People were quick to move on from a scandals especially if there's another scandal coming up, like the one Nari had done yesterday. She's been trying so hard to be on the news, to be talked about so that she could start getting brand deals again.
As the general had promised, he had cut off both she and her mother's allowance and it was no longer enough to do anything she wanted. She's a top celebrity not just anyone and in other to compete with Anna, she needed money. She needed millions to fit in.
She's Nari Sui.
She had heard the Information about Anna recovering before anyone from the nurse she hired to keep an eye on her. Nari was more than ready for Anna's return, she knew Noah would be helping, she was nothing against Noah but she would try.
As Nari sauntered through the local restaurant which reeked of local food. She adjusted her nose mask even if it barely protected her from the smell that attacked her.
Nari glanced around, searching for the particular figure who had asked her to meet up. She had a plan, one that Mack had devised. The idea was to steal the Sui family's money and run away with it. But Nari had other plans in mind, she wanted a successful career and a perfect reputation. Stealing from the Sui's would only attract more trouble than they already had.
But in other to archive her plans, she needed strong backing, and the only way she could secure that was by freeing Mack from Noah's control, just as she had freed herself.
She knew her freedom had come at a cost, and it was all thanks to Kate. Now that Anna had lost her memory, as Nari had heard, there was an opportunity. If she could convince Anna to help her free Mack, everything would fall into place.
Adjusting her shades and nose mask, Nari scanned the restaurant, her eyes finally landing on a tall, familiar figure at the far end of the building, hidden from the prying eyes of the public. She smiled, and Mack Yong returned her smile. They had made this plan before Anna's accident but had been unsure how to execute it. Now, with Anna's condition, Nari saw a clear path forward.
Nari approached Mack, "Mack." She greeted when she arrived at his table.
"Nari." Mack responded as he watched her take her seat.
"Do you need drink I could ask the waiter to get you some?" Nari shook her head. "We won't be staying for long anyway so I don't need anything " she said.
"Did you think about everything I said?" Mack asked to see her nod.
"Our plans would go effectively Mack, we don't have to run for anything." Mack stared at her with narrowed eyes. He knew one way or another Nari would try to sabotage his plan, she loved her reputation more than anything and would do anything to stop it from ruin.
"Anna has already painted you black in the eyes of people, they already know you're a bad person Nari, stop trying to clear your name." Mack said with a slight frown. He was desperate, he would do anything that will bring him and his family out of the slums they lived in.
His mother's sickness has gotten worse, his father too. He can no longer afford their treatments especially since Noah has reduced his salary.
"That's not the point Mack." Nari said.
"I helped you when you were nothing, built into who you are today." Mack started.
"I'm very aware of that Mack and that's why I'm helping." she said through gritted teeth looking around to make sure no one heard her. She wanted to help him, to return the same favour as before. But Mack was making it hard for her.
"It doesn't seem like you are." Mack said.
"Anna is awake." Nari said.
"What does that information have to do with anything? You said they kicked her out of the mansion, you made it possible so why are you still worried about her?" Mack tried his best not to yell as her as he spoke. He was trying to hard not to draw attention to himself.
Nari would have been stucked with him, but somehow in some stupid way, she got out. And right now he needed help. He was in too much trouble that he it suffocating. It's almost as if he should kill himself and then the next moment he remembered his parents and the thought of taking care of them angered him.
He has never hated them as much as he did now. Those two old people are really a pain in the ass.
"Yes she's awake. But she lost her memory during the fall." Mack paused to stare at Nari.
"She doesn't remember a thing?" He asked to be so sure.
"Not after she saw us. We can easily manipulate her and tell her she had hurt you instead then make her free you."

Anna looked through the information presented to her by her manager Lola Brooke who had been too persistent on her resuming work. She has been given an office and glam room in Eclipse as their top model.
No one except Lola knew she was married to Noah and that she owned a 40% share of the company. She couldn't be more happier.
Noah had informed her management of her current condition and how they could help her get her life back. In her previous press conference she had talked about how Mack and Nari cheated on her and the reason she left them.
She said boldly she had moved on from Mack. Fast forward to months later, she had gotten her revenge, but it seems Nari was still messing with her as she has now become her cousin.
