"Stand up Anna let's eat." Janie's voice could be heard but Anna didn't bulge. She rather turned to the next side and continued her sleep. It's been a whole week since they left their home in search for happiness they were yet to find.
Though Anna found peace and some time alone from her family's nagging and all that, she still felt so empty. She wondered if Noah felt that way too. Even if she has told herself not to think about him she couldn't stop thinking. She has trained herself to be mad at him for keeping such huge secrets from her but she couldn't stay mad for even a day.
Yes, Noah's family did something that terrible, but it's already been more than ten years now. She sure even her parents have forgiven her.
A part of her wants to betray her family, her grandfather and be with Noah, another side doesn't want that. Noah is her family too, she's legally married to him no matter what.
Noah has been nothing but so kind to her. He has done so many good for her. He helped her get her revenge against Mack and Nari, something even her family could not do. They had supported Mack then and called her a liar.
"Anna." Janjan called again to see her best friend lift herself from the bed sluggishly as she stepped into the bathroom.
After breakfast together both ladies decided to step out of their rooms. They have been to three different state in a week and even wanted to go to more. "First we get the beads for the festival today and later we ship for new clothes." Janjan swung the two tickets in her hands.
The Gungutters festival is one of the biggest festival in the world. Both Janjan and Anna had dreamed of attending, but they never get the chance to go together. They saw now as a big opportunity to fulfill their dream.
"Mr, how much is this bead?" Janjan asked the trader who displayed lot's of beautiful beads on his little table there.
"They're for very affordable prices, pick anyone you need ma'am." Both girls started selecting till they found matching bracelet for their liking.
"This will do, so how much is it?"
"Three cents each ma'am." Anna opened her purse to bring out a note and handed it to him. "Keep the change." She said as they walked away.
"Anna Sui? Am I right." I turned around to see a beautiful girl standing before her and she smiled.
"Yes." She responded.
"Oh my God I can't believe it. I'm Ling Yu, your biggest fan. I held the justice for Anna campaign in this city, who knew I would meet you here?" She jumped for joy.
"Let's not scream to attract the eyes of others." Janjan said to see the girl turn calm. The last thing they need is attracting too much attention on their selves. If Ling Yu held a campaign, it only means Anna is super popular around here. It would be a disaster if more people found them, especially since they were alone without a bodyguard or any security.
Can I get a picture please?" Ling Yu asked.
"Of course." She stood next to Anna as she took a selfie. "Thank you so much." They saw her run away till she disappeared among the crowd of people moving to and fro.
"How sweet." Janjan muttered staring at the part the little girl ran through.
"Let's get you glasses and hat so that no one else recognizes you." Janjan quickly said to her friend as both ladies crossed the road to get the hat and glasses.
After their purchase, Anna quickly wore her glasses and hat before more people recognize her. She had thought about hiding herself before, but she never thought people would recognize her outside of her city.
Noah hadn't just revived her career, he had upgraded her status from an influencer, to that of a celebrity. A known celebrity world-wide.
"This is huge Anna, you're now a big star outside of summerlane." She bit her lips at Janjan's words.
"I know I said Noah's an asshole many times, but don't you think he wouldn't do all this if he truly doesn't love you?" She had thought of it. Noah has told her many times about his feelings and even promised to wait until she fell in love with him too.
"He signed the divorce papers so quickly." A man who loves wouldn't sign the papers that quick, it's almost like he was waiting for the paper to be given.
"We don't know if he signed it. We didn't even check it." Came Janjan's words.
"L... Let's get the outfit we need or we'll miss the festival?" Both ladies walked into another store to get the simplest outfit they could find. They didn't arrive with heavy luggage and box and they aren't planning on leaving with that.
After moving through the whole store, Anna and Janjan's finally came up with their attires. Anna gave the woman at the counter her card as they waited for her to complete their payment.
.
.
While both ladies shopped for their outfits. Paul and his group of hackers stared at their system patiently. They have been like this for days now, praying and hoping that Anna would start posting pictures and videos of her trips.
It's not like they couldn't tract her cellphone or Janjan's. But both ladies have decided to switch off their phone and turned off every access to them.
She is a celebrity now, Paul didn't know why no one on the internet has seen or found his madam. He was exhausted from all the stress and Noah isn't giving him space to rest.
His boss has been more than serious with work these past few days. Appearing in the office so early and not leaving till he's completed his work for the day. He was back to his old life of marrying his work again.
The man Anna Sui had turned him into...
"We found something." One of the men there said drawing Paul's attention.
"This girl just took a picture with Anna Sui."
"Gungutters festival."
