"It's alright, that happened before Elizabeth was born, it means nothing now." Evelyn gave off a reassuring smile and Anna returned it. If anyone was looking, they would see they're the perfect mother and daughter combo.
"Anna, you made it." The queen rushed to the young girls side the moment she saw her and hugged her. Anna has the beauty every mother would love to make her their daughter in law, but one has been lucky enough to win the girl over already. And that's Evelyn. All thanks to Noah too, for giving her the best daughter in law anyone could as for.
The queen Elizabeth hugged her, inviting the eyes of the people around and everyone began to question who's daughter that was. It was enough that the queen had arrived at the event last night to crown this girl herself, and right now she was hugging her?
Her group of media team took photos of that for publishing. They would have to put that in their online magazine, as well as physical copies too.
"She's the diamond." So did whispers jump from one person to another as they stared at the girl.
"She's beautiful."

"Is she the one the queen has chosen for her son?" Another woman asked another.
"Didn't the girl announce last night that she was already in a relationship?"
"Yes but that was to a masked man." Another woman said and then a gasp was heard.
"What if the masked man is actually the prince?" She asked and so did the series of speculations start. Elizabeth turned to Evelyn when she finally noticed her and with a slight frown she had to acknowledge her. "I see you're with my diamond already Evelyn." She said, her action only made Evelyn smile brightly.
Elizabeth used to be her good friend, that is why she had named Beth after the woman in the first place, but seeing her try to fight her over her daughter in law made her amused. It would be deadly when she finally tells them that the girl before them is already her daughter as she is Noah's wife.
She giggled softly.
"Oh of course." Evelyn said. The queen said nothing else and started walking away with Anna by her side. Her shoulders were raised high, pride written all over her as she walked. Anna who has never been treated like this was still in awe to notice both women fighting over her. She never thought a day would come where she would be held by royalty and would dine with them.
Ladies meet Anna, Anna, my ladies." Elizabeth took her to the small sofa she had set aside for the women she invited specially, Evelyn included. She only left the seat because she wanted to introduce Anna herself, but the queen needed to be a queen for tonight. Besides it's her father in-laws party and they were in her palace.
"Oh she's so young and beautiful." A woman amongst the other women said with a smile.
"She is isn't she? That young blood does something really wonderful. I get jealous sometimes, but then I realize I was once young too." Another woman said, she had the same skin colour as Anna so she assumed she's also part Asian like her family too.
"You must have met my son Anna." Elizabeth didn't beat around the bush and just went straight to the point and confused Anna shook her head. She didn't recall anytime the queen introduced her to her son.
"Oh my bad, he was at the event last night, I thought he came out to congratulate you." Elizabeth said looking around till her eyes met her son coming from behind and she smiled. "But not to worry Anna, he's already here." Anna peeked around in search of the prince but all she could see were a bunch of people dancing and then Damien.
Wait Damien?
Damien is the prince? Her eyes went wide as she stared at him. She couldn't believe what she just heard. Damien is the prince? His eyes were on her as he walked towards their table. He didn't have his usual smile on, he rather frowned at her and Anna wondered what she has done wrong this time.
Damien wasn't in a good mood, especially after last night. He knew that stupid bodyguard of hers wouldn't let her attend this party so he asked his mother to also send her an invitation to the royal household for the celebration. There's no way she would refuse it when it's coming from the queen herself. But Anna did something that made him question his intentions.
She had announced a strange masked man to be her boyfriend last night. The said person looked exactly like the same casual man that looked so familiar to him, but he still cannot pin point where he has seen that face.
He wanted to believe everything she did was just the usual celebrity stunt. But Anna doesn't look like someone that would do that..
