It is already on the news as everyone spoke about the mysterious man Anna Sui had walked through the carpet with. He had no idea what Noah was thinking when he agreed to come. Paul has worked with Noah from the beginning of time to know Noah hates camera or the media. He had no idea why, but the man does. That is the reason why he has never showed his face to anyone, not on his family photo or anything. He hates to show his face to the media.
He would rather remain invisible than give peasants something to talk about.
Paul wanted to walk up to Anna and give her the gift she asked for, but with his boss watching her keenly, he didn't want the man to see it. He would have to give her when nobody's watching. Maybe when she's alone...
Lola blended with the crowd as she walked amongst the normal people. "Look at her, she isn't even that beautiful." A girl said to another as they watched Anna. She recognized one being Ava, but she had no idea who the one that spoke was.
"People would think she's the saint, but they have no idea Nari is. It's quite unfortunate she couldn't be here tonight. This celebration is meant to be hers." Ava said.
"Oh I feel so terrible for her." The other girl said. Lola clenched her hands into a fist. She didn't mean to eavesdrop on anyone, but she couldn't help but listen. On a normal day, this would never be her problem since their words never affected Anna in any way, but today's different. She was tired of the narrative everyone was spreading around about Anna.
"Did you hear about George Borne, the one she sent to prison?" The girls asked Ava and Lola paused in her steps. She wasn't looking at them, but she could hear everything they said.
"What about him?" Ava asked. She had been so lost on everything happening since she isn't in the country, but right now, she has planned her return with Nari. With the help of Nari, Ava will return back to Summerlane.
"Anna had told the George she couldn't appear in court because of this competition but the proceeding could continue without her since she had all of the evidence and testimony needed. The judge passed the final judgement yesterday and Mr Borne has been sentenced to fifteen years in prison and he's to pay 100millione for defamation of character." The girl said. Then she went on to say, "I also heard, everything she said is not true."
"And how do you know that it wasn't. Where you there?" Lola chummed in staring at both women. She hated gossipers like this, spreading fake information about someone you know nothing about because of jealousy is so weird.
"Who are you?" Ava asked staring at the person in white feather mask. Her mask had little crystals on them. The girl who spoke, looked wealthy because of the little accessories she wore. Everything Lola wore, Anna had given it to her because she saw no need for them.
Noah buys new jewels for her almost every day and because of that she sets the old jewel up for auction or gift's it out.
"My identity doesn't matter at all to you two. It's quite comical how you seat and judge someone's character when you barely know who they are." Lola said glaring at both girls.
"Maybe you don't know who I am." Ava said taking out her mask. "I'm Ava, I've been Anna's friend for a while till she treated me poorly too. We're all a victim of Anna Sui." Ava lied through her teeth. She opened her purse immediately and showed a picture of both her and Anna on the first day of the competition. The morning they both sat down to eat together.
Her words only angered Lola and she gritted her teeth. She wanted to defend Anna and Expose Ava, but at the same time she didn't want anyone to know it was her.
"This picture only shows a fan taking a picture with her favorite celebrity. Show me something else. Something more believable." Lola said countering her words and the other girl in mask stared at Ava like some liar.
"This is how most of you lie on celebrity. And for Nari's case, Anna did nothing to her. She won fair and square because she deserves it and the world voted for her. Not because it was rigged. It's time you two stop being jealous and focus on your life." Lola stated and walked away.
While Paul waited at a corner for Anna to be done talking to the people congratulating her, he received a call from someone. One of the investigators Noah had hired to keep a close eyes on the Shen's concerning his child's murder. Paul picked the call immediately.
"What did you find?' he asked from his end.
"Shen is sending his assistant on a two day trip to on of his mansions in the south. I think they're going to hide something important." The man said.
Of course, wealthy men buy more than one mansions so that they could hide valuables in most where no one would be able to find it. They have been waiting for this opportunity for so long, he hopes everything goes as planned and Noah finds out the real person behind everything that happened that night... Paul couldn't tell what his boss would do. But he knows it'll be bloody.
He turned to look at his boss from where he sat with his mother, those grey eyes were already on him. Paul quickly texted Noah of the information and Noah texted him back. He immediately called and provided everything the investigators needed to make a safe flight to wherever Shen was sending his assistant.

Nari walked into the jet gently as with her mother tailing behind her. Her eyes were swollen from souch cry, and sorrow from everything that happened tonight. She had really wanted that crown more than anything, but Anna got it instead. Just as she has been getting everyone's thing.
Kate climbed the jet immediately after Nari, they couldn't attend the after party. She would never celebrate or congratulate anyone who won the crown over her daughter. Especially her neice. Kate was not only mad about Nari losing the award, but also about Nari marrying that stupid boy Mack. The one she insulted to people around her.
She mocked the Yong's for losing their money to Noah Declan, yet her daughter is now a young, which meant she would have to help uplift them. Nari is now married to Mack, and there's nothing she or anyone can do about it. Kate didn't like the way her son in law was dragged from the event in that manner. Both Nari and Mack have now both become a laughing stuck on the internet. Anna will have to pay for that.
Kate found her seat opposite her daughters when she received a call from a familiar caller. "How is my father." The last time she saw him, he was at the point of death and the doctor had told her to gather their family and prepare for his burial arrangement and that the general will not survive. It's surprising he wasn't dead yet.
Announcing the news of his death will be the best thing that'll happen to her especially after the hectic night they've had.
"Oh the general is doing very fine. Infact, it's surprising how his health had improved the past couple of days, but that's not why I called." Kate frowned.
"Why did you call?" She knew where this is going and didn't like it one bit. How did her father recover so quickly after they said he was already a dead man. It was time for her to execute her last plan, there's no way the general would expose her, not after accusing Anna.
Kate only just realized she had no weight in the company, especially with her father's will being missing. She had no idea Noah would visit that day, else she would have hidden everything herself. Both she and Nari had no share in her own father's property, the only person he wrote about was Anna. That what's angered her the most.
She had seen his will before and they even fought because of it. But no matter how hard she tried to convince her father or pretend to be a good daughter so that he could change the will, the general never did. He instead decided to cut of of her allowance, leaving her with nothing but peanuts.
He deserve to die.
"I called to inform you about the general just waking up."
