At least their prayers didn't go to waste. Though Anna is supposed to stay in the hospital for a few more days for examination, Noah decided that she could get her treatment from the mansion. Especially after the death of the nurse in the locker room.
Nobody knew what had happened to her. She had been in Anna's room one second and the next she excused herself out of the room just for her to be dead in the locker.
The doctors couldn't find any curse of death. She looked normal, "Ava didn't have any past health challenges that they know of since they did weekly checkup.
The entire Declan family were present to welcome their daughter in law. Vincent was the happiest, though he had no idea Anna couldn't remember a thing from after she met Noah.
When Noah successfully led Vincent out of the hospital, he didn't let the old man return again and Vincent already kept a little grudge for his grandson.
Anna glanced at Noah who sat across from her in the limo they rode with. He had his eyes on her like a beast waiting to pounce on her and she couldn't help but shudder at her thoughts. She had no idea why this man made her feel so scared at the same time safe around him.
Noah's eyes took note of the little bruises on her face, her pale skin and lips which was dry. She looked so thin, like someone that have been starved for a whole day or two.
"Where are we going to?" Anna whispered to her aunt who was just seated next to her as she tried to distract herself from the demonic eyes of the man across from her. He hadn't said anything to her since he confessed to being her husband and only conversed with the doctor and the people around them.
"To your home." Grace said casually, a smile spread across her lips.
"M... My home?" Anna asked to see her aunt nod. She didn't understand what she meant by her home, was she leaving with this monster? How did she love with him?
Who was she before all of these? How did she get so bold to approach this man and marry him instead of Mack?
Does this mean she had her life back?
Is she a celebrity again?
Did she finally deal with that lying demon Nari?"
She had a lot of questions to ask and she didn't know where to start from or who to ask.
"Stop stressing yourself my sweet girl, I'll tell you everything you need to know." Noah finally spoke to her and she met his gaze. How did he know she was confused?
"I... I'm not your sweet girl." She said to see him grin.
"This is going to be fun." Noah murmured still staring at his wife. At least the fall hadn't affected any other part of her body except her brain.
When they reached the front of a black gate, it yawned open and the chauffeur drove through. The guards at the entrance waved at their boss and madam smiling from ear to ear. It was no news what had happened to her.
To others Anna was just a celebrity, to her family she was a stubborn betrayal, but to the Declan's, she was Noah's heartbeat. He loved her so much that he would do anything in this world for her. It had been because of her that Noah decides to let them go on vacation for the first time since they started working.
When the car finally stopped at the entrance of the mansion, a guard opened the door for them and they all stepped out of the car. Lurch and his selected maids were already outside each holding each letters of the word 'welcome back' in their hands.
They smiled on seeing their madam, but she didn't smile back at them. She held her aunt as she walked in with her.
"Welcome back Madam." Anna ignored Lurch's greetings.
"Get the maids to arrange her bags inside. For now, my wife cannot remember a thing, you should tell them so that they know not to mention a child to her ear. I don't want her remembering hurtful memories." Lurch nodded.
"We're deeply so sorry for your loss master Noah." Lurch bowed for Noah to tap his shoulder.
"It's not your fault." He said as he walked in.
"Surprise!!! Everyone screamed when they saw Anna step in. She was startled at first, but then she smiled. "Oh Anna, welcome back my darling." Anna stared at Evelyn unable to recall where she had seen this woman before, but seeing a similar feature to that of her husband, she assumed it was his mother and played along.
"I'm so sorry for what happened." Evelyn said hugging her daughter in law. Beth who had been standing by the side eyed the girl stylishly. She didn't like Anna one but, especially after what happened with Cara. They had both prayed for Anna's demise only to see her still alive. To even think she was pregnant for her brother.
Beth clicked her tongue. "What are you doing standing there on your own Beth, say something to your brothers wife." Lionel noticed his daughters deceitful frown and brought her back to reality. It wouldn't be easy to win Beth over, but he would love to see how everything plays out.
They were not stupid to tell Anna about her child loss. As Noah had said, it's best she recovers fully before such news and brought to her.
"I'm fine father." Beth said avoiding his stare.
"That's not enough, she just came back from the hospital an..."
"Fine, stop talking." Beth walked up to where Anna was with the rest of the family.
"It's good to see you again Anna. I'm so sorry you lost my brothers child during the accident."
