Chapter 106 FESTIVAL 2

1046words
During the time of the evening both Anna and Janjan stepped out of their room excitedly to attend their first festival together. It would be their last they in this city too since Janjan had bought tickets for the next city.

Anna had thought of rushing back home to get her card before they leave again. She would have to tell her grandfather to return the card to Noah himself since she's forbidden from seeing him.

The Gungutters festival wasn't just a music fest, it was an all round festival. For music, food, film, cultural and arts. It's one of the biggest festivals in the world for them.

"Here have this and this." Janjan passed the ice cream and drinks she had bought for them. They needed as much snacks as they can get because they would be spending a lot of time around.

"I think this is enough." Anna stared.

"Alright let's go."

"Woah! Janjan exclaimed at the few masquerades and their squad dancing to the beat of their own sound. They wore giant colourful custumes as they danced around.

Both girls laughed when one of the masquerade in question blew kisses to them. Anna brought out her phone and for the first time since they were here, she took pictures with the masquerade man.

"There's a rollercoaster around their corner." Anna pointed as the masquerade dancers moved forward. They hurried to pay the man in charge and took a ride.

"WOAHHHHHH!! Janjan screamed above her voice as she swung her hands in the air. Anna smiled at her childish friend, she wouldn't blame her. Janjan was deprived they happiness of a child because her father wanted her to be his successor, and when she didn't. He deemed her to be a useless child.

"This is the best day of my life." Janjan screamed as they got down from the ride.

As they moved further they had to stop at the food fest. There was so many good stand with so many people tasting the food.

"They sell taco's over there." Janjan dragged Anna over to the Taco woman's shop. "Can we have two plates please?" The woman smiled at the two girls.

She was an elderly woman with curly dark hair. One could see the curls even though she tied a head tie around her hair. While others had a few customers around them, she had a whole lot waiting in line for her taco's.

"Of course, they're 50bucks each." She said and Janjan nodded. She dipped her hands in Anna's purse to bring out the money.

"Keep the change." She said and took the two plates of tacos from the woman. "Please sir here and eat." The woman said and both girls did as asked. Once they were done with the taco's they went over to the ice cream stall where different ice-cream flavours were in display.

Anna licked her lips, she could already imagine the cold sugary taste on her tongue. Especially after having the taco's, she needed something to chill her tongues.

"We want ice cream." Janjan announced like a little child.

"What flavour do you need?" This time rather than an elderly man or an average looking old lady, it was a young boy that sold them the ice cream. He was cute with solid abs that reminded her so much of Noah.

"All the flavours in one." Janjan mused.

"And you pretty lady?"

"Just strawberry and strawberry toppings." Anna stated as she peeked around. She didn't know why she felt like somewhere in this place Noah was here, and he was watching her quietly.

If she sees him again... She didn't know what to feel, but she knew her heart might betrayal her, and probably her body. Her heart started raising so fast.

"Janjan, look the music fest just started, let's go over there." Anna tapped her friend.

"Why, we just started trying out good, besides my favorite musician wouldn't be out in like an hour." Janjan said. "Look at that yummy pastries over there, let's try it out." Janjan dragged Anna with her over to the next stall.

The bakers baked food looked so delicious. Not only did he baked bread and pastries, he baked cake too. "Anna, it's time to forget your past and focus on now. We can worry about anything when we get back home. Don't forget the reason we are here in the first place." Anna nodded at Janie's words.

Her friend is right, Noah probably hates her to come all the way here for her. He had signed those divorce papers himself and returned it in less than two hours.

"What would you love to taste young ladies, do you want to have a few samples before buying?" The man asked.

"Samples first." After reaching five stalls, both Anna and Janjan were out of breaths for the food they had eaten. They were full to the brim that they felt like their stomach would burst.

They dragged themselves over to the music fest but they didn't last long before going to the film fest. At the same time, Noah and Chalamet arrived at the Gungutters festival.

"This place is packed, how do we find them here?" Chalamet murmured.

"We have guards Chalamet, that's their job." Noah started walking in and Chalamet followed closely behind with the three bodyguards they have brought with them. It's the first both men were attending a festival and it didn't look bad as they thought.

"You, go this way, you that way, and you the other way. Alert me if you find my wife, she'll be with that friend of hers, we'll come right away." Noah ordered his guards and they all bowed before walking away. One entered the cultural fest, the other the music fest and another the food fest. Leaving Noah and Chalamet at the film and arts fest.

Even though Noah has been married to Anna for over a month, he doubts he knows what she likes and don't like. Rather than bonding like other married couple, they have been too busy putting their life on hold to get revenge on some nuisnace.

He sighed. Not anymore, once he finds that silly girl...

"Let's go this way first." Both men walked towards the arts fest.
