Chapter 61 SALON 2

As both ladies stepped back inside the salon, they walked straight to the counter. "Did you see a man enter this place with a woman?" The woman at the counter stared at both girls confusedly.

"I'm sorry ma'am, we don't give out the names of our customers, plus so many men come here with women." She said politely.

"Is it money you want, did he pay you to keep your mouth closed." Beth was adamant about catching her brother today. For years Noah was seen by her parents as the perfect child while she's being ridiculed daily. If she can only prove his life has been nothing but pretense she would be happy.

She wanted to get back at him for the insult at the dining table that morning.

"Here have it." She brought out a bundle of money from her purse and threw it at the woman. The woman quickly picked it up, it's not every day she gets huge tips like this, but she stood her ground.

She couldn't give out the information of their customers to anyone no matter how much they offered.

"I'm sorry ma'am. Even if you give me a billion dollars, giving out information about our customers is against the rules." The woman explained.

"So why then did you take my money? Give it back." Beth yelled.

While Beth was arguing with the woman at the counter, Cara turned impatient and walked further into the salon. Even if she knew the truth, she wanted to believe she was wrong for once. She wanted to believe Noah didn't like that model girl.

She wanted to believe everything happening was all a dream and Noah was not here. She would close her eyes right now it would be one of her crazy imaginations.

Cara dreaded this day. She never thought a day like this would come when she would have to fight another woman for the sake of a man who still refused to acknowledge her existence. Noah had looked at her body like it was a disease. She couldn't forget his gaze and after that night, he was gone.

She didn't see him return again.

After she saw Noah carry Anna into that restaurant, she tried finding out about the girl but she found nothing interesting. It was all just a bunch of rumors that nobody had proof of.

She wouldn't deny Anna was beautiful and what surprised her was that she had no record of having anything to do with any man except her ex, Mack Yong.

Cara gritted her teeth as she stepped into the waiting room and there it was. What she was looking for. Anna Sui in flesh and blood.

Anna was smiling at what Janjan said as they drank their cocktail and they did their pedicure. Anna couldn't just sit idle while she waited for her turn for the spa treatment.

If by the time they were done with their pedicure and it still wasn't their turn, she would have to style her hair also.

Her smile angered Cara the more and she walked up to them. The thought of Noah having anything to do with this girl irked her to her bones and her brain suddenly stopped working.

She had thought of putting this girl in her place but she didn't know how to. Now is the perfect time to put Anna where she belongs. Noah belongs to her and her alone.

If only her parents had agreed to come see the Declan's like she had asked, all these wouldn't be happening right now.

They said they couldn't force Noah to marry her and that she should try to win him over. That's the reason she even went to live in that mansion in the first place only to find out Noah didn't live with his parents.

She had hoped and prayed Noah would one day come back and then he did that night. The night she saw him in a club and drugged him so that she could sleep with him. But he was gone before she knew it.

He returned again after a week and she was finally glad he was back. But now another woman was in the picture.

"You there, where's Noah?" Anna immediately turned to the person standing before her. The woman was beautiful, with red hair and hazel eyes.

"Excuse me?" She asked, her question only made Cara more angry. One could clearly see how red she has gotten in anger.

"Stop acting like you don't know what I'm talking about. Aren't you a celebrity, what do you think people would do when they find out you're sleeping around with my boyfriend?" Anna frowned at the woman's words.

Just what was she talking about?

Noah is her husband, he doesn't belong to any other woman.

And who the hell is this woman she hasn't met in her life?

"What are you talking about woman? And how dare you come in lay such accusation against Anna?" Janjan spoke up for her friend. She knew Anna couldn't speak in public places because of her image but nobody knew her and she would speak up for her friend.

Cara had been loud enough to gain the attention of everyone around. She knew the only way to deal with popular people was to embarrass them in public.

"Her sidekick. I'm not here to fight, but I'm here to warn you to leave my boyfriend alone. Go find someone else that can afford your fake life and leave him alone." Cara yelled attracting more eyes of people to themselves. She was good at playing the victim.

The people who had not seen her step-in eyed Anna and the girl supporting her. Women who stole people's men whether married or unmarried were frowned upon by society. Anna could clearly see the game this girl was playing.

She just didn't know who had sent her to ruin her image.

"What's going on here?" An elderly woman asked. She looked between the age range of 45-50.

"This woman who claims to be a celebrity has been running after my boyfriend for weeks now and I want her to stay away from him," Cara said pitifully to earn murmurs from the people around.

Most people had their phones out to capture the juicy moment.

If Anna ever thought Nari was the most pretentious person on earth, then she had thought wrong.

"What are you saying, Anna has never stolen anyone's man," Janjan said. "Stop laying false accusations." She added.

"False accusations? Why would I lie? What do I have to gain in lying?" Cara sobbed.

"Anna Sui is your name, right? She had been caught with a man by a paparazzi last week, who do you think that was?" Anna's frown deepened. She couldn't take it anymore.

She wouldn't let anyone tarnish her image anymore. Gone are the days she would shy away from an opposition.

"What proof do you have that I stole your man as you claim?" Anna asked and Cara frowned further.

"I don't need proof when I saw you with my own eyes." Cara defended.

"You saw her where?"

"Janjan don't waste your time on another clout chaser. You should be careful of what you say before I sue you." Cara's lips twisted at Anna's words. She knew Anna could sue her, Noah wasn't her boyfriend in the first place. She had thought of embarrassing Anna but her plans had backfired.

She had been so angry that she hadn't thought her plans through.

"You and I both know what I'm talking about!! Cara kept speaking and then Anna glared up at her.

"Are you still running that mouth laying false accusations? It seems we'll have to go to court to know what we both know. Especially since I haven't met you a day in my life."

The bodyguards who had been standing outside noticed the commotion between their madam and Cara and rushed in.

"Is anything the problem madam?" They inquired.

When they arrived at the salon, Anna had asked them personally to stay outside cause she didn't want attention to herself or intimidate anyone. But not she regretted doing it.

Beth who had been watching her best friend from a corner rushed in to get Cara. She had no idea why her brother's security was serving his employee, she would have to tell her mother about it. For now, she needed to get Cara out of the situation she had gotten herself into.

Cara had thought Anna Sui was just anyone to step on because she had an innocent sweet face. But that wasn't true at all.

"This woman here stepped in to harass me, I want you to take her away." Malcolm didn't wait for Anna to tell him twice and he walked up to Cara.

"Don't you there touch me!! Cara screamed but Malcolm didn't care as he held her wrist and dragged her out.

"That's enough Malcolm, I'll take her home." Beth stepped in saving her friend as she glanced at Anna and Janjan.

"You'll pay for this humiliation Anna Sui." Cara cried and she left with her friend.

"Please send everyone out Malcolm, I want to continue my pedicure," Anna stated and Malcolm sent everyone out. This time, rather than staying out the door, he stayed close to his madam.
