A soft knock was heard by the door and Noah went ahead to open it. Anna drew the sheets upwards covering her body perfectly. She stared at the mature man step in. He should be between his late thirties and early forties.

His honey brown long hair was tied to the back with a black ribbon. He wore a brown suit, holding a big brown bag matching his brown shoes. Anna found his fashion taste terrible, but what does she expect from an ordinary person. He was a doctor, not some model and fashionista.

He had a little mustache on his face.

"Mr Declan." He greeted with a slight bow.

"It's nice to see you again doctor Eden." Evren greeted. Lurch who had led the doctor in himself bowed and walked away, closing the door behind him.

"Thank you. You called so early, are you alright?" He asked and Noah nodded.

"I'm perfectly fine, but my wife isn't." The doctors small eyes shifted to Anna and then he walked up to her. He took her hands, checking her pulse with his fingers. "Good morning madam Declan." He greeted with a polite smile.

"Good morning." Anna's heart hadn't stopped racing as he checked her. "Lift your face." The doctor instructed and she did just that. He opened her eyes to check her.

"Pale skin, early morning sickness, there could be only one cause." He said bring out a few things from his box.

"Yes, she fainted the night before, when I took her to the hospital, it was confirmed that she's pregnant." Noah said from where he stood. Saving Eden the stress of performing another test.

"Well then congratulations Mr Declan." Eden smiled at him. "Thank you." Noah responded.

"We'll also need to perform series of test on her to know the state of the child, she'll have to come over to the hospital for checkup regularly." He said.

"You need more rest and sleep for now Madam Declan." He said.

"The first doctor we met said it was risky." Noah chimmed in. "I don't have enough equipment in here to know the state yet, but do not worry Mr Declan, she'll get past this stage."

"First stages are always this way. She'll experience more nausea, fatigue, food cravings, mood swings and many more."

It'll be over before you know it." He added.

At this moment Noah wished he knew things about pregnant women, but sadly, he didn't. He never thought of having a child till he met his wife and even after meeting her, he was scared of his children being born into their crazy world, but here they are.

"Just like today expect to see more of her early morning sicknesses. But not to worry, It'll be over before you know it." The doctor smiled at the couple but both people were not in the mood to.

"Is there any drugs she can take to at least control it?" Noah began to follow the man out of the room.

"Not at all Mr Declan. Although I would love to recommend a few diet plans for her and..." Their soft voice disappeared when both men stepped out and closed the door.

Anna was finally left alone to herself in the now quiet room. She let out a sigh as she drew the sheets over her body. She still couldn't believe she was having child, a little child was growing in where right now. She placed her hands on her still flat tummy.

Though she was yet to feel anything she was still so scared. She hadn't planned for a child at the moment, but here she is. She's to be a mother soon. The thought of having her little baby that looks just like her or Noah made her smile. She had imagined this future with Mack, but was now having it with someone else. Someone she loves.

Another knock was heard by the door, "Come in." She said to see her aunt step in.

"How are you feeling dear?" Grace asked calmly as she stepped in. "I met your husband and he said I could come see you." Grace smiled.

"I'm fine now." Anna said with a small smile but her aunt knew more than anyone her neice was lying. "How do you really feel Anna?" Grace asked coming to stand next to her neice.

"It might be the stress of a few days ago, maybe I need a lot of rest." Anna said. Noah had told her not to tell anyone yet, thought she still couldn't understand why, she listened to him.

"But you rested yesterday." Grace said with concern. "Did the doctor say anything? Did he see anything strange like..." Grace pursed her lips.

"He said it's fever from stress and that I needed more rest." Anna said quickly and then she smiled. "I don't think I'll be getting any rest any time soon." She felt so bad for hiding it from her Aunt Grace, but maybe Noah is right. Both family has a huge conflict to resolve. She couldn't give birth to her child at the middle of a family feud.

"Why not, your health is more important. You should listen to the doctor Anna." Grace scolded her neice.

"Did Janjan invite the family for her wedding?" Anna asked to see her aunt nod. "Your aunt Kate and father said they aren't going to attend since she's getting married to a Declan. They've sworn with their lives they would never have anything to do with any Declan." Grace said.

"Why are you here aunt?" Anna had been meaning to ask but she hadn't gotten the chance since she had Noah to take care of.

"That mansion has been nothing but toxic since that girl got back Anna. It's like father and Grace can no longer think anymore." Grace sighed.

"They spend moment anyhow on her. They give her anything she asks, all she has to do is ask." Grace laughed.

"I always suspected her sudden arrival. I don't know what spell she cast on aunt Kate to make her adopt her." Anna said.

"You think she's planning something against us?" Grace asked.
