"Let's explore the city together while Paul and Lola get the car." Noah said to his wife and she agreed immediately. She already has a huge surprise coming up for him and didn't want him to know.
"There's this place I had seen on my way here, you would love it." Anna suggested as they started walking. Only she got to wear nose mask so that the public wouldn't identify her. She had wanted to explore this city with Noah and now he dreams were coming through. As they walked through the street, Anna came across the same road side food Damien had gotten for her the first day she walked out.
She loved it, and is so sure Noah would love it too. "What is that?" Noah stared at his wife holding the roadside food in her hands. It is his principle to only eat freshly cooked food from his mansion and that alone. He wasn't a fan of road side meal, he wasn't trained that way.
"Try it sugar, it's really good." Anna said with a smile. This woman, the things she makes him do.
"No." He shook his head. Just because she's the woman he loves with all of his heart doesn't mean she would force him to eat anything she wants.
"Come on sugar, it's really not that bad." Anna coerced him, but the man seemed to have a stand. "I don't eat roadside foods, they're bad for me." He confessed. He wouldn't start eating something he hasn't had before.
Anna is a fan of roadside foods, travelling to different cities because of her career made her eat things she would never eat. Each city had their special food and she's always so lucky to find them. She didn't force Noah and ate the food alone. It's a good thing she didn't buy so much, at least she could finish the portion she bought.
After their long walk, they arrive at a museum, being familiar with it, Anna led Noah in. She didn't explore the art sector this time, she went to the other side, where other ancient creatures and materials were. "They're beautiful aren't they?" Anna turned to the man standing before her, his grey eyes were on the skeleton standing tall at a corner.
"Indeed." Noah murmured as he took her hands and dragged her all the way there. As they watched the skeleton someone approached them. It was a man in a finely native attire parading his culture. Even if Crownsville looked modern, most people still valued their culture and beliefs.
"I'm Raven one of the museums docent, do you need help moving around?" Noah shook his head immediately. "No thank you." He took his wife's hands and they started walking away. This museum is the first thing that has interest him since he got here and he wanted to see more things.
"How did you find this place?" He asked staring at his woman.
"Uhh, the first day of our competition, my mentor brought me..."
"Miss Sui?" Someone called from behind and when she turned to see who it was, it was none other than Damien. Noah narrowed his eyes at the man that touched his wife in places he didn't like. He had promised to deal with him, who knew fate would make him see this man again.
"Damien." Anna greeted with a smile. She had concealed her identity very well so how did he recognize her? Damien's eyes moved from her to the man behind her who glared stylishly at him. He was aware of Anna's guards but this man looked too handsome to be a bodyguard.
"Oh this is Adrian." Anna introduced when she saw his eyes move to Noah.
"Adrian?" Noah responded with raised brow and he laughed out loud giving him a pleasing state to play along. "Yes, Adrian, my... Bodyguard." He glared at her and she blinked her lashes at him. Noah couldn't believe this woman would reduce him to the level of a mere guard. Did he really look like a guard?
It's understandable why everyone stared at Noah the way they did, Lacey has the same reaction and now Damien. Noah is handsome, so ooooo handsome and devilish. Her skin tickled at the thought of him.
"It's nice to meet you Adrian." Damien brought his hand forward for a handshake but Noah didn't take it. He just stared at the hands and removed his gaze.
"I had no idea you would be here." Anna laughed off the awkwardness as she glared stylishly at Noah. Oh so now she even hates him because of this man? This little flirtatious woman.
"Well I told you I spend most of my time in here than coaching anyone anymore." Damien shrugged. This place was his peace.
"After the award show, I would love to invite you to a special event." Damien scratched the back of his head as he spoke and Noah glared at him, but he tried to maintain his calmness. He was already getting impatient with everything going on.
To the public, Anna is single. But she's his wife for crying out loud. He understood it's her job and with his status he couldn't reveal himself just yet to the public, but his wife is too beautiful to give the public the impression she's single. Every man would want his woman and he didn't like that one bit.
He wanted to steal her away from the prying eyes of predators lurking around. One being this Damien boy.
"What kind of event is that?" Anna asked.
"My father's birthday party." Damien said politely hoping she would respond. Every woman he's met didn't welcome him as lovely as Anna did, she didn't judge his appearance even if she has a guard as handsome as as hot as the man behind her.
"You see Anna, I wanted to speak to you at the end of your competition last time but you looked so down, so I couldn't say anything. Maybe at the party we can spend more time together and get to know each other?" Damien said and Noah's blood boiled.
"She's not coming." Noah cut in before his wife could respond.
