"Let's try the next one." Anna said and the seamstress along with her workers helped her try the new dress. After trying all of the dresses they had for her, Anna finally came to a conclusion. The bill was settled and the dress was to be brought home before the event starts.
Noah couldn't wait to steal her away and as if given the slightest chance, he snatched her hands in his and started walking her to his car. He took the key from the barker, offering him a little tips before getting into his car.
As usual, headlines were already all over the place from the paparazzi photos taken, but they were not enough to suppress Nari's news. The news of her still being a Sui shook the entire country and people asked questions here and there eager to know the truth.
They stared at both Anna and Nari's social media accounts like hawks ready for a little post or confirmation. Everyone wondered if Anna had forgiven Nari after the numerous public apology/ embarrassment. It would have been a shame if she didn't cause everyone was already talking about it.
Nari stared at her phone, reading through each headlines with a soft smile on her lips. If her two extra phone wasn't stolen from her, she would have been on her bunner accounts fueling the news more, Nari but her lips.
"How about this Kate, this would fit her for the event." Nari frowned staring at the local dress Kate was purchasing for her. She has never seen a non fashionable person in her life until now. How did this woman not know a thing about fashion yet Anna is the top one beauty queen and fashion goddess in the country.
Anna wears runaway clothes before they're even brought to the market. Though she's tried to keep up with that status, she just couldn't do it like Anna and it irked her that Anna was the better celebrity. Even if Nari had paid a few publications to always compare them and dim her the best, she knew she wasn't yet in that level.
"Mother, how about we try a different place. This place doesn't have any dress I need." Nari said sweetly trying to control the rage she felt inwardly. If she wanted her life back, she would have to be as humble as possible.
While in the company, she had also heard of Anna going into a few acting and making few appearances in movies, especially the new movie about to be released. Noah had invested more than half a billion, along with other investors. Anna is set to win one of the biggest award through that movie. Nari clenched her fist.
She will never let that happen. She'll make sure she gets that role and the award.
"Of course my dear, anything for you my darling." Kate smiled and they both left the boutique.
"Do you have any other place we could go to? Stallion is the only place I know." Kate asked and Nari smiled. "Back when I still had money, there is a place I usually go to. He isn't just my designer, but my friend too." She said enthusiastically.
Nari gave the driver directions on where to go to as she carried her new mother to the place she wanted a dress from. "We could get wonderful outfits for you and Aunt Grace " Kate smiled. She finally had a child of her own, never in her neice's life have she ever bought a dress for them. She was always too busy with Mack and her stupid career.
If Kate had enough power, she would give Nari everything Anna own. But it's not too late though. She can still do it now, a little black mailing and guilt tripping will get Anna to do whatever she wants. "Oh I'm sure Grace would love a new dress." Kate smiled and Nari returned it.
When they arrived at the little building also by the side of the road, Nari and Kate stepped out of the car and into the building. Like every mini fashion house it was beautiful, with beautiful dresses arranged from one side of the building to another. There were load of tailors and designers tossing colourful fabrics from one place to another, creating beautiful dresses eyes have never seen.
"I didn't know you would ever come here again after our last encounter, how are you doing Nari?" She heard a male voice from behind and she turned to look at him with the sweetest smile.
"Everyone ran away from me after what happened." Nari said.
"Our lives were not safe as well, but are you okay now?" Nari nodded. "This is my mother." She said proudly. Even if Kate lacked fashion sense, she still looked so presentable. She looked better than Nari's real mother, her biggest secret.
"It's so nice to finally meet you ma'am, I am Ben by the way. You have raised the world's best superstar." Kate smiled feeling more than proud of her new daughter.
"Of course." She said.
"We are attending an event tonight and need the best dresses you have for I and my mother." Nari needed Kate to be present with her. Not because she loved her too much, but so that she could confirm she was officially a Sui. Being a Sui means she was now untouchable, no one in the city dare hurt especially since she's automatically related to Noah Declan.
"I have 'Thee' best outfits you can imagine. But you'll need to tell me what king of event. It is a red carpet, a gala, a ball?" He asked. "Please come with me." Nari and Kate started walking behind him. Nari has always loved this man because of his sweet and sophisticated nature.
Ben led them through the stairs and they followed suit. "We have the best dresses one can find, the higher the price the better the dress." He opened a double door and different dresses came to view. They are the special dresses he has starked away from the eyes of commoners.
"Bring the dresses, prices don't matter." Nari said taking her seat as she took a glass of wine from a servant. Ben turned to look at her quizzically.
"I don't recall you having any money. The last time you were here to took a dress and never returned it." He said politely and Nari frowned.
"Don't you dare insult my daughter. You have no idea who you're talking to." Kate spoke up for her daughter glaring the man. Her pride wouldn't let her watch anyone bully her daughter. Nari is a Sui now, and will be protected as one.
"Don't waste your energy mother." Nari said softly. "I will be attending the grand opening of Eclipse entertainment, and I need to look the best. Especially since this would be my first appearance in weeks." Ben's eyes turned wide...
