They really had no idea when it how they got the colourful dust on their bodies. But they had both just gone through the most beautiful experience which had them almost forgetting the reason they were here in the first place.
"Where have we not checked yet?" Noah asked looking around. He was begining to lose hope gradually but he kept his cool. That stubborn wife of his, when he sees her, he'll make sure she doesn't leave his eyes even for a second.
"I think the film fest." Without another word, Noah started walking in that direction. This is the last place to check, his last hope in finding her tonight, he could only hope she's actually in the building.
His lazy eyes swooped among the crowd. "Hat, glasses." Noah muttered as he stared at everyone one after another.
Hell, there were so many people already wearing hats and glasses around. This is a festival, what was he thinking?
He moved forward, 'I'll take this section, you take the next, let's hope they're here. Alert us and don't let them leave if you eventually find them." Chalamet ordered the guards and started walking through the next section.
Noah took the entrance line before him and the three guards took the next lines. There were up to six line in the large theater room. Three steps forward, Noah could see the pink hat he was looking for. It was different from the rest of the other hats, classy and stand out.
Anna was always so bad at disguises especially for someone like him who knows the in and outs of her. He let out a small chuckle as he hoped he wasn't wrong.
He has searched almost everyone, all he wanted to do now is go up to the podium and interrupt the movie. He might get a few 'boo's' from the crowd, but nobody gives a flying fuck.
The further he got close to the slender looking figure, the more she looked like his Anna and when he got close... Noah's face contoured into the most hideous look ever.
Noah face turned sour and he felt like killing everyone in the building right now. He could maybe start from the girl that had dressed like his wife to decieve him.
"Uhm... B... Boss." One of the guards came to his side. The man was unable to speak because of how deadly Noah looked.
"I... I don't think madam is here." He managed.
"Tell my cousin to meet me in the car were leaving." He said coldly and started walking away. He couldn't believe his arrival here was in vein. How the hell will he find Anna in this huge city?
He wouldn't mind teaching the Sui's a few lessons they keep his wife away from him a week longer.
And when he finally get his hands on that naughty woman, he'll make her beg to be free from him.
Anna and Janjan walked out of the art fest exhausted. They hadn't thought of hiring a car or taxi to take them back home, though the fest is only a few walk away from their hotel.
Anna and Janjan were super happy they had come here, they've both had the best hours of their lives. "We're done here, next stop Transville." Janjan said.
The once clear evening sky suddenly turned cloudy and it rained heavily in a short time. People at the fest who could contain the rain began running back home. Others who couldn't stood beneath building with little shades.
Anna couldn't stand for long especially since she wasn't comfortable with water on her clothes. There was no use standing here when they could head back home and change into something dry, drink some hot coffee to chase away the cold and hide beneath their blanket.
"Let's start leaving Jan, I can't stay here any longer." Janjan nodded and they both started to run back to their hotel.
As they walked hastily, from a distance Anna saw a group of black cars approaching them. They both wanted to duck and take the next turn but it was already too late as all four cars surrounded them.
Anna's heart dropped at who she saw stepping out of the car. Even with the bright light from the car shadowing his face, she could still tell that was Noah a few steps away from her.
Noah had not only returned to his car after his last search, but he had paid the security men to let his men stand with them at the entrance of the gate waiting patiently for his wife to come out with hope she hadn't already left.
Even if she had left, he would have turned down the city to find her and take her home. Nothing would have stopped him, not even the heavy rain. He doesn't mind getting a fever, it's nothing compared to his wife.
Under the heavy raindrops two people were staring at each other, the anger than once circulated in Noah's heart dissipated the moment he set his eyes on his wife again.
Anna couldn't believe Noah was standing before her unblinkingly even if the rain got I to his eyes, he didn't take his eyes off her even for a second. They were both surrounded by bodyguards immediately but neither of them still made a move.
At the same time, Chalamet who had been with Noah all along sneaked to catch that sly demon of a girl he was now fallen head over heels for. Janjan who hadn't seen the man before was suddenly frightened by his presence.
What is he doing here? This cannot be happening to her. She thought that if she leaves, this man will forget about her, but she guess her thoughts has been a lie. Chalamet will never leave her alone.
