"Ma'am it's not to my doing. The card says insufficient funds." The cashier said. Anna who was standing there sighed in disappointment. They've been here for almost a week now and have spent all the money she had in that account.
Janjan had been the one to pack her bags and didn't carry the card with enough money in it.
"Try it again, that cannot be possible." Janjan yelled at the woman to see her try yet again it was declined. "Maybe it's a fake card or you have no money." The cashier said.
"You have no idea who you're talking to woman." Janjan raised her voice attracting the eyes of other people around to them.
"Fake card? What do you take us for scammers?" She sounded offended by the cashier's words.
"Do you know who this person is?" Janjan bragged pointing at her best friend and Anna froze. "Janjan." She called quietly.
"This is Anna Sui, the biggest influencer in the world, now tell me how it's possible her credit card will be fake?" Anna adjusted her hat and glasses to cover her face very well as she closed her eyes from the embarrassment they were going through. She quickly tugged on her friends sleeve.
"Janjan." She called soflty to save them from more embarrassment.
"No Anna let me talk. I need to teach this lady a lesson so that next time she knows who she's messing with. We've been using the card all week and never once faced any sort of embarrassment from anyone." Janjan glared at the cashier woman.
"It's not my fault you have no money in your account even after claiming your friend is someone so influential." The cashier woman said nonchalantly and Janjan gritted her teeth.
"It's alright Jan, we don't have money." Anna whispered to her friend whose eyes turned wide.
They didn't have money?
How will their live here?
How will they stay?
How will they eat?
How will they do anything?
But...
"How is there no money Anna?" She whispered back. She didn't even carry her credit card because she hadn't plan on going on any vacation with Anna. She only made the decision when she saw how down her friend was.
"I didn't put enough money in this account." Anna said apologetically.
"What do we do now?" Janjan bit her lips in embarrassment. If she knew they didn't have enough money, she would never have bought tickets for any festival. The tickets cost a fortune.
"I... I'm so sorry for the..."
"Please step aside ma'am we need to attend to other customers." The cashier said taking their bags from them. When Anna turned to look at the other customers her eyes went wide. There was a line of people there waiting for them to be done.
This is the most embarrassing thing she's ever faced in her life. And Janjan had blabbed to the cashier. "We're really sorry for..."
"We'll ask the security men to escort you both outside so that things don't get missing." Anna turned angry at the woman's words and in that moment she remembered the black card Noah had given to her. It's the thing she forgot to return to him when she signed the divorce papers.
She'll pay back when she gets back home, right now they have no choice but to use it. She had hoped she wouldn't use this card so that Noah wouldn't find out about her location, but she doubt he would come. He didn't visit her family mansion even she had been gone for days, why would he come all the way here.
"There'll be no need for that, here try this card." Anna handed the black card to the woman whose eyes and Janjan's went wide. The Declan name was boldly written on it.
"Y... You would have told me you were here with a Declan rather than lying to me miss." The cashier woman laughed nervously as she stared at Anna who didn't utter a word to her. She was scared for her life, one word from a Declan and you would lose your job.
Who didn't know the Declan's? The most powerful family in the world, yet their identity hadn't been revealed to anyone. Never in her life did she ever think someone as powerful as the Declan would appear in their shop.
"I... I'm so sorry for the inconveniences ma'am." The cashier bowed in respect returning the card to Anna but neither Anna or Janjan responded to her, they only picked their bags and walked away.
"Okay what was that?" Janjan asked her friend.
"I don't know, I only gave her Noah's card." Anna shrugged.
"Woahhhhhh."

Paul ran as fast as he could to his boss office. He had tried calling Noah on the phone to give him the location of his madam, but Noah wasn't picking up. He barely picks up his phone this days and it's so frustrating, especially when the message you have to relay is urgent.
Paul let out a deep sigh when he found no one in the office. Where could Noah be?
He immediately called the security to ask if he left the office, but they all said he was still around, so where could he be?
Paul found his way to the roof top only to find Noah standing there staring at the city from up there. But he wasn't alone, Chalamet was standing right next to him. Paul gripped his phone harshly and as if Chalamet noticed his hard glare, he turned and smiled.
"Look who's here to visit." Chalamet said and his cousin turned to see his assistant walk towards them. "Hmm." Noah hummed blowing the sweet smoke into the air and Paul quickly, like an innocent child used his hands to blow away the thick smoke from his face.
He watched his boss draw another long sip before letting it all out again. "S... Sir." He called ignoring Chalamet's suspicious eyes. He had feared the man after discovering a lot of barbaric things about him, especially the real reason his parents sent him away.
He would always say this, unlike Noah's dangerous family, he's quite the opposite of them. He acts more civilly than the rest of his family.
"S... Sir ther are rules that say we aren't allowed to smoke in the organization." Paul adjusted his glasses as he used his hands to blow away another think air. He isn't a smoker or an alcoholic, he has never had the taste of a cigarette in his life and don't think he will ever try it.
He's tried drinking bear and didn't like it like the rest.
"That's why I'm at the roof top." Noah shrugged.
"B... But the rooftop is also a part of the building." Noah had laid the rules himself cause he didn't know something would make him go back to his cigarettes again.
"Why are you here?" He asked Paul lazily and as if recalling, Paul smiled. "We've found madam and miss Shen's location."
"Where are they?" Chalamet demanded.
"Gungutters festival." Noah said nonchalantly for Paul's eyes to go wide. He had just discovered a few moment when Anna made that transaction. He could already guess that woman was in the most tight situation to use his card.
Paul eyed his boss stylishly, he made him work for days when he already knew where his madam was? Howuch more heartless can this man be?
"But for trying Paul, you get a promotion to being my assistant." Noah picked his phone and started walking away. Paul just stood rigid wondering if he should inform Noah he's already his assistant and don't need anymore promotion.
The only thing he desires most is a vacation. Just a two days vacation.
Paul watched his boss and his cousin silently till their figures both varnished from his eyes...
