Maybe if he had told her, it would have made the whole situation maybe... Better? Maybe she wouldn't be this mad at him? Maybe she would have forgiven him and his family from stealing her parents away from her?
Anna blinked many times to stop herself from crying further. She has been crying all night, her eyes were already so swollen from all that. She looked messier than she did with Mack.
Noah betrayal was killing her slowly and she hated she was feeling this way. It hurt more than she did for Mack. Maybe she really is in love with Noah. Who's kidding she is, she's so In love with him that she can't imagine a future without him.
It's supposed to be a six months thing, but now it's grown to a forever thing. "No." Anna cried softly into her hands.
"Come one Anna, have a little coffee, you can't keep crying for that man." Janjan said calmly almost crying too.
"I can't breathe Janjan. It's suffocating, it hurts so much." She sobbed softly. She is tied on a cross road between her family and Noah, she couldn't abandoned her family, she'll never forgive herself and she couldn't live without Noah, she'd kill herself.
"Let's go out today, let's have girls time out. We could plan a trip to get the stress out of your head." Janjan suggested. She didn't like seeing Anna this way, this is worst than the time the whole word ridiculed her. She was scared for Anna.
She had come here with the intention of telling about the abomination that happened between her and Chalamet, but now, her little fairytale can wait. Anna needs her now.
"What if Noah signs the papers what do I do?" Anna asked.
"You move on just like would. You're so beautiful Anna, he'll regret why he left you." Janjan said.
"But I divorced him." Anna said. She was completely lost and didn't know what to think or do anymore. She was bad at relationship, it's high time she accepts it.
"Alright stand up take your bath, we need to leave this shit hole this minute." Janjan dragged her best friend from the bed and Into the bathroom. If she would be told one day a inexperienced girl like her would be a relationship coach, she wouldn't believe. But she knew one thing was sure, Anna is always right in this.
She would support Anna to the end of the world and back.
Janjan packed a few clothes into her box and prepared other clothes for her to wear. Her life has to pause till Anna is fully recovered. She couldn't stand to do nothing while her friend die from heartbreak.
Janjan helped pick the right dress for Anna to wear once she was done bathing. This wouldn't be the first time she was running away from home. Her father had Mia to be so worried about her. She would only communicate with them the moment they're out of the country.
"Where are we going to?" Anna asked staring at the little box Janjan has packed.
"On an impromptu vacation. You need it Anna, after all of these stress. Let's get you fixed before you return, fighting a man your love would be draining, you need energy." Anna nodded. She didn't protest cause she knew Janjan wouldn't listen even if she tried.
"Did you get tickets?" Anna asked to see her friend smile. "I ask my dad's assistant Marron to help me with quick tickets and he came through. Don't worry no one would know where we are."
Both girls stepped out of the room, it would be the first time Anna has stepped out since she signed the divorce papers. Her aunties haven't let her leave, neither have they let anyone come in, she still didn't know how Janjan got in.
"Where are you two going to?" Katherine's voice was heard from the stairs and both girls stared up at her.
"We're heading out Aunt Kathy." Janjan said sweetly. She didn't like Kathy out of Anna's aunt, this one was too strict for her. She preferred the soft Grace who understands them.
"Where to?" Kathy asked sighting the little box in Janjan's hands.
"On a trip." Janjan said with a bright smile, hoping she wouldn't oppose, but as usual, "You're not going anywhere, not with my neice." Kathy said.
"Just let them go Kate, Anna needs this trip more than anyone, we'll handle the necessary things ourselves. Go along dear, have fun." Grace said from the other side of the stairs. She was finally glad Janjan was able to bring her neice out of her bedroom.
Anna being locked up in there made her worry so much.
"Your ex husband returned the divorce papers Anna, it's waiting for you on the table. Check it out and see if he's signed it or not so that we can think of another method to bend that boy." Anna heart broke further.
So soon? Noah didn't even keep it for a week, he didn't even think about her before signing it.
"Don't check it now, you'll do that when we get back. Everything about the divorce can wait till we get back." Janjan said calmly and dragged her friend away. She had chosen to take a small box so that people wouldn't suspect they were both running away.
She wasn't just doing this for Anna, she also needed this vacation to at least stay away from Chalamet and his madness. That man had used mere seductive words to almost have sex with her. She needed air, little breathing space.
They both stepped into Janjan's car and headed for the seaport. They couldn't use the airport for getting caught by the Shen family, the sea is the safest. No one would find them here, one Janjan was scared of big water so her father wouldn't even think of this place.
Once both girls were settled in, Janjan poured a glass of wine in two glasses, "To our new single lives." She raised a toast.
"To our new single life." Anna responded and took a sip of her drink, she smacked her lips and in the next second gulped all of the liquid down her throat. The took the lid off the glass and started drinking it's content freely. Drinking is how she deals with whatever was bothering her, both she and her husband are full blown drunkards and they both loved their flaws. She smiled at her thoughts, soon the smile turned into a frown.
Noah doesn't love her like she thought he does. Like he says he does. An opportunity comes and he's already ready to divorce her.
"You're lucky there's a lot more where that came from." Janjan smiled at her friend. Both girls started drinking to the point where Janjan couldn't take it anymore and passed out. But Anna didn't stop and until she was fully drunk, she didn't let the bottle go.

When Lola arrived at the Sui's mansion it was already too late, she was told Anna had gone on a trip. But she wasn't told what country she had gone to. She forwarded the message to Noah and surprisingly he was as calm as always.
She didn't know what was going on with them, but she hoped it isn't a breakup. Maybe they're having their issue and she hoped everything would be resolved soon.
Noah stood at the roof top of his company with a glass of whiskey in his hands, the same could be said about Chalamet who was pretty upset too his plan didn't go as planned.
Both men had the most relaxed expression on their faces as they stared at the city ahead in silence. Both their brains calculating the country both women must have run to. Knowing Anna, Noah knew she wouldn't decide this, it's probably Janjan that has convinced her to run.
"Keep your woman away from mine." Both men said at once staring at each other.
