Anna read through every headlines of every article and blog ppst with a smile on her lips. These are the only news headlines Lola sent to her. According to Lola, she has broken the internet once again. Everyone wanted to know who Noah was.
There was nothing they could use to search for him, he hadn't won any wrist watch, or ring, or earrings or even exposed any of his tattoos. Noah remained as mysterious as ever. The only little evidence they have of him was his chin and lips which showed when he kissed her.
The term 'Sugar', was now a relationship household name that every lady in Summerlane calls her boyfriend. The young girls loves to emulate Anna and they did in any way they could.
She loved the way people were desperate in finding out Noah's true identity yet failed terribly. She even saw a news that made her chuckle, almost waking the man on top of her and she moved her hands through his hair to get him to sleep again.
Noah slept so soundly on her body, and as she touched his hair, he wrapped his hands around her waist pulling her closer. Anna could do nothing but smile at his action. Noah had brought her back their hotel room last night because of how exhausted she was. But she seems a lot better this morning.
She still has a lot of media rounds to do today for the diamond company and after that she would prepare for the royal family's invitation. Lola already sent a text saying that more than one interview teams have booked her in Crownsville alone. And in Summerlane, they were more than ready to welcome her back home.
Anna couldn't forget her photoshoot with Lacey and another company Lola had accepted. She had so much to to for the rest of the month and was ready for it.
"When did you wake up?" Noah turned to look at her and she smiled.
"A while ago." Anna responded.
"And you couldn't wake me?" He asked.
"You were so stressed last night, so I wanted you to sleep more." She said.
"And you?" Noah asked her.
"I'm perfectly fine. Lola sent me a text message a while ago. I'm to be back at the resort by 10 this morning for a few media rounds and after that we will be attending the royal family's party today." She informed.
"You were invited?"
"I was." Anna picked her purse and finally unsealed the later the queen had given her last night when she invited her. Noah collected the sealed envelope from her and unsealed it. He brought out a golden invitation card, it's the same card his mother had gotten for them when they arrived. She talked about her uncle's birthday party and tried to convince him to attend, but since his wife was going. He has no choice.
Anna and Noah had their bath after their little chat and ate breakfast together. Lola arrived in the hotel and carried her back to the resort where she started her media round for the day.
With his wife out of the room, Noah decided to take a stroll around the city. He brought out his cigarettes and placed one between the side of his lips as he lit it up. Taking a large pull, he let it all out. He wore a black coat and a black hat and was walking in the city like a casual person. But no matter how he tries to appear normal, his cola aura still made eyes turn to him.
Wherever he went, people turned to look at him.
After he media rounds, Anna and Lola went over to Lacey's fashion house to get her dress ready for the royal ball. She would be wearing the dress this evening and wanted everything to go smoothly.
"Oh my diamond." Lacey greeted when Anna stepped in. She stretched her hands and Anna met her in a warm embrace. Anna is the tall of the town, she's the new diamond, so it's normal people speak about her. Now more than ever their expectations will be high and she needs to thrive to meet up to that standard.
If she fails to, they would judge her, just like Lacey's workers are doing now. Judging her with their eyes. Some glared at her, whispering things to each other, and others just stared at her curiously.
Anna knew things like this would happen when she signed up for the crown. Not everyone would like you, and you can't change their minds either. But she was happy with the ones who did.
"I have royal collections for you Anna." Lacey started moving into another room and Anna and Lola followed her. Eclipse has taken another turn all thanks to Anna and her wins. Since the diamond of the season is a part of the entertainment company, every girl aspire to be a part of it now. As of this morning, they have gotten more than 50,000 job applications.
Anna's career has gotten to greater heights and this is only the begining of it.
"My friend was supposed to attend the royal ball tonight, but she will not be attending tonight due to some private plans, so, let's see how this dress looks on you." Lacey brought out a dark green dress from the pile of other hanged dresses.
The dress was so beautiful, with bold and beautiful designs all over it.
"I'll take it." Anna said but she could see the smile on Lacey's face fade slightly.
"You do know, this is not under the diamond award anymore, but it's now up to you to pay?" She asked and Anna nodded.
"How do you want it, now or later?" Anna asked. Before she met Noah, she would count the few millions in her account but after she met Noah, she lost count of it. Her money seemed endless, and she knew a part of it came from Eclipse. As the highest share holder, she got the highest income.
Anna's salary from before had been 5million, but right now, she was getting paid 20. That's how much she has grown in only a few months.
