Mack spent more time talking about Anna since their breakup than he does to her even if she was carrying his child. He barely pays attention to her and was always looking for ways to win Anna back
"What are you talking about Nari?" Veronica raised her voice a little at her daughter in law.
"H... He shouldn't go close to that woman." Nari shook her head gently. She's loved Mack all her life, she couldn't afford to lose him. Even if she was greedy and selfish, she wasn't all of those things when it came to Mack. She's ready to be a different person for him.
"Drop your jealousy aside, this is not the time for that. Mack would do whatever it takes to get us out of here even if it means getting back with Anna. I don't see a use of you in this place anyway." Veronica started.
"Since Anna left everything about our lives have been downhill. You're badluck to us Nari. You caused this in the first place." She yelled.
"That's enough sweetheart." Henry tried to calm his wife, placing his hands on her shoulder but she shook it off of her.
"No, it's not. It time someone put her in her place. Do you want us to keep staying here or do you want us out?" Veronica scoffed. "I've always known you to be a selfish slot Nari, but I never thought even till now you'd still think about yourself. I haven't taken my drugs in weeks, what more do you want?"
"That's enough mother Nari isn't the only cause of this, I am too. Yell at me, curse me too, it still wouldn't change a thing." Mack said.
"She deceived you into it. The earlier you realize how sly and demonic this woman is, the better for us all. Anna is a better daughter in law." Veronica rose and stepped out of the house. Nari on the other hand started sobbing for Mack to pull her close.
"Why does mother suddenly hate me so much? I've done everything asked of her and the family. I've helped in the little way I can." She cried.
"That's alright, she has no idea what she's saying." Mack hugged her. Even he didn't believe his words, he had no idea what has gotten into his mother, Nari used to be like her daughter. She would even fight him for Nari most times.
"The earlier you both apologize to her, the better for everyone." Henry walked out of the room in search of his wife leaving Mack and Nari alone in the room.
"They're right, we'll have to find Anna and apologize Nari."
"I won't do that Mack, I won't humiliate myself even more."
"I know you don't want that, but we have no more options. We'll have to drop out pride and apologize or find someone else. Someone who would help us out of this no matter the condition." There must be someone, someone who hates Noah more than life itself. Someone who would help them out.

"There is a car parked at the entrance of the mansion, whose car is that and why is he not coming in." Mr Shen peeked through his window to see who it is.
"I don't think I've seen that car before." Mia said rubbing her belly. "Maybe Janie would know who the owner is." She suggested.
She has been the one to usher her step daughter in from her late coming after she found a job. Mia had suspected Janie's new job to be a man, but when she asked Janjan, she had denied it completely.
Who knew her suspicions could be true.
"Jan dear." She called out.
"Don't bother, I'll check myself." Shen stepped out of his mansion adjusting the black robe on his body.
Meanwhile, Chalamet who has been in the car for over an hour texting and calling Janjan to come out of her house stepped out of the car too. She has refused to pick his calls or reply to his text for three days now and he wanted to know what was wrong.
The girl is running away from him no doubt, and he didn't like it one bit.
Chalamet was almost at the entrance of the mansion when, "Who are you and what are you doing in my mansion?" An elderly man with a strong expression asked. Behind him is a pregnant young girl, she could be in her late twenties early thirties.
Old men get tired of their wives during the years and find someone young and better to be with. It happened with his father, that's what separated his family.
"I'm Chalamet Declan, I'm here to see a girl named Janjan." He went straight to the point. He could understand old men were easily intimidated by young blood like him, but he didn't mind showing off a little physique.
"My Janie is inside, are you the man she talked about?" Mia beemed eyeing the handsome man herself. She had been jealous Janjan's friend could bag a man as handsome as Noah Declan while Janjan is stucked with little boys who only want to take advantage of her. But she was glad a rich man was here now.
"By any chance are you related to the Declan family?" Shen asked to see the young man nod. His greedy eyes scanned the man. How did his ugly daughter find such a man? He's sure he would end up being the one begging suitors to come to her.
"The person you're looking for is my daughter."
"Ahh, then I'm in the right place." Chalamet clapped.
"Good evening father in law." Chalamet greeted the elderly man with a big smile.
He would deal with that little woman in his own way, at his own time.
