"Any news, any thing?" Noah asked his assistant who just stepped in.
"I'm afraid not sir, neither madam or miss Shen were seen at the airport or bus station. Our people would have alerted you if anything." Paul said calmly.
"Did you check the local bus?" Noah clicked his tongue turning impatient. He didn't even have the chance to talk to his wife and explain everything to her. This stupid separation is all a misunderstanding. What even drives him so mad is the fact she had said in the document to return everything he gave to her.
"Just where the fuck are you my sweet girl." He muttered, already feeling depressed and frustrated at her disappearance. Maybe if he had felt this way with any other woman he would have known what to do, but all of these emotions were eating him up.
Just when he thought he found the right person. The one person he's ready to spend the rest of his life with, she became his stupid grandfather's survivor.
He didn't ask the old man to be clumsy when he was still very young, why the hell is he paying for the foolish man's sins.
And that general.... Oh that little cunning pussy... He's pretty sure he's made this whole thing such a big deal and forced Anna to divorce him. He knows that old cunning man so well. A manipulative man.
Taking Anna back to her family is the biggest mistake he's made in his life.
"Her number?" Noah asked. He as tried himself and they said they couldn't reach her.
"Switched off." Paul responded.
"Social media accounts?"
"Deactivated."
"GOD DAMN IT!!! Noah smashed his phone on the floor. It would be the fifth phone he has smashed in a day.
Paul stated at his boss pitifully, he has never seen this man in this state before. He wish he could help, but nothing can help in the matters of love, only the people involved know how to settle their differences.
For his boss and his madam, he still couldn't understand why they were both fighting. They were just all lovey-dovey in the office the other day and the next he heard was that she was staying in her parents house. Now she wants a divorce?
"Don't stop searching Paul, and tell me when you find a clue." Noah said.
"Yes boss." He saw Paul hurry out of his office and he closed his eyes. Noah let out another long sigh after another trying to relax and think rationally but every thought made him panic.
.
Meanwhile in the Shen family mansion, "What do you mean you searcbed the entire airport and couldn't find her." Mr Shen yelled at his assistant on the phone. Maroon couldn't bring himself to tell Shen he had indeed helped his daughter in escaping.
His little miss is a troublesome girl, she always used him for her dirty business since he delivers a clean job. He bit his bottom lips holding himself from spilling anything to Shen. If he does, Shen will get her back in no time, but he would be punished secretly by her.
He didn't want her trouble anymore.
"I'm so sorry sir." Maroon maintained a clam demeanor as he spoke to his boss on the phone. "We'll continue our search and make sure we find her."
"YOU BETTER!!! IF I DON'T FIND MY DAUGHTER YOU'RE DEAD!!! shen hung up and threw his phone on the table.
"Please calm down sweetheart, you don't have to shout, your health isn't all that good." Mia brought a glass of water to him and he quickly gulped all of it.
"If only that stupid girl is as reasonable as you. All she wants is to kill me, she can't even handle half of my companies." He clicked his tongue. Just when he found the right son in law for his family, his daughter suddenly goes missing.
Shen gritted his teeth, if he finds that girl, he'll make sure he kills her with his bare hands.
.
"You're back so late Mack." Henry asked his son who had the worst expression on his face.
"My boss asked me to do a few work since I resumed today." Mack said calmly. He took the glass of water Nari got for him and gulped it all down to patch his dry throat. He had trekked down from the company down to this slumb since didn't have the money for bus fair.
Mack still couldn't believe this is his life now. He's been reduced to a mere errand boy for Noah Declan.
"You have a job?" Nari asked a little surprised herself. Did he not go to Noah's office as said this morning? How did he get a job.
"You're working with me to. My boss asked to bring as many of us still able to work. Father, you could be a door man or a glass washer." He ry frowned at his son's words.
"Is this some kind of joke? Do I looked like a joke to you? Don't you dare upset me Mack." He yelled glaring at his son. How dare he work as a cleaner, a well know billionaire reduced to a cleaner because of his useless son.
Henry has tried to be calm all this while, but he was gradually losing it. He didn't like the life he lived, he isn't an understanding person. He knew when Mack suddenly sold their company something wasn't right but he hadn't thought too deep since it had increased their net worth.
He felt frustrated, no one he knows has agreed to help him or his family. They're all scared of getting into the bad book of Noah Declan.
"What's going on Mack?" Nari asked staring at him suspiciously.
"Mr Declan said there's nothing he can do for our lives to go back to the way it was. He has been too generous to offer us a job."
