Nari turned off the comment section of her live video cause of the nasty comments and curses everyone rained on her. Since their press conference apologizing to Anna Sui wasn't enough, they decided to use another method.
With the little money they had, Mack decided to spread their apology video around the country so that Noah would see it and finally accept it. He could only hope that man would accept this.
"Do you think he would love this, we just embarrassed ourselves even more apologizing again." Veronica asked her son. She turned to her husband Henry, but the old man didn't see a word to her.
He hasn't said a word since he met Anna last night. The shock he faced didn't allow him speak. Veronica could only hope for the best this time, she was tired of living in the slump like this place.
It is enough her friends were already mocking her but for the world to join in too...
"Let's hope he doe..." Mack wasn't done talking when his phone beeped. A text from Noah and his heart skipped. He has never been this scared of anyone in his life.
Maybe because no one had the key to his future, but right now, whatever his tomorrow would be will be determined by Noah Declan. A man he has never seen in his entire life up until recently.
Though he's heard a few things about him, he had tried to avoid the man at all cost. Who knew one day the devil will come for him, all because of Anna Sui.
Mack opened his phone and, "Apology not accepted." He could feel his whole world crumble before him. The last hope he had, the last piece of glass that protected his heart shattered to pieces.
Noah yawned as he stared into his phone. He still couldn't get his head off the thought of what had happened last night. He should have known the general is another cunning 'bitch' just like his grandfather, no wonder they both hate each other.
Running to his granddaughter like he did nothing with that big mouth of his and his naive wife had fallen for it.
If he had met Anna like every normal person and wanted to get married to her the normal way, he wondered if the general would even let him close to his family.
He sighed. Anna wasn't picking his calls and his little patient is slowly slipping away. He could just stomp back into that mansion and steal her away, but he wanted to respect her privacy.
"Sir." Paul walked in calmly.
"Where have you been Paul?" Noah asked staring at the man. It's the first time he's noticed a little wrinkle beneath his eyes. Paul looked stressed from whatever is going on in his life, but Noah knows more than anyone it's not work. He only hopes he isn't in a battle field with his cousin, Chalamet will never give up that Janjan girl for anything.
They are similar when it comes to loving someone. They could kill to be with the one they love.
"I had a few personal issues to attend to." Paul stated.
"What do you have for me?" Noah asked not wanting to find out about anything else. He has his life and angry wife to take care of. What irked him the most is his Anna believing her grandfather over him.
But it's not her fault. She saw a gun pointed to her grandfather's head. She's known him for just three months, and her family, since she was born. It's obvious she would trust them over him. He picked his glass to drink only to find it empty.
Noah picked the bottle of whiskey on his table only to find it empty too. Just how much has he drank? He sighed.
"The Yong's have issued another apology." Paul announced.
"Where?" Noah's nonchalant expression could be seen.
"A few minutes ago, Nari went on live with 100 thousand people on her live apologizing to madam with the rest of the Yong's." He passed the iPad to Noah and he watched the video.
"Fools." Noah muttered.
"Send it to the broadcast station and make it go viral, it's still not accepted." He said. "Also, I need Mack's number." Paul handed the number to Noah before leaving the office.
While alone, Noah texted Mack."

"What did he say?" Veronica asked eagerly.
"He said it's not accepted and that I should meet him in his office tomorrow alone." Mack responded and dropped on the floor. This was their last shot and they all had to make their apology as believable as possible, but it seems Noah Declan can still see through it all. He knows their apology is not genuine enough.
"So what do we do now? We have a million dollar debt awaiting us, how do we even pay that?" Nari said, almost in tears.
She would have left when she had the time to, but she loves Mack too much to leave. Though she thinks about running away, but that'll always end in her thoughts. She still wanted to believe everything will get better, everything will be fine.
"I knew he wasn't going to do anything. That man just wants to punish Mack for disrespecting his wife." Henry Yong finally spoke after a full day of going silent.
"What are you talking about?" Veronica asked her dear husband.
"The only way we can all be free again, is to seek apology from Anna herself." Henry said.
"I will never apologize to that girl." Veronica spat.
"Not you, them." Henry pointed at his son and Nari. "She might still have a little kindness for you, or who knows if she still loves you. Use this chance, talk to her directly to talk to her husband."
"No, Mack will not go close to that girl." Nari said.
