The next day came by but Noah didn't let his wife leave the mansion. Not after everything that happened the day before, he wouldn't let her go through that again. He instead had asked Lola to bring different outfits for her to choose from.

Since she wanted to attend Henry Yong's birthday party, he had arranged everything for her just so that she wouldn't step out of the mansion for the time being.

"Do you like this, or this?" Lola held two dresses in her hands as she flaunted them before Anna to pick the one she liked out of it. Anna had initially thought of wearing a white dress, but now she saw the black one, she wanted it so badly also.

"Let her wear the dresses, we'll pick whichever suits the occasion." Noah who was sitting there watching them silently said and both ladies agreed to it. It was better that way, anyone that seemed more fitting would be the one she would pick.

Anna wore the black dress first. She didn't mind changing before Noah and Lola, since Noah was her husband and Lola is a woman like her.

"How is this?" She asked both people who hadn't said a word to her.

"It's beautiful," Lola exclaimed staring at the dress. She had almost forgotten Anna was a model and it was normal for her body to fit into any clothing.

"How about you sweetheart?" Anna asked Noah who didn't compliment her dress.

"Let's try another one." He said and Lola brought out the next outfit.

Anna changed into the white dress to see her hubby frown slightly. Can she not look this good in any dress?

If he had his way, he would have locked her inside his room and hide her away from everyone. How can a woman be this perfect?

"How about this?" Anna asked with a smile but Noah didn't smile back at her. He had an unexplainable frown on his face.

When he had asked Lola to get her something to wear, he hadn't meant these clothes. As much as he wanted Anna to look good, he wanted her to be looking this good next to him and no one else. He couldn't imagine the gazes of other men on her.

"It's perfect ma'am," Lola responded.

"You look so beautiful," Noah confessed even if his frown didn't settle.

"Do you really have to go to this party?" He asked and Lola could sense the jealousy in the man's voice. Noah was shameless when it came to things of the heart, he always expressed his feelings without feeling the need to sugarcoat his words.

"I already told you why I have to go." She rolled her eyes at him.

Back at the Yong's family mansion, everything was set and ready for Henry Yong's 60th birthday party.

While everyone was already gathered in the hall talking and introducing themselves, Nari made her grand entrance like she had been practicing for a while now.

She moved elegantly in a beige-pink strapless dress, clear and delicate. Slim and graceful, moving to the extreme.

The moment she arrived she attracted many awestruck and devious eyes.

With a smile in her eyes, she looked at ease as she conversed with the powerful people Mack had invited. As if she noticed his gaze, she looked at him and smiled Innocently and Mack returned it.

Tonight wasn't just Henry's night. Tonight, Mack is going to announce their engagement to the world as well as his net worth. Anna has been on the news for two weeks now, it was her turn to trend. Nari couldn't just wait for the outcome of tonight.

She had purposely asked Mack to invite Anna after everything her family did to him, just so that she could see her face when Mack made their relationship public. Nari is the most excited person in the room.

"You look so beautiful, Nari." The woman said and she smiled.

Nari's eyes showed pride as she raised her chin.

The words of praise all around her and admiration from all around her greatly satisfied her overwhelming vanity.

Even if she was already three months pregnant, her baby bump was yet to surface, so she was safe for tonight. That is one of the reasons she had asked Mack to announce their marriage quickly.

Mack who was standing in a corner stared at the door every now and then as if waiting for someone to step in.

Once upon a time, Anna used to love him so much to the point she was so obsessed with him. She had embarrassed herself online once because of him.

She would stay awake at night just to wait for him to get back home, but Mack didn't value her.

Most times he would find her drunk on the couch, other times on the bed. He was never intimate with her because Nari asked him not to be.

Yesterday he thought he had a chance, but the way Anna had hugged that man. Mack gritted his teeth staring at his broken wrist.

He wondered what really changed Anna from the sweet person she used to be to someone he doesn't know anymore.

When his family had asked him what had happened to his wrist, he told them he had fallen from the stairs. No one knew he had been the one to set the paparazzi just to get back with Anna, but she still rejected him.

Mack didn't want to believe she has moved on. He didn't want to believe she was in love with the man she hugged yesterday. He didn't want to believe she didn't love him anymore.

Still lost in his thoughts, he heard a sudden burst of exclamation from the doorway, making everyone to turn to the doorway to see what big shot had arrived.

Under the gaze of countless pairs of eyes, a woman slowly appeared at the doorway.

It was a very young woman with the sweetest smile hanging on her lips, and a warm look on her face, in a long blue dress that reflected her smooth complexion and matched her eyes.

When it was time to prepare for the party, Noah had brought this blue dress for her and Anna loved it immediately. He said the dresses weren't his style and he wanted her in something else. He had also given her the jewelry at the auction and Anna loved it.

In truth, Noah changed the dress, not because they weren't good enough, but because they were too revealing. He asked Paul to get something else, and luckily, the man had found something more beautiful.

Back in the ballroom, Anna stared at everyone in the hall.

At first glance, almost everyone was choked by the sense of awe that greeted them.

"Isn't that Anna Sui?" Murmurs began.

"She's so beautiful."

"She's a goddess."

"People get cursed with other things, her curse is beautiful so beautiful."

The jealous women in there eyed her cause of the attention she stole, and the nosey ones went to gather in groups to talk about her.

Anna Sui, a celebrity to celebrities.

They couldn't believe she was here in flesh and blood. All of the photographers stationed around came together to get the perfect picture of her. Anna attending Henry Yong's birthday party has set the Internet on fire once again.

There was just too much drama going on in her life that kept people so excited.

At this point, she didn't even need to do anything to be on the lips of people.

She has wanted a peaceful comeback where she would only expose Nari and Mack and leave, but her comeback has been on another level.

Mack who was standing at a corner smiled when he saw her. Her presence here only made him believe she was still in love with him and just wanted him to chase her.

Nari who had been standing at the entrance of the hall was caught off guard when she saw Anna walk in. And the smile on her face froze.

She didn't think Anna's entrance would be more grand than hers.

For the past two years she has been adamant about stealing everything Anna owned, she had already spotted the jewelry Anna was wearing.

It was the same jewel that mysterious man had bought at the auction for half a billion dollars. Nari's eyes turned wide.

Shock, jealousy, and resentment flickered in Nari's eyes, eventually turning thick and gloomy. For a moment she forgot all about the people or the cameras in there and wanted to rip everything Anna was putting on with her bare hands.

She wanted to disfigure that beautiful face that had all the men in here drooling for her including Mack. Anna had walked in here and now no one remembers she even existed anymore.

Nari clenched her hands, digging her fingers inside her nails as she stared at Anna furiously.

Her jealous heart was aching.

Nari controlled her emotions and took a bold step to talk to Anna herself.

Anna had appeared so beautiful tonight, but there is only so much her beauty can do. Her beauty wouldn't make people forget her confession last two weeks, it's only a matter of time before they remember and start throwing curses at her again.

"Anna, you're here." Nari greeted her ex friend with the sweetest smile she could muster.
