"Alright, no don't cry, I'll get the doctor okay?" Noah pressed the little emergency button on her bed as he wiped her tears with his thumb. But Anna was quick to slap it off. She was so confused and needed answer.

This man claim to be her husband yet she cannot recall getting married to anyone. The last thing she recalled was Mack telling her about his plans of getting married to her. So who the hell is this man?

"Anna!" Grace called as she stepped into the room. She had gone out for fresh air, yesterday's experience had been over whelming and she was yet to get over it. Coming back in, she saw that her neice was already awake.

"Oh my God, my baby." Grace rushed to her neice's side and hugged her. Anna hugged her aunt tightly as she buried her faced into the woman's neck seeking comfort. At the same time she raised her head to stare at Noah again, her blue eyes staring at his grey ones without blinking.

"Aunt Grace." Anna called which had Noah almost scoffing. She remembered her aunt but couldn't remember him? He's never felt more stressed in his entire life. But he deserves it. If this is nature's way of punishing him for taking his wife to they party after the doctors warning, then it's done good.

But nature should also be aware that he's just one man.

"Who is he?" She asked as Grace also turned to Noah with wide eyes. "It turns out she can't remember who I am." Noah said nonchalantly but he was at least glad she was okay.

"He's your husband Anna." Anna pulled back slightly, her brows furrowing. She opened her mouth to speak but the door opened with the doctor stomping in. Behind him were his nurses all in their attires.

"Good morning Mr Declan." The man greeted with a slight bow. "It is good to finally see she's awake." The doctor smiled as he walked over to where Anna laid.

"But she can't recall a thing before we got married." Noah said to him dipping his hands in his pocket. He was already getting furious that his wife cannot recognize him anymore and as if the devil wants to annoy him the more, she's terrified of him like he's some monster. Even if he's a hideous beast, at least he's still handsome.

"I already told you she'll have some memory loss." He wore his gloves as he got closer to where Anna sat.

"Hi Mrs Declan, how are you feeling today?" Anna looked between the doctor and Noah before saying, "I... I'm fine, I just don't know how I got here, I can't recall a thing from before." She said.

"That's completely normal after an injury like yours. Memory loss can occur, especially with head trauma. We'll need to run some tests to understand the extent of your amnesia, but it's important to take things slowly."

Noah, still frustrated, clenched his jaw. "How long until she remembers everything?"

Dr. Reynolds sighed. "It's difficult to say, Mr. Declan. Recovery can vary greatly from person to person. Some memories might come back quickly, while others could take longer or might never fully return."

Grace held Anna's hand tightly. She had been so scared for her neice before, but Anna if Anna had lost a few memory, at least she's back now.

The people in the room were too focused on Anna that they hadn't seen the girl who looked shocked and confused at the same time. It turns out Noah wasn't the only one shocked to see Anna alive. Ava quickly stepped out of the room and dialed a number.

"What is it?" A female voice came from the other end of the line.

"What is it? I told you to only do your job, not tell me when that useless gitl dies. Do you have a death wish or something? How dare you spoil my day today you bitch." The female voice yelled at her and Ava pursed her lip. She didn't know how to tell her their plan hadn't worked at all.

The poison she was given to kill Anna with didn't work. "Please ma'am I'm so sorry." Ava said. "This call better be worth it." She barked.

"U... Uhm, I... I gave her the poison as instructed." Ava said, her lips trembling as she spoke. The last thing she wanted was her family members being hurt for her sin. She didn't mean to do it, she had no idea why it didn't work. Anna is supposed to be dead this morning, they're meant to be taking her corpse to the morgue this morning.

Ava had been eager to accompany the doctor to Anna's ward this morning to see the girl dead herself but she was shocked when she saw Anna alive and without complications.

"You don't have to worry Ava, no one would know you killed her. And don't worry, I already sent a few reporters over there this morning to report about it." Ava wanted to confess but her mouth felt so heavy. She had no idea what next to do.

If this woman finds out things didn't go as planned, she might kill her. She didn't want to die. She hung up immediately and rushed into the nurses closet. There were a few other nurses there to change their clothes. Especially the ones that are on morning shift.

Ava opened her locker and brought out the empty bottle and her eyes went wide. She had given Anna the wrong content. The real poison was in here. Ava bit her lips staring at the content in her locker.

Her body shook with fear, this is her end. She's definitely going to get killed today, she had failed on her mission.

"It's good you're already here, I've already told her our plans didn't work thanks to you." A man said from behind and she turned to meet his gaze. She had been too lost in her thoughts that she hadn't noticed when he got in.
