"When did I ever say I would give you your life back? You're not worth four billion." Noah said coldly staring right into his eyes.
"Please Mr Declan, I know I wronged your wife and offended her in the worst ways, please tender justice with mercy. We've learnt our lesson." Mack fell on his knees begging another man for the first time in his life.
He has tried to look for loop hole, anything to use against Noah, but he found none. The man got nothing on him, no one can take him down. That's how powerful he is.
He knew Noah is the one frustrated them. No one has agreed to help them because they're all terrified of his wrath. He wouldn't blame them, Noah has striped him of his billions in the blink of an eye. He lost everything he thought he owned and would never lose.
"The only job I can give you in this city is that of a cleaner and nothing more. I'm being generous Mack Yong you should be grateful." Noah clicked his tongue. "For a useless person, you sure have some nerves to tell me where to pitch you. Or do you want to be my rag boy, I could clean my feet on your clothes." Noah's cold voice rang.
He was already so angry at the divorce papers he received from Anna. Taking out all of his anger on Mack is the best thing.
"I... I'm sorry."
"You're a man. A provider. Your parents really need you now for their drugs. I don't want to see you close to my wife." Noah rose to his feet, picked his phone and keys before walking out of his office with the divorce papers in his hands.
That sly woman. He clicked his tongue at his thoughts. Her grandfather must have told her about everything his grandfather did. Now he has to drag that old man to settle whatever scores he has with the Sui's.
He cannot lose his wife because of some stupid family issues that has been left unsettled for years.
Did Anna really think she could escape from him? Noah stopped walking when his hands touched his door knob. He turned his head gently to stare at the man on the floor, "You resume work today. Me office is off limit, get out." Mack rose immediately, he saw Noah move away from the door and he opened it and stepped out.
As Mack walked through the stairs, he glanced at Noah using the elevator. He was on a call as he walked into the elevator. "Get Anna out of that house which ever way you can." Noah said.
"Yes boss." Lola responded and found her way into the car.

"Here have more tea." Mia asked the young man. If she has found a man like Chalamet before she met Shen, she would have easily picked him. Oh her step daughter is so lucky. Mia rubbed her swollen tummy.
"Thank you." Chalamet smiled at the woman.
"What are your intentions for my Janie?" Shen went straight to the question. He has waited for someone to ask her hands in marriage already to he could rid of that girl. It's still surprising a man like Chalamet would find Janjan attractive.
It must be because of her closeness to Anna, maybe hanging with Anna isn't a bad idea after all.
"I want to marry her." Chalamet went straight to the point with beating around the bush. Since Shen was direct, it was time for him to be direct too. That little demon, let's see how far you can run for. He thought.
"Is she aware of this?" Mia asked with narrowed eyes.
"That's why I'm telling you. Though I've told her about it, she rejected me immediately." She said pitifully. "Mr Shen, no, father in law, I really love Janjan so much. I can do anything to make her my wife." Chalamet said sweetly.
He has been a player for so long, he has hurt so many women, but Janjan was different. She's been the only one to not throw herself at him, the only one that wants him to stay away from her. The only woman that finds him disgusting. And he loved her.
It isn't supposed to be this way, but there's nothing he can do about it. He loves her now and that's all that matters.
Once upon a time, he never believed in love, but right now, he is a pro in love. If his cousin, that foolish love hater can love, who is he... A profound lover boy.
"We'll get her right away. How dare she reject you?" Shen said angrily.
"Mia, go get that useless daughter of yours. This is why I say you should stop defending and supporting her bad behaviour." Mia rushed out of their lounge to go get her daughter in law. Janjan also needs a few scolding from her for not telling her about Shen earlier.
Though she had broken her mother and father's marriage, it didn't mean both ladies didn't get along. The actual reason Shen even married her was to satisfy his sexual need and give him a son since his first wife is too sick to. She was far older than him when they got married, it's normal now she has load of sickness fighting to destroy her completely.
She loves Shen and her step daughter that's all that matters to her.
"I'm so sorry for whatever my daughter have done. I assure you, she'll be your wife, you don't have to worry about a thing." Shen said to his son-in-law.
"It's alright father in law. It only proves my wife isn't like any of the cheap girls on the street. She's created perfectly for me." Chalamet smiled.
"Why is that woman taking so much time?" Shen complained. Chalamet saw Mia step back into the room without Janjan and he frowned slightly.
Mia held both her hands together biting her bottom lips. She had been contemplating how to tell her husband Janjan has run away. She'll surely kill Janjan herself for this embarrassment.
"Where is Janie, what took you so long?" Shen asked impatiently.
"She's not in her room, I can't find her in any part of the house." Chalamet frown deepened.
