Lacey isn't just known to be on of the best fashion designers, but she became the beast because of crazy aesthetics as this. She would come up with the most beautiful and impossible fashion and would make it look so beautiful.
Everyone was in awe by Lacey's designs, including Evelyn who sat at the front. The dresses were beautiful and the models wearing them, were doing a wonderful job embodying the characters in the dresses they wore.
It was a beautiful walk, which left the judges and everyone in awe. When the show finally came to an end, all girls were asked to change their attires and appear in the main hall for final judgement and crowning.
Lola led Anna into her dressing space, to change her clothes into the final attire of the night, which was another white dress, but a more defined and beautiful one gifted to her by Lacey herself.
Anna was exhausted from all of the walking at the same time nervous about the outcome of the night. By default she's the winner, but she had heard the other girls gossip about someone rigging the results as they all stared at Nari. When she arrived this evening she was the lead, but somehow after their performances Nari has come on top and no is the time for the judges to call the winner.
Anna couldn't afford to lose tonight. She just couldn't, not after everything that happened. As she stepped out of her room, she could see Nari smile with Mack at a corner. Now she understood why he had arrived. To help Nari win the award like before. They had both planned this together.
Anna recalled the years she told Mack about this award and how she wanted to win it. She always says this before Nari, especially when they're together. Little did she know, her best friend at the time was always jealous of her and wanted her life for herself. And right now, just like a dream, Nari has stolen everything from her.
First, Mack, then her family. Nari has turned her family against her. Her family now saw her as the enemy and no longer Nari. What else will she steal this time, Noah? The Declan's? Because right now, they're the only family she has now.
As if Nari could read her expression, she walked towards Anna, leaving Mack alone to himself. When she reached Anna, she crossed her hands on her chest as she stared at her ex friend. "How does it feel Anna?" She asked but Anna maintained a calm composure, she would never look weak before this girl.
"What are you talking about?" Anna asked calmly staring at her.
"Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about Anna." Nari laughed. "Alright let me rephrase my words since you can't understand anything I'm saying. How does it feel to always lose Anna. Look around you, you've lost everything." Nari said.
"The voting ends in five minutes and in those five minutes we'll be asked to walk into that stage for you all to watch them crown mw the next diamond. How does it feel to watch mw take something you've always wanted?" Nari asked staring at her and the beautiful dress she was wearing.
She would rub this victory on Anna's face forever after tonight. She would make sure she flaunts her victory and always remind everyone why she's better. Being the next diamond would automatically make her the next face of Summerlane. She would take her place again.
Nari couldn't help but laugh at her victory. The bots votes was her mother's idea and doing, Mack had already called the head organiser to make Nari win just Incase the bots doesn't work and the man agreed immediately. That's the reason they had made her the first model to walk in and now Anna as planned.
Even after they placed Anna as the last, she still stole the whole show. Everyone was still speaking about her performance even if the runway show was over.
"Don't you think it's too early to start celebrating, they've not even called the winner yet." Anna laughed back and Nari frowned. "How sure are you that's the real poll, the diamond award are the most prestigious award because they've never been found cheating so why would they now?" Anna asked.
"What are you talking about?" Nari yelled a little. She was losing her composure gradually, the last thing she needed from anyone was for them to tell her she wouldn't win after marrying Mack.
"We all know the only way you can win is by cheating like you have been doing your whole career. That's the only way you can beat me Nari. Cheating." Nari raised her hands slap Anna but she held it mid air and dropped it down forcefully.
"What?" Anna asked. "You can't handle the truth? I thought you were the best, how come my little words are killing you." Anna gasped. "Or am I right?" Anna asked as if surprised.
Nari suddenly raised her phone as she smiled. The results are in, and I'm the winner. I'll fucking shit on your face when I win tonight trust me. I'll steal everything you think you have including that husband of yours." Nari started walking away and Anna frowned.
Steal Noah? She scoffed as she walked the slender figure of Nari depart. She needed a good laugh tonight and she has gotten it. No one can steal Noah, not even the devil can separate Noah from her.
