"Hey, let me go!" Nari screamed as a guard held her hands, her face contorting in a mix of fear and anger.
"Don't you dare touch my wife, she's heavily pregnant. Noah Declan, I'll deal with you!" Shen screamed, his voice echoing in the hospital room as the guards escorted him and his wife out.
As they made their way to the reception area, their eyes widened in shock.
The reception area had been transformed into a scene of chaos. Furniture was overturned, and the usual orderly environment of the hospital was in disarray.
There were reporters standing outside of the building with guards blocking them from stepping in.
The guards tightened their grips on their captives and began leading them toward the exit. Kate and Nari struggled, their protests falling on deaf ears, while Shen continued to spew threats, his face red with anger.
"You can't do this, Noah! This isn't over!" Shen yelled, his voice breaking slightly as he realized the futility of his resistance.
Janjan who had been quiet since they got here just followed the guards out of the hospital. She understood Noah's anger, but she hopes everything could be resolved quickly. She hopes Anna would be okay.
She wasn't only hurt that Anna was injured, but she was hurt that her friend was pregnant
As they approached the door, Nari's struggles ceased. Her heart raced at the thought of what people would say if they saw her being escorted out of the hospital by guards. She had been the one to call the reporters the moment she saw Anna on the floor, aiming to turn the situation to her advantage. But now, the tables had turned, and she found herself on the brink of public humiliation.
The flash of cameras and the murmur of reporters grew louder as they neared the exit. Nari could see the sea of media personnel, their eyes hungry for a scandal, their fingers ready to type out her downfall. She tried to compose herself, smoothing her hair and forcing a smile, but her mind was a whirlwind of panic.
She hadn't pushed Anna off the stairs—this wasn't supposed to be her downfall. Thought that was her wish, but she was glad when someone else did it for her.
As the doors opened, the reporters surged forward, bombarding them with questions.
"Nari! What happened inside?"
"Are you being arrested?"
"Is it true you were involved in an altercation with Anna Sui?"
Nari kept her head high even if she was being dragged right now like a nobody by the guards, trying to exude an air of innocence and victimhood. "This is a misunderstanding," she began, her voice trembling slightly. "I had nothing to do with what happened to Anna. I'm being falsely accused."
"But you recently just became her sister, we know of Your past feud with her. What if this is your means of revenge?" A reporter said.
"I said I didn't do anything this time, I had nothing to do with it!! She yelled her voice turning to high pitched as the guards dragged her into the car.
Grace who had tailed behind them stared at them in silence, she didn't say a thing because her sister deserves it. That girl Nari has finally brainwashed her sister.

When Noah and the doctor stepped into the theater, he was met with the heart-wrenching sight of his wife lying unconscious on the bed, surrounded by a myriad of pipes and wires. The sterile environment was filled with the steady beeping of monitors, each sound a painful reminder of Anna's fragile state.
"She was lucky to have been found early, sir. We could have lost her today," the doctor said, standing next to Noah. Despite the doctor's words, Noah remained silent, his gaze fixed on Anna's pale face.
"It's quite unfortunate we lost your child," the doctor continued, his voice filled with genuine regret.
Noah nodded, a single, mechanical movement. The news had been devastating. It was the catalyst for his earlier rage, the reason he had destroyed the reception area in a blind fury. Paul had already called in a team to clean up the mess, but the emotional wreckage was far more difficult to address.
He felt a burning rage, a desire to find and strangle the person responsible for this tragedy. His fists clenched at his sides, the muscles in his jaw tightening as he struggled to contain his emotions.
"Mr. Declan," the doctor called gently, placing a hand on Noah's shoulder. "We'll take good care of her. She needs time to heal, both physically and emotionally."
Noah barely registered the doctor's words. His mind was consumed with thoughts of vengeance and sorrow. He looked down at Anna, her still form breaking his heart all over again. He walked up to her calmly, and gently took her hand in his, feeling the coldness of her skin against his warmth. He pressed his lips on her hands.
"I'll leave you two alone." The doctor said and walked away. Noah didn't take his eyes off his wife even for a second. He wanted to be here when she wakes up, it's his fault she's like this anyway.
"I'm sorry." He whispered pressing his lips on her hands again and again and again.

During the time of evening, Paul walked back into the room where his madam laid. She was still as unconscious as he had left her this afternoon, but at least her breathing seemed to have been stable finally.
"Did you burn the decorations and everything I instructed you to do?" Noah asked from the window where he stood, still in his black attire from this morning. Paul has never seen his boss lose it before. Noah Declan is always known to be a smart thinker, he never lose his calm demeanor or go berserk like he had done today.
Paul hadn't seen his calm boss this morning. He had seen a raging beast. Something he never thought he would see even in a million years.
"Yes sir." Paul responded, his hands strictly placed behind him.
"Did Lola twist the news like I asked?" Noah finally turned to look at him, the moon light shining into his eyes and Paul nodded. "She maid two popular actresses make up their 10 years beef like asked." Paul stated.
"Good." Noah dipped both his hands in his pocket as he took a few steps from the window. "And how are my captives?" He asked.
"They've been dealt with sir. I... I don't think they really know what had happened." Paul said ignoring the deadly glare from Noah. They had used all of the tricks in the book on those people, yet they all denied being close to Anna when she fell.
"Nonsense Paul." Noah cut him off with a wave of his hands. "My sweet girl isn't as clumsy as everyone makes her out to be. Did you find the security footage, they may have something?"
"Nothing sir. The Shen's have no security Camara in their mansion." Noah raised a brow at his assistants words. "Really?" He was astonished. No family built their home without a security camera, even if the rest of the family are unaware about it, there was always a hidden camera around the mansion.
Noah clicked the tongue hoping his wife had fallen on her own. If it turns out to be the other way around like he had imagined...
What he couldn't understand was what Nari was doing in that mansion, as far as he remembers, she isn't a friend to Janjan. Or did they plan this together? Noah sighed at his thoughts.
He wouldn't let them off so easily. It's really heartbreaking that he had to lose his child in such way. "What really happened to you?" He turned to look at the pale white figure sleeping peacefully on the bed. She's been more stable since he got here and he didn't want to leave her side, not for a second.
Noah was far too gone to realize he nibbled the words out loud for his assistant to hear. He has never been so heartbroken, losing a child isn't as easy as he thought it would be. His first seed.
They should sleep in the cell tonight and be released tomorrow morning." He ordered and Paul bowed slightly. He had no solid evidence either of them did it, but he would find out in no time.
"What to we do with your cousin, he wants to talk to you?" Paul asked his boss.
"Don't let him in. I don't want to speak to anyone. Not even my family are allowed in here for now." Paul bowed and started walking away. When he reached the door, "Paul." Noah called, and the man turned to meet his grey eyes.
"Tell Grace she can come in now, she can't sleep alone in the cold." Paul nodded and walked away.
