"What took you too so long again?" Ashley asked as he led the girl to her usual seat. The room was filled with the other girls in the competition as everyone dresses up for the first performance of the final show. They were all really ready to win the show tonight and take the crown home. Everyone wanted that crown even if one person takes it all at the end.
They were all ushered out of the dressing room after wearing their attires. With Anna being the last person in line directly behind Ava, the girl turned severally to look at Anna but she was ignored completely.
Maybe Anna wouldn't have ignored her if she had at least not tried to video her that night. "I'm sorry with how everything turned out Anna." Ava said arranging the black dress she wore. No matter what she had done, she still wanted to play the script of the innocent naive girl. The same script Nari was playing but in a more genuine way.
If Anna hadn't dealt with someone like Nari in the past, she would have fallen for everything Ava was doing right now. But she's no fool. Ava and Nari really think they're both smart with whatever they were doing.
Mack rushed back stage to peg his new wife one last time before she performed since she would be the first to walk in. He glanced at Anna as he pegged Nari's cheeks but Anna rolled her eyes. She wondered if Noah and his family had already arrived. For the runway, the audience weren't always much, so she could deal with it.
"I love you." Mack said out loud and the other girls there giggled and made funny sounds as they watched the couple. The single ladies in there felt jealous of them both.
They had all forgotten so soon that Nari is with the man she stole from Anna. They had forgotten so soon how she admitted to destroying Anna's image because she was in love with Mack.
"I know you'll win this." Ava smiled at them. "How cute." She murmured as she watched them. She couldn't believe Nari took her advice and has found herself a man, but why was the man staring at Anna. Ava didn't like that one bit.
"It's time." Laura announced and each girl started walking in in their time. Anna knew how to walk this time so she didn't bother asking anyone for directions. She arranged her dress dress when it was almost time, and once it was her turn, as she moved, she felt something tear behind her.
She turned around to see Nari smiling behind her. "Oh my God Anna, I'm so sorry, I had no idea I stepped on your clothes." Nari placed her hands on her lips in genuine astonishment as she apologized. But both she and Anna knew she had done it on purpose.
Laura who witnessed everything frowned at this. She didn't like the way these girls were bullying Anna. Laura had seen it from the beginning of the show, that's why she didn't like the Nari girl.
Nari's designer quickly walked up to her and started changing her clothes for the next performance since she wasn't done yet.
"You can skip this performance, I'll personally report for bad wardrobe." Laura walked to Anna's side immediately. Her dress was badly torn almost revealing her ass. But Anna shook her head. She would never accept defeat.
"I'll walk." She said to Laura and took her position. When Ava was almost out, she walked in.
Anna took the stage in the striking red flora dress that commanded attention. The dress featured a daring tear at the front, revealing her perfectly straight legs with every step she took. It was the same tear Nari had caused but the turned the skirt of her dress to the front. It's a good thing her dress was a two fit attire, turning it into a dress for the first runway.
As she glided across the runway, her movements were both fluid and deliberate, each pose showcasing the dress's vibrant design and her confident poise. Somehow, the tear added a certain beauty to the dress. It made her look even more sexy.
She transitioned effortlessly between poses, each one highlighting her grace and the unique details of the dress. The audience was spellbound, their eyes following her every move. Even the judges, usually hard to impress, were visibly taken with Anna's performance. She had a way of making the dress her own, turning the runway into a display of elegance and charm that left everyone in awe.
As she turned her eyes met Noah's and she smiled, posing even more for her hubby and he returned the smile. They didn't need words to understand themselves, all Aana needed to do was look at him to understand his words. She knew what she was doing, he would get her soon.
Anna stared at Evelyn and the Declan's family who sat in the front seats. Vincent wiggled his fingers in the air towards her and she smiled. They were more than proud of her. It's the first time the Declan's were attending a social event like this, and it looked fun, especially for Evelyn who hasn't stopped smiling at her daughter in law.
Anna's eyes moved towards her Aunt Grace and the woman smiled back at her. Now everyone knew what people meant when they say Anna Sui is a beast on the stage. She transforms into a completely different person when she climbs that stage.
Even the people who watchy from their screen were captivated by her. As she walked away, the audience clapped for her. She's pretty much the only person they've clapped for since the other girls started walking. The designer in charge of the dress was very much proud of Anna as she walked out of the stage.
As Anna stepped out, Lola and Ashley rushed towards her as they led her to the dressing room for the next attire of the night. A new glam team surrounded her as they cleaned the previous makeup and replaced it with a new one.
Anna wore the next dress for her next performance of the night.
