Anna is a known figure which had everyone wondering what the dou were doing together.

Noah Declan is never seen around any women, it made many believe he was gay.
Words started to fly in the room as everyone spoke about them. Some eyed the girl, and others just stared at her.
On another table, in a corner of the room was Kate who was already seated with her daughter by her side. She watched and listened at how everyone discussed her neice and tried analyzing her relationship with Noah.
"How lucky you are Kate to have your neice related to the Declan's already." A woman said to Kate who did respond to her. She only nodded with a slight smile. Anna is theast person that should attend this event tonight, so why is she here?
She had bragged about Anna hating the Shen's earlier and vowing to never come here, but seeing her neice and husband present tonight...
She'll just have to do something about all of this. There's no way in this life Anna can remember what had happened that night.
