"But how will I stop that when I don't even make the decisions in the mansion. I don't even have a right." Grace asked.
"I'll work on that, you'll need to be in charge of the finances and make sure to manage it very well." Anna instructed.
"How will you do that?" Grace stared at her neice who said nothing else to her. Anna knew from the moment she saw Nari with her aunt that she was planning something big, but she couldn't quite put her finger around it.
Speaking with Grace, she could finally understand. That's the reason she had seen her with Mack, she wants to extort money from her family to help her stupid boyfriend. She's there to destroy her family and that's why she wants her out. Anna gritted her teeth. She's let people step on her for too long, but it's time she deals with them herself.

A few days past since Grace went back home as Anna instructed her. While she thought of a way to deal with George Borne, Nari and Mack, she also followed Noah for consistent check-up. It's the only way he had promised to allow her stay for Janjan's bridal shower.
As Anna and Noah stepped out of the hospital, both in nose mask, they both stepped into the car.
"I'll be traveling out tonight with the boys." Noah adjusted his glasses. He was so happy, the doctor had said she was getting stronger now, but she still needed rest and attention. If it wasn't against the traditions of all bridal shower he would have been in there with his wife but the Shen's have promised him she would be safe.
He didn't tell them she was pregnant, he only told them to take good care of her. "While you party with your friend, avoid drinking my sweet girl." Noah warned to see her nod like an obedient child.
He knew of her addiction for alcohol, he's also an addict himself. It's one of the reasons he's attracted to her. Though they haven't really gotten the time to drink and challenge each other, he hoped they would try it one day.
"Where are you guys going to?" Anna asked.
"Just a bar, Chalamet said he wants to do one crazy single things before he's tied down. Don't tell your friend." Noah added staring at his wife and she nodded.
"Make sure you don't talk to any woman or have anything to do with them." Anna warned to see him nod. "I won't do that." He promised but she wanted to test him more.
"I need Chalamet's number, I need to call him to keep an eye on you." She smiled at the reaction on Noah's face. At least now he can see how she feels when he orders her around like a child. She knows drinking is toxic for her child and she'll never do anything to harm her.
"Fine." He dialed a few letters and numbers and her phone beeped immediately. When Anna checked her phone, she saw Chalamet's number in there. Noah pulled her close and she rested her head on his shirt, inhaling his scent as she wrapped her arms around his waist.
In no time they arrived before the Shen's large mansion, a few guards walked forward to receive Anna and her bag but Noah didn't let her go with them. He wanted to escort his wife himself to make sure she's okay.
"Welcome Mr Declan." The butler bowed but Noah ignored the man as always and carried his wife into the mansion. The mansion was already lit up with maids decorating inside the house. The heiress of the Shen's family was getting married, it's only right it is done in a big way.
"Mr Declan, it's a pleasure to meet you." Shen walked down from the stairs with his pregnant new wife while the first instructed a few maids on what to do.
"You too." Noah said to the man. "Good evening uncle Shen." Anna greeted.
"Good evening Mrs Declan. I am so glad you good make it, Janjan is waiting for you." Anna smiled. "Where is she?"
"Anna." Janie called from the stairs, her eyes twinkling in excitement as she saw her friend. It's been so long they last spoke and she couldn't communicate with Anna, especially after her father seized her cell phone until she agreed to be married to Chalamet.
They've been together for a while now and she only just realized he isn't as bad as she thought he would be.
Janjan hugged her best friend. "I've missed you." Janjan said to her friend hugging her again and again.
"I've missed you too." They both smiled at each other. "Come, I have a lot to show you." Janjan started dragging her friend up the stairs but Anna's steps weren't as fast as her friend especially after the little pain she felt on her stomach. She turned to look at Noah who had his worried eyes on her and she smiled to reassure him she was okay.
She would have to be careful tonight, what's the worst that can happen. Janjan opened her room door and Anna stepped in. She wasn't shocked to see no one in the room, both she and her best friend were bad at making friends.
They were just too careful to let another person in their circle especially after the betrayal Anna went through. She cut connections with all of her friends in the industry since they all turned their back on her when she needed them the most.
"It's as beautiful as I left it." Anna said as she stepped in. "This is not where we're partying." Janjan said shocking her friend as she put her naughty smile on.
"Do you think I would stay locked up in my room and do a stupid sleepover with my girls when my husband to be is probably out at a club partying his night away?" Janjan tried catching her breath as she panted a little after her raps.
"So..." Anna stared at her crazy friend and she knew what she was thinking already.
"Anna it is my last night being single, I have to live my best life. I'll be tied to just one man for the rest of my life." Janie explained further trying to convince her friend.
"You don't have to worry Anna, I already have everything planned. We won't stay for long." Janjan added.
"So is it just us?"
"No!" Janie scoffed. "There are a few friends I can't even invite over. They approached me during my appearance with you at Evelyn Declan's birthday party. And we've been talking ever since." She shrugged.
"So when are we leaving? I'm not partying with you guys." Anna said to see her friend nod vehemently.
As both ladies sat there planning on how to evict the mansion without Janjan's parents suspecting a thing, a knock was suddenly heard on the door and Janjan went ahead to open it.
"Miss Jan I'm here to deliver this to miss Sui." The butler said and Janjan took the gift from the man and closed the door behind her.
"Would you look at that? I'ts my wedding eve's yet someone's getting gift." Janjan walked in with the gift box in her hands and Anna's eyes went wide. She had forgotten about it completely.
"It's not for me, it's yours." Anna smiled as Janjan hugged the gift. "Oh thank you Anna. I'm so sure I'll love it." While she and Noah went to the hospital today, that wasn't the only place they went to.
They were already shopping this morning for Janjan's bridal shower gifts. It's like a tradition where a girl gets gifts and celebrate her last single life with her pals. They party and cry all night in her bedroom cause it's the last time she would be there.
Anna had imagined same with Mack, who knew she would be married to Noah in the blink of an eye. She smiled at her thoughts. The man she's married to hates parties and small gatherings, he wouldn't even let his mother plan their wedding.
Janjan didn't hesitate to open the box, she was half way through when they heard another knock on the door. "Ugh." She yelled standing to her feet.
As Janjan opened the door her eyes went wide at who was standing before her. She frowned, "What are you doing here, who even invited you here?"
"Easy Janjan I'm not an enemy." Anna heard the familiar voice and frowned. No one had to tell her who it was for her to know. But what is she doing here is when Janjan's not even her friend?
How much more obsessed can she be?
But her aunt had told her her family will not be present at the Shen's wedding because their daughter was being married to a Declan.
