Chapter 163 GOOD TURNED BAD 2

The maids were quick to show Anna to the master suite, and she stepped inside, her breath taken away by the elegance of the room. It was dark, a clear reflection of Noah's personality, yet there were touches of pink on the walls and a few decorations that softened the atmosphere. It felt like a demon's lair being gently tainted by an angel's presence.
Anna loved it. She loved everything about it. The blend of strength and softness, the balance between darkness and light. It was perfect. Everything she could ever want.
But she had forgotten so soon she had been the one to redecorate the entire mansion as Noah wanted. Turning everything the way she wanted.
She walked further into the room, her fingers brushing against the luxurious fabrics and intricate details. Each piece of furniture, each decorative element, screamed luxury. She didn't need anyone to tell her they cost a fortune or more.
Beth dropped the bag on the bed with a huff, breaking Anna's reverie. "Don't think you won today, count your days with my brother," Beth said with annoyance. "Let's see how long you pretend before your true nature appears."
Anna turned to her, her smirk widening. "Did you see how easy it was to turn you into my maid?" She asked to see the girl clench her fist.
"The heiress of the Declan's empire turning into my maid." She chuckled.
"Your true nature are finally coming out. It's only a matter of time before you get kicked out." Beth laughed.
"You don't like me as much as I don't like you too. But you should think twice before crossing me Beth, else your threats will become your reality." A sudden knock was heard by the door distracting both ladies from their fight.
"Come in." Anna said to see the butler she had seen earlier walk in.

"... Lurch will show you to your rooms if you want to stay." Noah concluded.
"We don't want to stay Noah." Lionel said. "We only came to surprise your wife since you wouldn't let us see her." He added.
"What is wrong with her Noah?" Vincent who had been seating next to his daughter in law tip toed to his grandson's side.
"She lost her memory, and that's all the memory after she met me." Evelyn frowned.
"That is bad." Evelyn said in a hushed voice. She could only imagine what her son is going through mentally. The woman he's lived with for months now all of a sudden cannot recognize who he is anymore.
"What did the doctor say will happen to her?" Lionel asked.
"It's a 50-50. She might get it back or create new memory to replace it. But I want her to have it back. I want to know who killed my child."
"This is exactly what I was talking about. Whoever did this must have done it for fame, they just want her out of the way." Lionel said thoughtfully.
"No wonder she hadn't hugged me or kissed my head as always. I fear Annabelle is the opposite of who she used to be."
"It's her true nature." Grace said and everyone turned to look at her. She had been here to see how kind the Declan's are towards her neice and she wondered why her father hated them so much.
They aren't bad people as Kate say they are. And even Vincent, this old innocent man that looks like he couldn't harm a fly.
Though she didn't have anything against them, the air still felt tensed knowing a Declan and Shi were in the building together. She could tell how much they avoided talking to her, but yet, here she is inserting herself in their conversation.
"Anna has always been this way. She's only mean to those who hate her and kind to those who loves her." Grace said.
"That's so sweet of her." Evelyn said. "That's what everyone should do. You give back whatever energy anyone throws at you." Evelyn smiled. "But on a serious note, no one has to know about this, this should end with us." Everyone agreed with a nod but a certain someone who was walking down the stairs paused as she over heard their conversation.
She was already made at Anna for treating her like a maid and knowing she has lost her memory, this is the perfect time for her friend to get her revenge and take what's hers. Beth brought out her phone and texted Cara.
"Why didn't you tell us your wife was pregnant Noah." Evelyn chided her son.
"You would have found out anyway." Came Noah's response as he leaned into the couch. He was exhausted from everything and needed a good sleep.
"Noah." Grace called him softly and he opened his eyes to look at her.
"Why don't you go ahead and sleep, you need rest too." He nodded and rose to his feet than he started walking through the stairs. When Noah got to his room, he opened the door and just fell on the bed and started sleeping.
Anna who had only just stepped out of the bathroom was stunned to see her hubby already in bed with his clothes on. She wanted to kick him out of the room but felt too tired to. She felt dizzy too, especially after all the talking she just went through.
Noah's sister really is a pain in the ass, but it wouldn't take anything to defeat her. She isn't the same person people would step on.
Anna moved all the way to the other side of the bed and laid there. She pulled the bedsheet up to her breast level and wrapped her hands around it protectively, Incase Noah tries to do anything stupid to her.
If the Declan's say she had lost a child, it only means this man was responsible for it, which means he must have seen her. Anna bit her lips at her thought. She felt her cheek turned warm.
She shouldn't be thinking of things like this but she couldn't help it.
She had no idea what her former life was or how she ended up in that hospital, maybe she could try looking it up on the internet to know what was happening. But even she knew the news online were not 100% true.
Anna yawned as she thought about it. Maybe she'll know everything that happened when she wakes up, for now, she was just too tired to find out about anything.
