Chapter 60 SALON 1

1025words
Anna left the mansion the next day with Janjan. Lola had given her a free day to do whatever she wanted and she thought she could shop with her friend for the upcoming event at hand.

"It's been so long, Anna. I know a lot has happened and I understand you didn't have time." Janjan said as they stepped out of the car. The usual maids who followed Anna out whenever she was out didn't come with her this time.

Noah had sent his bodyguards instead. Then, people had almost forgotten she still existed. But right now, she is a hot topic on the news.

"I'm glad you understand Janjan. How about I make up to you, for all the time we didn't spend together?" Anna asked adjusting her hat. Even if she had picked an exclusive spa where people wouldn't really notice her, she still wore her face mask and sunglasses.

She didn't want a situation where people would throw stuff at her or pounce on her. Noah had asked her to do it at home, but she wanted to leave the mansion.

"What do you have in mind?"

"A spa treatment just for the two of us." Janjan smiled.

"The expenses Are on you right?" Janjan asked and Anna nodded. "Of course, how can I forget you married a rich man." She said as they both stepped inside the salon.

When they got in, a girl approached them. "Welcome to Glamorous Tina." The girl said.

"Do you have an appointment or would you like to book one now?" She asked.

"We would love to book one." She said.

Once Anna and Janjan had finally gotten their appointment, they went over to the waiting room to wait for their turn. Their attendant had pleaded, saying the place was packed today but they would attend to them quickly.

Anna didn't have a problem with that, she could wait as long as they wanted. All she wanted was to spend time with Janjan. Recently, she hasn't had time for her bestie and she was deeply sorry for it.

"How is your marriage life, Anna?" She knew what Janjan meant and she blushed. In the past, Janjan has always imagined it to happen with Mack, but who knew she would end up in the hands of another man?

"He did it again? How was it?"

"Jannie, stop." She blushed to see her friend roll her eyes.

"We did nothing after that. And I already told you, I don't remember a thing from that night." She explained.

"You've never kissed?" Janjan asked surprised. Was all men like that? Or is it the ones Anna finds?

"We've kissed many times. (And last week he almost had sex with me)." She blushed. She was too shy to even speak about what had happened between herself and Noah. She couldn't tell Janjan she screamed to the point her aunts had to come check up on her, and now she had no face to go back to her grandfather's mansion.

Noah made her feel strange things with just his tongue and fingers. She pressed her thighs together to ease the little aching she felt down there. Her body always came alive at the thought of him.

She hadn't looked at Noah the same after that day. Her heart raced so fast with him around and she always felt hot. Anna knew she had fallen for him, though she had refused to admit it before, but she knew.

And it scared her, her feelings for Noah scared her. That's the reason she wanted to run away. She had promised not to fall in love with anyone after her experience with Mack, but her heart had betrayed her.

"... But I guess you wouldn't feel it anymore. Right?" She heard Janjan ask and she blinked out of her thoughts.

"Hmm." Janjan narrowed her eyes at her friend.

"Don't tell me you weren't paying attention to anything I said?"

"I was." Anna lied and just then a waiter walked up to them.

"The drinks you asked for." The manservant said handing two cocktails to both girls and they smiled. "Thank you."

Anna took off her face mask and sunglasses to sip her drink, it's not like anyone here cares enough to recognize her or do anything to her.

While both girls sipped their juice, two beautiful girls stepped out from the inner part of the salon. Elizabeth and Cara had just finished whatever they came for and were heading out.

Evelyn's birthday party was fast approaching and they had to make sure they were in good body and shape before then. It wouldn't be just any birthday, Evelyn always makes each year better and more lavish than the last and Beth could already tell what her mother had in mind.

It was a one-four-day party, and the first celebration began tonight. They had invited families and friends from across the country to come celebrate with them. It would be one for the books.

Just as both ladies stepped out of the salon, Beth noticed two familiar men in black suits standing at the entrance of the salon. She had come here without bodyguards so what were they doing here?

Were they here for her? But even her mother didn't know where she was.

"Who sent you here Malcolm?" She asked the first man.

"Young master, Miss Beth." He responded and went back to his position.

Noah, was he here? She thought peeking around. She didn't see his personal car, but she saw one of his cars parked in a corner. Was he here with a woman? What could Noah possibly be doing in a salon?

It couldn't be a business meeting, right?

"What is Noah doing here?" Cara turned excited to know he was here.

"I don't know but I hope he isn't with any woman," Beth said and Cara frowned. She hadn't thought of it that way. Why else would Noah be in a salon if he didn't escort a woman here?

Cara clenched her fingers into a fist at her thought. She just hoped it wasn't the girl Noah had embarrassed her for.
